The days are cold and sometimes snowy, the city quieter, more reflective. It’s the season for winter walks, museums and cinemas, snow-dusted hikes on Sljeme, and simple pleasures like warm food and long conversations indoors.🌍💖💬 Zagreb is unusual in that winter can mean a mini ski break close to home. Sljeme offers easy slopes for beginners and casual skiers, without crowds or queues. Ice skating adds to the rhythm, outdoors at Šalata or indoors at Velesajam and the Admiral Ice Dome. ⛸️🎿 And the best way to share it? At **[SFIZ.FUN](https://sites.google.com/view/smallfridayinternationalzagreb)**. Our meetups are where plans get made, tips get swapped, and crews form to explore Zagreb together. 🌍💖 🍺 **Why The Beertija?** Because it’s that place everyone ends up wishing they’d gone to 😏✨ Warm beer cellar vibes 🍻🔥, cosy living-room energy 🛋️☕, 🚭 non-smoking inside (happy clothes, happy lungs 😌), plus a covered outdoor patio for quick smoke breaks 🚬😉. Skip it, and you’ll hear about it later 👀💬 💡 Top tip: Turn up early, smile, catch someone’s eye, and dive into conversation, that’s how the magic starts 😉💫 No pressure, just rock up and join the crew. 💖 Let’s ditch the screen, grab a drink, and meet the world! See you soon, **SFIZ Crew** P.S. Spread the word https://sites.google.com/view/smallfridayinternationalzagreb 🔎 **How to Spot Us** New here?

Lazy Hike: Coffee → Cable Car → Medvednica Walk & Lunch
Lazy Hike: Coffee → Cable Car → Medvednica Walk & Lunch
Let’s take a little Sunday escape from the city and enjoy some fresh mountain air together. If the weather cooperates, we’ll organise a relaxed **open-air meetup on Sljeme**, combining coffee, a cable-car ride, a gentle walk through the forest, and lunch at a mountain lodge. This is a **very easy hike**, suitable for almost everyone, the walk is mostly flat with only a few small uphill or downhill sections. *** ## ☕ Step 1 – Coffee Meetup We start the day with a relaxed coffee gathering: 📍 **[Dr. Who Café](https://www.instagram.com/explore/locations/2087441298235509/caffe-bar-drwho/)** 🕚 **11:00 – 12:00** If you prefer to skip coffee, you can simply join us at the cable car. *** ## 🚡 Step 2 – Cable Car Ride 📍 **[Sljeme Cable Car](https://www.zicarasljeme.hr/) Base Station** 🕧 **12:30** From there we’ll take the cable car up the mountain and **exit at the Brestovac station** (the penultimate stop). *** ## 🥾 Step 3 – Easy Walk From Brestovac we’ll walk **less than one hour** to the mountain lodge **Runolist**. The path is scenic and mostly flat, making it perfect for conversation and enjoying nature. *** ## 🍲 Step 4 – Lunch at Runolist Lodge [Runolist](https://runolistsljeme.com/) has a small cantina where we can have lunch together. Typical meals cost roughly **10–20€**. After lunch we’ll walk back the same way and return to the city. Expected arrival back in Zagreb: **around 17:00 (5pm)**. *** ## 💳 Cable Car Tickets 🚡 **Free** for Zagreb residents with an ID showing Zagreb domicile 🚡 About **10€ return** for others *** ## 🌦️ Weather Note This meetup is **weather dependent**. If the weather turns bad, we will simply keep the **coffee meetup at Dr. Who** and skip the mountain trip. Please **check the [WhatsApp group](https://sites.google.com/view/smallfridayinternationalzagreb/faq/sfiz-whatsapp-guide-keeping-it-fun-and-respectful) on Sunday morning** for the final confirmation. *** ## 🌿 What to Expect • relaxed pace • friendly international crowd • fresh air and forest views • casual conversations • optional lunch together No hiking experience required, just good shoes and a good mood. ***

Algorithmic Trading & Crypto
Algorithmic Trading & Crypto
## (Lesson 2) ## What to expect Project Equilibrium is an in-person introduction to disciplined, rule-based trading automation. This first event is designed to be clear, practical, and approachable no hype, no pressure, and no prior technical background required. ### Why we meet (two-session structure) This meetup is structured as **two lessons**: **Lesson 1 — The “Why” (mindset + framework)** * What Project Equilibrium is (and what it is not) * Why we focus on process, rules, and execution discipline * What “24/7 execution” means in practice * Q&A and open discussion **Lesson 2 — The “How” (step-by-step setup)** * A simple walkthrough of the basic tools you need * Step-by-step guidance to install and prepare the required exchange apps/accounts * A clear checklist to be ready for future sessions (You won’t be left alone—everything is explained calmly and in order.) ### What to bring To make the second lesson smooth, please bring: * **A smartphone** (for authentication and exchange app setup) * **A laptop** (for the setup steps and configuration) If you only have one device, you can still join Lesson 1. The setup lesson is simply easier with both. ### Who this is for * People curious about algorithmic execution and portfolio discipline * Beginners who want a structured approach * Experienced traders who want more consistency and less stress ### Agenda * Welcome + introductions * Lesson focus of the day (Why / How) * Guided walkthrough (where applicable) * Q&A + next steps ### How to find the group * Arrive a few minutes early and look for the **Project Equilibrium** group. * I will be there to welcome attendees if you’re unsure, simply ask the venue staff for the Meetup group name.

CBusData - Discover the Power of Window Functions
CBusData - Discover the Power of Window Functions
Window functions have nothing to do with the Windows operating system but provide a “window” to a result set when used in SQL queries. They are powerful, set-based methods to view data in unexpected ways. Window functions provide easy, set-based solutions to solve some common problems: * Using running totals * Performing operations in intervals * Identifying data gaps and islands * Performing aggregates without losing detail Many people are confused by window functions and do not know how to use them properly. This session will explore window functions, how they work, and how to use them. Demonstrations with several examples will solidify how window functions can simplify queries and make them more powerful.
Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games! The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Not only is it a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and make friendships that'll last a lifetime! Ask yourself if you want to join the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**, and say "Yes, And" that you'll have fun!
