Classic - 80 KM - 3 days, 2 nights - Söderåsen National Park
Hey Randoms,
Here we go again! The classic 3 day hike through the National Park in Sweden - Söderåsen.
We meet in CPH Central station and ride the train together. The hiking starts when we get off the train in Åstorp and finish Saturday in Höör. Both towns have decent train connections, and tickets are available in the Skånetrafiken mobile app - highly recommended.
**Train on Thursday**
Station: Copenhagen Central
8:30 departure - platform: see info screens
Öresundståg 1034 toward Göteborg C
9:54 Helsingborg C - change of train
10:18 Helsingborg C Pågatåg 1812 towards Hässleholm
10:43 arrival in Åstorp, our destination
**The Hike**
There are pretty good water posts along the way, but it's still recommended to filter/sanitize the water. There's a supermarket and bakery option on Friday. The plan:
Thursday: 20 KM
Friday: 31 KM
Saturday: 30 KM
Danish Language Cafe
https://www.facebook.com/korsgadesprogcafe/
Come and join our cosy language cafe. We recommend that you already speak some Danish (maybe around module 3 on sprogskole) so you can join and understand the conversation. We are mostly two Danes joining, so we can make two groups: beginners and more advanced. We are having conversations while drinking tea. If you have an exam coming up, we can speak about your exam subjects some of the time.
Small donations (10-20 kroner) are appreciated, to support the rent of the place.
You find us in the basement of Korsgade 19. It is a door to the right of the main entrance.
Metal bike ride around Amager
Back by popular demand! Our heavy metal bike ride around Amager comes back for the fourth time.
Got no plans for the Kristi Himmelfarts Dag? Let’s go for a (chill) bike ride together and talk metal 🤘 🎸 🚲
Our plan is to start in front of the Frederiksberg Rådhus at 10am. You can also choose to join us under the Sjællandsbroen on the Amager side at 10.30. Location here:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/bAWaKSh7P2314Fc48?g_st=ic
We will bike counter clockwise, with ample stops and a very chill pace. Plan is to stop in Dragør and have lunch at one of the cute cafes, then continue biking via the airport and Amager Strand and then back to Frederiksberg (but feel free to drop off at any point where it suits you).
Hope the weather will cooperate ☀️😎
See you all soon!!
Authentic You Me Slow Friending | Meet new people | No Small Talk [30+yo]

**Welcome to Authentic You Me**
We often hear how difficult it can be to make new friends as an adult and particularly when moving abroad; or when rebuilding social circles cos old friends have moved away or onto new life phases.
Socialising attempts often mean standing in a crowded room, wearing a polite smile, and answering the same three questions: *"What do you do?" "Where are you from?" "How long have you been here?"* Great for breaking the ice, but rarely leading to something inspiring or meaningful. It’s exhausting. It feels like a performance.
While the absence of authentic connection and meaningful conversations can sometimes leave us feeling a little lonely or like we don't belong.

Café Philo Copenhagen
We meet on Saturdays late mornings to have a casual, meaningful conversation on topics of interest to everyone chosen on the spot by majority voting. So please feel free to propose your own topic!
Everyone is welcome to talk, but if you prefer to just join and listen, that is perfect too.
As the contacted cafés usually only give reservations to eating guests, it is very welcome if you order something to eat during our stay. This is however not mandatory.
This event is in English.

Moral & Ethical Philosophical Dilemmas! Living With Hard Choices. Get provoked!
**“Moral & Ethical Dilemmas (!) — Living With Impossible Choices”**
Responsibility, Conflict, Values, and the Tensions of Modern Life
We live in a time where the hardest questions no longer have clear answers. Technology, politics, culture, and global crises constantly force us to choose between competing values—often with no option that feels fully right. What should guide us when every choice carries a moral cost?
This isn’t a debate club or a moral lecture. It’s a space to think aloud, challenge assumptions, and confront uncomfortable questions together.
***
**Topics we’ll touch on:**
* Can good intentions still cause real harm?
* Individual responsibility vs collective outcomes
* Free speech vs protection from harm
* Loyalty, fairness, and moral compromise
* Is moral clarity possible—or are we doomed to permanent gray zones?
* Do principles matter when consequences are severe?
* And finally… how do we live with ourselves when there is no “clean” choice?
Casual discussion. No philosophy background required—just honesty, openness, and a willingness to be challenged. Bring your views, your doubts, and your discomfort—and expect others to do the same.
Share your thoughts. Get provoked. And see what survives serious reflection.

Shut Up & Write!™ Copenhagen
Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at our Copenhagen Shut Up & Write! sessions.
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, résumé, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
SCHEDULE:
- 15 minutes of hellos and getting settled; maybe some quick intros.
- Then, the timer starts! : writing for 1 hour.
- After the hour is up... chat / take off / keep writing, if you're on a roll.
OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens once the hour of writing is complete. Writing can be very solitary... connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.
It's best to be on time, but BEING LATE IS ALSO OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check in with us after the session. (We’ll be the ones with the small Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.
What Should I Bring?
Whatever you need to be able to write!
Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block the cafe’s overhead music or the occasional conversation by other patrons.
Potluck Brunch
Sharing a meal can be truly magical.
Bring along your favourite brunch dish from back home and share it with us before the Sunday service.
Everyone is welcome.
