AI Breakfast Vienna #1
**Update**: due to the high number of interested parties, we have had to change the venue to Cafe Museum on Karlsplatz.
New year, new format. With the **AI Breakfast**, we’re creating a San-Francisco-style morning gathering for the Austrian AI ecosystem: casual, high-signal, no stage, no slides — just real conversations.
This is an open exchange for decision-makers, deep tech builders, Clawdbotlers, founders, CIOs, researchers, public sector innovators and anyone actively shaping AI. Corporate meets startup, policy meets engineering, research meets product. The goal is simple: meaningful connections, sharp discussions, and cross-pollination of ideas — before 9am.
Breakfast is ordered at your own expense.
The table is reserved under **Cristian Hofmann** / **AI Austria**.
Seats are limited.
Your host Cristian Hofmann, Amin Khater & Ruben Hetfleisch will welcome you.
👉 Please only RSVP if you truly plan to attend 🙂

Tango Argentino Basics Course
A grounded, embodied approach to Tango Argentino for beginners building foundations and improvers seeking clarity, depth, and freedom.
**Every Sunday (except during our Tango Immersion Weekends), we explore the essentials of Tango Argentino from a mindful, embodied approach. Focusing not only on what to do, but on how and why we move the way we do in this dance.**
✨ No previous experience required, just curiosity to work with essential principles that allow you to understand the Tango Argentino language sooner, and adapt easier to real social dance situations.
✨ Experienced dancers refine technique and efficiency of their movements.
✨ **You can come with or without a dance partner**, and learn the role(s) of your choice (Jessica encourages to learn both).
✨ **Each class is followed by our Focused Práctica**, a guided practice gathering for all levels, where you can take time to socialize and integrate what you learned, ask questions, receive feedback, and practice in a relaxed and supportive environment.
### **Dates & Time**
**Sundays** (except during the Tango Immersion intensive weekends \* check [agenda](https://www.jessicagerdel.com/#agenda) for specific dates)
**19:00–20:00** Tango Basics Class
**20:00–22:00** Practice Gathering with guided exercises and feedback
### **📍 Location**
EWTO Akademie – **Haydngasse 1, 1060 Wien**
### **Registration**
Drop-in possible. Registration at jessicagerdel.com is recommended.
€20 per person per class
€15 per person per Guided Practice session
**€85 pack of 4 classes in a row + Guided Practice sessions after each class** (e.g. if you start on Sunday Feb 22nd, it includes the classes of Feb 22 + March 1, 15 and 22 –on March 8 there's no class because of the Tango Immersion Weekend)
Young students and people with limited income can request a 20-30% partial scholarship via email or in person.
PS. This course doesn't include classes on March 8th and April 19th because of Jessica's [Tango Immersion](https://www.jessicagerdel.com/tangoimmersion) Weekends. She'll guide you on which workshops are suitable for beginners if you want to join us those weekends too.
**Teaching approach**
Spoiler alert: This is not about copying and memorizing steps.
Jessica's teaching focus is on body awareness, connection, and developing good habits from the start — so what you learn works in real social dance situations and truly supports your dance in the long term.
**Check out more about her work at [jessicagerdel.com](https://www.jessicagerdel.com/) and on [Facebook](https://www.facebook.com/tangoimmersion/)/[Instagram](http://www.instagram.com/abrazatango): Abrazatango.**
Looking forward to seeing you there!
🌲Spring Hike from Vienna (with Uschi 🐼)
Spring is back! You are invited to hike with us on Sunday, March 15, in the quiet hills around Vienna, starting together at 13:00 from Hütteldorf U4 U-Bahn/S-Bahn station and reaching the Jubiläumswarte on foot at around 450 mt altitude.
The exact **meeting point** is just outside the station door facing the bus stops (you'll have the Anker bakery on your left when you exit through that door). A funny pug named Uschi will probably join us.
We'll reach the Stadtwanderweg number 4 together and then we'll follow that hiking path entirely. We'll do a 30-minute stop near the observation tower on the top of the hill, where you can eat your fruits and snacks, and we plan to be back at the Hütteldorf station at 17:00.
Please bring 1 liter of water and wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothes. The hike is not long, but it is moderately difficult. We might sit in the meadow for a while if the weather allows it, so bringing a blanket could also be useful.
IMPORTANT: This is not a guided hike, but simply a chance to experience nature around Vienna together, so everyone is responsible for their own health and safety.
If you need more information, please ask in the comments below.

**Stop overthinking and start playing!** 🌿 This session is a soft, safe space to practice being present and letting go of perfectionism. Please note: The main part of this session will be held in **German**.

How to Take Control of YOUR Mental Health
It’s time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind.
Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Here is the secret of being positive and free:
Thinking positively is not enough.
You also have to get rid of the negative thinking.
Your mind is like a garden.
You can plant many beautiful flowers in it, but if you don't get rid of the weeds when you plant your flowers, the weeds will soon take over the whole garden.
A positive thought is like a flower in your mental garden, and a negative thought is like a weed.
You cannot expect to have a positive mindset if you continue to have negative thoughts dwelling and growing there.
So, how do you get rid of the negative thoughts? That's what this Meetup is all about. Attend this local meeting and find out!
The Meetup event will be led by a consultant who had helped many people live happier in life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
