đł Letâs play skittles! âQueer Kegelnâ
Join our monthly âQueer Kegelabendâ, which is mostly a pure fun event with a slight sportive touch. No previous experience required. Beginners and all genders most welcome! It is our ambition to welcome a broadly diversified crowd! Your own omfortable footwear might contribute to an enjoyable evening.
**Schedule:**
1. 19:20 Get together
2. 19:25 Instructions (including safety), line-up of participants
3. 19:30 Getting started
* *Latecomers unfortunately can´t be admitted.*
* *Please bring a few EUR 1 coins to keep the coin operated machinery going.*
There is no drinks or food service in the basement (Kegelbahn) of CafĂŠ Weidinger. So feel free to order something on arrival and take it downstairs before we get started. Alternatively bring your own drinks or food. Yes, this is possible!
Its chatting, meeting (new) people, catching-up with the ones you might already know from our monthly MeetUps at the HIVE or other events. Communication is key, like always. Letâs enjoy a nice evening together with a modest sportive touch on the side!
**Please show respect to the others and arrive on time.** As we need to line-up the players before getting starteted, hence late comers unfortunately can´t be admitted.
**What is skittles play (Kegeln)?**
Skittles play has a very long tradition in Europe and is the game before the Americans "invented" bowling. So we will play with 9 pins and smaller balls with less weight compared to bowling.
**Costs:** To rent the skittle alley is just EUR 8 per hour for the whole group. We will divide costs by the number of participants.
So expect a contribution of around *EUR 2-3 for the whole evening*. The number of participants is limited.
The machinery of the skittle alley is coin operated and accepts EUR 1 coins only. So please bring along a few EUR 1 coins to keep the machinery going!
**Participation Fee:** To help cover the Meetup maintenance fee, we recommend a donation of 1-2 Euros directly to the organizers.
**Results:** The results of the evening (Igo is so kind to count the scores and enters theses for each participant in a spreadsheet) are published in the "pictures" area of the MeetUp. Historic results are availble there.
**Cafe Weidinger** has not been renovated over the last at least 50 years.
The skittles alley dates from 1964. You can feel this "special flair". A bit shaby, but inexpensive fun for a whole evening.
It´s almost a museum of a skittles alley.
**The difference between bowling and skittles play**:
* The bowling lanes are covered with an oil film, the skittles lane is not.
* In bowling, the ball is is considerably larger and heavier.
* Bowling lanes are slightly curved, our lane is flat.
* Bowling balls have three holes, our balls have none, one or two. Most of our balls have two holes.
* Nine pins are thrown instead of ten.
* In bowling, the pins are set up by so-called pin-setter machines and therefore stand freely in contrast to skittles, where the pins hang from strings.
* Our skittles lane is an asphalt lane.
* You do not need to rent or bring special shoes llike for bowling. But to play in sneakers or sportive footwear is more comfortable.
UX VIENNA at home with Arnold SchĂśnberg
Arnold SchĂśnberg (1874â1951) was one of the most significant figures in the creative world in the first half of the 20th century. Following in the tradition of Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, and Mahler, the Austrian (and, after his immigration to New York and later Los Angeles, also US-American) composer, music theorist, teacher, and writer reshaped the practice of harmony in classical music. Some of SchĂśnbergâs most famous contributions were the development of his twelve-tone-method and his attention to sound color (Klangfarbe), both of which strongly influenced generations of composers up until today.
But SchĂśnbergâs creative world goes beyond music. He was a designer, painter, inventor, and systems thinker: building tools and furniture, binding books, designing stage sets and costumes, inventing machines, and even building his own chess set, for four players.
In this meetup, we explore SchĂśnberg through a UX lens: what can his way of thinking, making, and problem-solving teach us about design, tools, and user experience today? We will also look at the museum and concert space as an experience that unfolds through the perception of an audience.
The [Arnold SchĂśnberg Center](https://schoenberg.at/) is a repository of SchĂśnberg's archival legacy. Director Dr. Ulrike Anton will provide an introduction to the Arnold SchĂśnberg Center. User researcher Dr. Franziska Brunner will give us a guided tour and lead a discussion of the exhibition. Arnold SchĂśnberg's estate is on [UNESCOâs Memory of the World Register](https://www.unesco.at/en/communication/documentary-heritage/memory-of-the-world-in-austria/arnold-schoenberg-estate), recognized for its global importance as a documentary heritage.
After an afternoon in the museum space from 3:00â6:00 p.m.. We also invite you to attend an [in-house concert at 6:30 p.m](https://schoenberg.at/en/events/upcoming-events/3793/loops-from-other-planets)., followed by dinner. đť đ˝ď¸
* The âŹ18 concert price includes entrance to the exhibit. (Entrance to just the exhibit without the concert costs ⏠6.)
* Admission for both the museum and the concert is free for those under 26 years old.
* Dinner afterwards is optional, and everyone will cover their own meal.

You just havenât been able to follow through. You start things, lose momentum and find yourself starting over again. Youâre not alone.

The High Performance Nervous System - Tea Circle
\*\*\*only 10 spots available\*\*\*
If you are familiar with high performance, and human potential, you already know that the nervous system is not a peripheral topic. It is the substrate.
Focus, creativity, emotional intelligence, the capacity for genuine connection, the quality of leadership, making good decisions under pressure â all of it is downstream of the state your nervous system is operating in at any given moment.
Especially expats who have spent years navigating relocation, high stakes, and constantly adapt to new environments, the nervous system carries a specific signature.
Research confirms that elevated cortisol, disrupted sleep, degraded executive function appear especially in populations who consider themselves performing well, because the performance continues even as the foundation slowly depletes.
The next level of performance does not come from pushing harder. It comes from addressing what is running underneath: the nervous system itself.
Regulation is the physiological prerequisite for clear thinking, genuine connection, and sustainable output. When you operate from a regulated baseline, decisions sharpen, leadership deepens, creativity flows, and the driven quality of your ambition stops costing you what it currently costs.
At this LibaTea circle, we explore how high achievers can move from chronic high-arousal functioning to a more powerful operating state, where drive and recovery reinforce each other rather than compete.
This is a group of ambitious, internationally-minded people engaging seriously with the science and practice of nervous system regulation.
**You will explore:**
\- Why high achievers and expats carry a specific and measurable nervous system load
\- What polyvagal theory and allostatic load research actually mean for how you perform
\- What genuine regulation looks like â beyond stress management and temporary relief
\- How your nervous system state shapes the quality of every decision\, conversation\, and creative act
This circle is for professionals, founders and expats who want to operate with more depth, clarity, and long-term capacity.
**Event flow (\~90 minutes):**
Arrival & welcome
Breath & tea
Guided reflection rounds
Closing integration
**A practical note:**
Spots are limited to 10 people.
A recommended contribution is 10⏠/ person.

**About LibaTea:**
LibaTea is a community exploring depth, growth, and genuine connection through conversation and ritual. We host weekly tea circles and monthly masterminds for thoughtful people who take their inner lives as seriously as their outer ones.
**Why tea?**
Tea rituals have been used for centuries to create presence and slow thinking down enough for something real to emerge. We use that principle to create the conditions for conversations worth having.

DARE TO SHARE DEEPLY - use your true inner core, grow & connect as never before
**Welcome to the DARE TO SHARE DEEPLY - event: use your true inner core, grow & connect as never before!**
**Wherever youâre coming from, whatever youâre carrying â youâre welcome exactly as you are.**
**This is for you** if youâre carrying more than you show â and youâre ready to stop pretending otherwise.
What Iâve learned from my own journey: the moment you stop judging, hiding yourself, everything shifts.
Your private and business relationships. Your confidence. How people see you and show up for you.
**The inner world mirrors the outer one â every time.**
So I created this space.
**No gurus, no fixing, no comparison.**
Just real people, real stories â love, loss, scars, the messy and the meaningful.
**What to expect:**
Come and share your story, or simply listen and observe â whatever feels right for you. Both are equally welcome here. We go deeper than small talk, beyond our differences, to what actually unites us as humans.
**This is for you if:**
â You feel disconnected from yourself, others or system/society
â Youâre done with surface-level connection
â You want more joy, ease, and honesty in your relationships
â You believe, like I do, that we grow through our differences â not despite them.
When we learn to love and accept ourselves with genuine kindness, something larger becomes possible.
I believe this alignment to our true selves is the foundation for a new kind of community â trauma-aware, deeply reflective, and built on empathy strong enough to carry us into a more united future together.
**That future starts here. Person by person. Story by story**.
Every way of being here is worth understanding. Not correcting.
**Come as you are. Leave more yourself.**
I am looking forward to seeing you in person.
Any questions? Message me anytime.
â Tom

Visualization of multivariate data â a talk at the FJS
Our co-organizer Ursula Laa will be giving a talk orgranized by the Young Statistician Forum (FJS), and you are welcome to join! Expect a technical tour of visualisation tools for multivariate and high-dimensional data in R with practical examples!
**âšď¸ Abstract**
Statistical graphics are central to exploring and modeling complex data. As dimensionality increases, uncovering structure and dependencies becomes more challenging. This presentation gives an overview of practical tools for visualizing multivariate data, from strategic use of scatterplots and scatterplot matrices to linear and nonlinear projection methods. Special emphasis will be placed on tour methodsâanimated sequences of linear projectionsâthat reveal clustering, outliers, and nonlinear relationships. All graphics will be demonstrated in R, with code to reproduce the results.

Ecstatic Dance - Ecstatic Journey
**Family of Abundance**
Sonntag, 26.04.2026
Was danach passiert, entscheiden wir zusammen. Singen. Tanzen, ganz sanft, ganz akustisch.
Nah. Warm. Getragen.
Dann lassen wir gemeinsam ausklingen. Jeder bleibt solange er will â mit weiterem Essen, Musik und was sich aus der Entspanntheit heraus Ăśffnet.
**Ablauf**

What If Your AI Could Be a Team? - Chad Green
**Important time note:** Please plan on arriving between 5:30 and 6:00 as the elevators lock after 6 and you'll need to message us and we'll need to come get you.
The building address is 4450 Bridge Park
The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400
You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge.
**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.

Free in-person event: Take Control of Your Mental Health
Itâs time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Have you ever suffered from a traumatic experience, a deep loss or been through a painful breakup? Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went?
Are your emotions out of your own control? Have you ever felt, even if you arenât aware of it, that possibly you are getting in your own way of your happiness and success? How does this affect your self-confidence?
Find out what is at the root of all stress, anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Find out how and why you hold yourself back from achieving your goals and having the life you have dreamed of. As soon as you learn what is at the root of these unwanted conditions, youâll see it is something you can DO something about. You will not be labeled or categorized at this MeetUp.
The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange
At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter.
This is the follow-up.
Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered â and honestly explore whatâs actually happening now.
Together, weâll explore:
⢠What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in
⢠Whatâs surprised you, supported you, or shifted
⢠What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know
If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote â your word, your artifact, your intention. Weâll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. Youâll start where we all started: with whatâs true right now.
Optional art materials will be available for anyone who wants to reflect creatively alongside conversation. If you brought something home from January, youâre warmly invited to bring it back.
The intention is the same as always: everyone leaves feeling more clear, more connected, and a little lighter.
Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate.
What to Expect
⢠A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup)
⢠Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak
⢠Reflection, listening, and lived experience â not advice-giving
⢠Optional creative reflection alongside conversation
⢠A calm, supportive environment
Who This Is For
Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change â especially those looking for honest conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords.
Good to Know
⢠No preparation required
⢠If you attended in January, we invite you to bring anything you created or wrote (or something that represents your intention at the start of the year) - itâs optional but invited
⢠Participation is invitational; listening is always welcome
⢠Creative activities are optional
How to Take Control of YOUR Mental Health
Itâs time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind.
Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Here is the secret of being positive and free:
Thinking positively is not enough.
You also have to get rid of the negative thinking.
Your mind is like a garden.
You can plant many beautiful flowers in it, but if you don't get rid of the weeds when you plant your flowers, the weeds will soon take over the whole garden.
A positive thought is like a flower in your mental garden, and a negative thought is like a weed.
You cannot expect to have a positive mindset if you continue to have negative thoughts dwelling and growing there.
So, how do you get rid of the negative thoughts? That's what this Meetup is all about. Attend this local meeting and find out!
The Meetup event will be led by a consultant who had helped many people live happier in life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Dianetics & Scientology life improvement center.
