Hello filmmakers, we welcome you to our next in-person networking Meetup! On Sunday March 1, we will meet again in the city center of Utrecht. We will meet in Lebowski (a cozy bar in the shadow of the Dom Tower), without a designated area, so this Meetup will be a quite informal, unstructured event, aimed at one-on-one networking, and getting to know other (aspiring) filmmakers. This meetup provides filmmakers (writers, directors, actors, composers, cinematographers, editors, everyone..) with the opportunity to meet and network with one another, share ideas, and potentially collaborate on present or future projects, all in a relaxed and informal setting. So if you have any specific project in mind that you would like to start up and are looking for people to collaborate with, or if you want to participate in upcoming projects initiated by others, don't hesitate and join this Meetup! Come and join us for an evening of Buddhist meditation with like-minded people. The doors open at 7:00 PM, and meditation begins promptly at 7:15 PM. The meditation will last between 30 to 40 minutes, followed by tea and biscuits for anyone who would like to stay and chat. On some evenings, there will also be a short Dharma talk to provide some Buddhist context. The meditation space is down at the canal. To get there, you can take the stairs down. Join us for another board game night with FANG (Fem All Night Gaming). We are an all fem board gaming group in Columbus, Ohio. We are creating a space for people who identify as fem. No cis-men. Closer to the event we'll announce any games the admins are brining. We will always bring games, but we encourage everyone to bring any games they enjoy playing! Join us on Sunday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking! • What we'll do Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at noon on Sundays. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: 12:00 - quick intros. 12:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour. 1:10 - chat / take off / keep writing. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 1-1:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session.
