đŁď¸The SpeakersđŁď¸
**The API-fication of Data Engineering with Data Contracts**
***Samhita Sarkar, Data Engineering Tech Lead at HP Inc***
***([Samhita's LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/samhitasarkar/))***
***Talk Abstract:***
Traditional data engineering is often reactive, relying on fragile pipelines that break whenever upstream software changes. By adopting Data Contracts, teams can shift toward a formal, versioned interface modelled after software APIs. This architectural evolution treats data as a public product, ensuring stability and ending the cycle of constant firefighting.
***Samhita's Bio:***
Samhita is a Data Engineering Tech Lead at HP Inc, having worked across diverse domains including marketing, supply chain and insurance in her career. Samhita is passionate about empowering others having mentored over 100 individuals, guiding them to navigate the career path in data engineering.
**A data platform: The one we planned and the one we ended up with.**
***Luke Ashe-Browne, Co-Founder and Director of Technology & Consulting at Tyme Technologies ([Luke's LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/lukeab/))***
***Talk Abstract:***
Most data platform talks describe the version on the whiteboard. This one is about the version that arrives afterwards, once the design has met scale, delivery pressure, and the people who have to operate it. Drawing on a recent build for a multi-brand European e-commerce group, it walks through where the gap between planned and actual tends to open up, why it usually widens before it closes, and the kinds of decisions that bring a platform back into shape. This talk offers a view from the honest middle, rather than another greenfield case study.
***Luke's Bio:***
Luke Ashe-Browne is Co-Founder and Director of Technology and Consulting at TYME Technologies, advising businesses and engineering leaders on strategic data platforms, platform engineering, AI and digital delivery programmes. Over 25 years he has led data platform, Cloud, SRE and Kubernetes programmes for clients spanning finance, retail, media, public sector and regulated institutions.

**Talk: I Built A Team Of AI Agents. Here's What They Actually Do** ([Liam Darmody](https://www.linkedin.com/in/liamdarmody/), With Curious Growth)
AI agents are revolutionising how we work, but the conversation is too often dominated by software development and coding. What about the rest of us?
I'm a product leader who spent a decade managing human teams before building a team of AI agents to run alongside me. In this hands-on, demo-heavy session, I'll take you behind the scenes to show you how I built and manage a custom team of AI agents that handle briefing, research, writing, and meeting analysis. I give one agent a task, it pulls in the right context, and passes the work to whichever specialist agent is best suited.
This isn't a theoretical talk or a product pitch. It's a practical walkthrough of what works, what doesn't, and what I've learned about designing AI agents that actually do useful work. Whether you're a founder, a strategist, or a knowledge worker looking to scale your output, you'll leave with actionable ideas on how to treat AI not as a single tool, but as a capable team working alongside you.
**About Liam:**
I help senior product and engineering leaders fix the real reason teams fail. Misalignment. Through executive coaching, product advisory and strategic facilitation, I support leaders to rebuild clarity, alignment and momentum so their teams perform at their best without burning out.
**Panel: Getting Started With Claude Code**
This is a real "for the rest of us" event. In this panel we'll be digging into the ways ANYONE can get to grips with tools like Claude Code.
Liam will be joined by Maebh Booth and Miguel Luna who have been using Claude Code outside of software development to help them save time and make better decisions.
**About Maebh:**
Maebh Booth is a senior engineering leader focused on platform, developer experience, and the practical realities of AI across the full development lifecycle, currently working independently to help engineering organisations adopt it in a way that actually delivers value.
Maebh doesnât just use AI at work sheâs also created a team of agents to help organise her life, as well as fun projects like a cocktail making app and a geneology research web app.
**About Miguel:**
Miguel is a Product Leader focused on Cloud Native observability, systems thinking, and practical use of AI with search context.
Miguel has recently been rethinking the product role completely to get the most from LLMs including tools for cohort retention and funnel analyses, customer health signals, churn prediction, writing PRDs and one-pagers.

Language Of Leadership - Applied Debate Workshop
**No one communication style works with all people. This Workshop will help you to develop your ability to communicate in a number of styles.**
On the face of it, a leadership is about inspiring others to follow in your vision. To go above and beyond in the name of your objective, however leadership is more about effectively communicating ideas in the simplest and most effective way possible. This can be difficult to do as we all have something unique which makes us tick, whether it's facts & statistics, competition, shared goals or cooperative decision making.
This workshop will focus on identifying the key drivers that motivate a team and how to present information effectively based on which driver motivates an individual the most.
Sarah Pautsch Debate London's Career Coach takes us through how to use a suite of debate skills to:
* Understand and identify which key driver motivates an individual and team.
* Effectively communicate the same idea in different forms using a range of different styles.
* Develop the skills to manage personalities you would naturally clash with and develop practical methods to bring them into your vision.
You will also learn by doing through a simulated leadership scenario in which you will have to work with others to secure collective agreement while achieving your own unique objective.
**Venue**
Food and drink is available for order at the venue. There is a 15 minute drinks break and a 30 minute lunch break included in the running time.
**Please do not bring external food or drink into the premises you will be asked to throw it away.**
**Meet Your Coach:**
Sarah is a qualified HR Professional working within HR & Learning & Development for a decade. Sarah has worked in education, non-profit, life sciences Cell and Gene Therapy Pharmaceutical industries. Specialising in recruitment, coaching and employment law. Sarah regularly advises senior leaders on business strategic focuses and future planning. Being an accredited member of the CIPD and IIRSM organisations Sarah is able to use her knowledge globally to coach and train.
**What is Debate+ (Debate Professional)**
Debate+ is our advanced series of debate workshops which are focused 100% on how one can apply debate skills in a professional environment.
Design Evenings LDN: The New Era of In-House Creativity
In-house creative teams are redefining what great brand work looks like. This session explores how Monzo built a world-class creative studio from within, establishing clear creative vision, strong craft standards, and a talent model that allows creativity to lead, not just execute.
Great in-house creativity depends on strong internal partnerships. Coral shares how Monzoâs studio works across marketing, product, and external agencies, building trust, designing processes that protect quality, and navigating organisational complexity without compromising creative ambition.
**Event Overview**
In this fireside chat, Coral Garvey, Creative Director at Monzo Bank, offers a candid look at building and scaling a high-performing in-house creative studio.
**01 - Building a World-Class Creative Studio from Within**
What it takes to establish the right foundations for an in-house studio, from defining creative vision and craft standards to designing talent architecture that scales. Coral shares how to move beyond a service mindset and build a team that leads creatively, not just executes.
**02 - Making Creativity Work Across the Business**
How strong in-house studios partner effectively with marketing, product, and external agencies. Learn how trust is built internally, how processes are designed to protect creative quality, and how to navigate organisational constraints without dulling creative ambition.
**03 - Culture, Craft, and Scaling Without Losing the Edge**
An honest look at the realities of growth, what breaks, what needs rebuilding, and how to maintain a safe, high-output creative culture as expectations rise. From early missteps to momentum-building moments, this is a behind-the-scenes view of creativity at scale.
**Speakers**
**Coral Garvey - Creative Director, Monzo**
Coral Garvey is a multidisciplinary Creative Director from NYC, now based in London, working at the intersection of brand, product, and culture. She is currently Creative Director at Monzo, a leading global fintech bank, where she leads brand strategy and creative execution across design, writing, marketing, and product. Coral has been instrumental in building Monzoâs internal Creative Studio, establishing global brand systems, and directing integrated campaigns, product launches, and experiential work, while embedding brand thinking directly into the product experience and supporting international growth, including the US market. Previously, Coral was Creative Director at Depop, helping scale the platform into a global Gen Z cultural force, and Chief Creative Officer at Playground, an experiential Web3 platform. Her work spans global brands including Adidas, Diesel, and Under Armour, with a practice rooted in culturally driven storytelling and bold creative leadership.

Free In-Person Meeting: Get Over Losses & Betrayals, Build Lasting Relationships
This is a free, in-person meeting on the subject of betrayals, losses and how to get over them so you can build lasting relationships.
Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to âpin the blameâ on someone or something. If you donât find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse.
Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well.
Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, donât know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe youâve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship.
Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action?
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships!
Break free from self imposed limitations
Here we will discuss:
⢠How to âeraseâ the trauma of past hurts and betrayals so that one isnât always repeating past mistakes.
⢠Why and how do the negative emotions of others affect you?
⢠Why is my partner withdrawing and what can I do about it?
⢠Why do we sometimes feel compelled to hurt the ones we love?
⢠Fights & arguments - what's really behind them?
⢠What underlies âcorrosive criticismâ or the need to invalidate self or others?
⢠How one can stably change oneâs outlook on life so they can affect positive change?
⢠Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them?
⢠How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about?
⢠How to enhance oneâs own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or oneâs career?
Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general.
Learn where painful experiences are âstoredâ and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can âeraseâ those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. Learn too, about what can lead some people to become âtoxicâ personalities and how to identify those traits in others so you wonât be tripped up trusting the wrong person.
Our free Meet-ups occur in a safe environment where one can learn, without fear of judgment or criticism, and without the recommendation of harmful mental techniques or therapies, just how YOU can get yourself onto a happier & more successful path: in love & in life.
We look forward to having you join us!

Expect to be challenged, affirmed, and genuinely seen - sometimes all in the same breath.
**Annette Santiago Reyes** Annette has a rare talent: she makes the way you communicate feel like a discovery, not a critique. Stephanie doesnât just develop leaders. She develops the kind of leaders people actually want to follow.
**Lillian Morales-Laster** SVP Human Resources Director at United Midwest Savings Bank and Executive Director of the Empowering Latinas Leadership Academy (ELLA). Lillian has spent her career combining her passion for equity and inclusion with her experience in human resources to lead teams and organizations in the development of supportive work environments. It's a vibrant community of hermanas supporting and uplifting each other as they navigate their paths to leadership. A Columbus Business First Community Champion and Distinguished Hispanic Ohioan, her commitment to empowering others shows up everywhere she goes.
**Rachyl Kershaw** Founder of Greater Columbus Consulting and the architect behind the Confidence Lab Annual Summit, Rachyl has a gift for cutting through the noise, helping high-achievers stop performing success and start living it. If youâve ever wondered why doing everything right still feels like somethingâs missing, youâre in exactly the right room.

The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange
At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter.
This is the follow-up.
Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered â and honestly explore whatâs actually happening now.
Together, weâll explore:
⢠What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in
⢠Whatâs surprised you, supported you, or shifted
⢠What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know
If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote â your word, your artifact, your intention. Weâll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. Youâll start where we all started: with whatâs true right now.
Optional art materials will be available for anyone who wants to reflect creatively alongside conversation. If you brought something home from January, youâre warmly invited to bring it back.
The intention is the same as always: everyone leaves feeling more clear, more connected, and a little lighter.
Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate.
What to Expect
⢠A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup)
⢠Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak
⢠Reflection, listening, and lived experience â not advice-giving
⢠Optional creative reflection alongside conversation
⢠A calm, supportive environment
Who This Is For
Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change â especially those looking for honest conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords.
Good to Know
⢠No preparation required
⢠If you attended in January, we invite you to bring anything you created or wrote (or something that represents your intention at the start of the year) - itâs optional but invited
⢠Participation is invitational; listening is always welcome
⢠Creative activities are optional

**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.
