We will play the game together in GERMAN and I will moderate the game and support you when having difficulties unterstanding questions and correct your German throughout the game. This is a relaxed, casual meetup: **no hardcore competition**, just friendly rivalry. 👉 **Please RSVP only if you plan to attend.** *** **How to Play (Quick Guide):** * **Setup:** Build the island with hex tiles, place number tokens, roads, settlements, and give each player starting resources. * **Turn order:** On your turn, roll two dice to produce resources, then trade and build. * **Resource production:** Players gain resources (wood, brick, sheep, wheat, ore) from tiles next to their settlements/cities when the tile’s number is rolled. * **Robber:** If a 7 is rolled, players with too many cards discard half; move the robber to block a tile and steal a card. *NOTE: Friendly robber rule: We play with the friendly robber rule, which means that the robber cannot be placed on a player with less than 3 points.* * **Trading:** Trade resources with other players or with the bank (usually 4:1, better with ports). * **Building:** Spend resources to build roads, settlements, cities, or buy development cards. * **Victory points:** Earn points from settlements, cities, development cards, Longest Road, and Largest Army. * **Winning:** The first player to reach 10 victory points on their turn wins. * 2-Hours-Max: If no one reaches 10 points by the end of the second hour, the player with the most points wins.
