MamaRaum - mit Baby
MamaRaum.
– neue Wege gehen wollen.
– alte Muster brechen wollen, anstatt Kinder.

Wrangelkiez Photo Walk
**Please be on time. No-show is a no-go!**
After the event we can grab a coffee or some food.
The Wrangelkiez ( is a densely populated residential neighborhood in eastern Kreuzberg, located right on the border with Friedrichshain and Treptow. The area is bounded by Skalitzer Straße and Görlitzer Park, the Landwehr Canal, and the Spree River.
What we can expect:
### Urban Texture & Street Life
Wrangelkiez is densely populated, and you feel it immediately:
* Narrow streets lined with **Altbau façades**, often decorated with layers of street art
* Independent cafés, bars, and small shops spilling onto the sidewalks
* A constant flow of locals, artists, families, and visitors
For street photographers, this means **authentic, unscripted moments** everywhere—people chatting on stoops, cyclists weaving through traffic, musicians setting up in front of Spätis.
### Colors, Graffiti & Visual Chaos
The area is famous for its **vibrant graffiti**, sticker-covered poles, and murals. Perfect for:
* Texture shots
* Urban detail photography
* Contrasts between old architecture and modern subculture
### Water & Light
With both the **Landwehrkanal** and the **Spree** at its edges, the neighborhood offers softer, more atmospheric scenes:
* Golden-hour reflections on the water
* Bridges with strong geometric lines
* Quiet canal paths that contrast beautifully with the busy streets inside the Kiez

New in Berlin: Easter Monday Connections – Social Butterfly Club 🦋
Easter Monday carries a different kind of energy — somewhere between a long weekend, a fresh start, and the feeling that spring is finally here.
This Social Butterfly Club Meetup brings that energy into a relaxed Monday evening. A space to connect, share conversations, and start the week with a bit more lightness and curiosity. 🌷
There might be a few small Easter surprises hidden around — nothing too serious, just a playful excuse to look around, smile, and maybe start a conversation with someone new. 🐣
Whether you’ve spent the weekend with people, by yourself, or somewhere in between — this is a chance to step back into the city and connect.
✨ Suggested Ice Breaker Question:
“What has been a highlight of your long weekend?”

Family Estrangement Events This Week
Discover what is happening in the next few days
Filipino Community Event!
I would like to share some new things I have discovered about the history of the Filipino community in Berlin. Charlottenburg is a vibrant hub for the Filipino community in Berlin. Every Sunday at 3:30pm, you can attend holy mass in Filipino at the Heilig-Geist-Kirche (Holy Spirit Church) on Bayernallee 28. Just a short distance away, Pinoy—the city’s oldest Filipino restaurant, owned by Rosalinda Nolasco-Jecht at Danckelmannstr. 49—serves traditional home-cooked dishes like *Sinigang* and *Adobo*.
To support the Filipino community, I would like to promote an upcoming event. On April 11, Pinoy will host a special event, Kain Tayo Day, featuring Filipino street food from 12:00–4:30pm, followed by a special *Kamayan* Dinner from 5:30–7:00pm. (You can reserve your spot for the *Kamayan* Dinner [here](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd1omVLu-bY6oZvwD82akCA3iL65I9U7KlC1ZCJCtYyJ1il7A/viewform?usp=publish-editor).)
This is a perfect opportunity if you are a *Pinoy* craving Filipino food or a foreigner who has never tried it. Meetup members, shall we gather at 2:30pm for *merienda*? It will be entirely up to you if you want to avail of their dinner menu.
**Filipino Vocabulary:**
**Pinoy** refers to a native or inhabitant of the Philippines, or to something related to the country or its people. The term is a diminutive form of Filipino and is used as both a noun and an adjective.
**Sinigang** is a Filipino sour soup with a tangy broth, typically made with tamarind and simmered with pork, beef, fish, or shrimp, along with vegetables like eggplant and string beans. Some regions use other souring agents, such as guava or calamansi.
**Adobo** is typically made with pork or chicken cooked in vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, bay leaves, and black peppercorns.
**Kain tayo** means "Let's eat" in Filipino and serves as a warm invitation to share a meal, reflecting the Filipino values of hospitality, community, inclusion, and generosity.
**Kamayan** is the traditional Filipino practice of eating with the hands. The word comes from the Filipino term "kamay," meaning "hand," and this method emphasizes communal dining, often during celebrations and family gatherings.
**Merienda** in the Philippines is a traditional light meal or snack eaten between main meals, usually in the mid-morning or afternoon. Introduced during Spanish colonial times, it features both sweet and savory dishes such as kakanin, pancit, and lumpia. More than just eating, merienda is a time to socialize and take a break with family or friends.
❤️🩹 Break It Up — A Space for Broken Hearts to Mend
**Heart\-to\-Heart Conversations \| Safe Space for Healing**
Going through a breakup? You’re not alone.
Join us for a gentle gathering with others who are navigating the same emotional terrain. *Break It Up* is a safe space for real talk — people coming together to share stories, swap insights, and remind each other that healing happens one honest conversation at a time.
Whether your heart is freshly broken or still quietly aching, this meetup offers calm company, shared wisdom, and a small moment of peace in nature.
**What to Expect**
🌱 Soft landing — find your spot, settle in
💬 Open circle — introductions & your story (if you'd like to share)
🛠️ Breakup Stories — tips, resources, small rituals that helped
💗 Connection time — chat in pairs or smaller groups if you’d like
🌅 Wrap-up — closing check-in, grounding moment before we go
*This is not a therapy. If you feel you are in a severe deep emotional state, please reach out to professionals.*
**What to Bring**
* There will be a tea on the house if you feel like it
* Paper & pen (optional, for any reflections or notes)
* An open heart, even if it's in pieces
**💰 Price: 10-25 EUR. Feel free to reach out if this is too much of a barrier for you.**
**Space Boundaries**
* We meet together to create a safe space for everyone. No judgment, no advice, no pressure.
* Please make sure you are coming on time. Unfortunately, I cannot let you in if you are late.
* For the circle to function, we need a certain number of RSVP's. If not too many people are interested -- unfortunately, the gathering will be cancelled.
**🕒 Agenda**
**18:30 – 18:45**
**Arrive, Settle In & Ground**
Find the group, get comfortable, and ease into the evening.
**18:45 – 19:45**
**Introductions, Story Sharing & Breakup Lifehacks**
A gentle round of introductions for those who feel like sharing. We’ll open up space for personal stories, supportive reflections, and small tips or practices that have helped us cope, heal, or grow.
**19:45 – 20:00+**
**Outtakes & Optional Socialising**
We’ll close with an open conversation and sharing outtakes and visions. Something you heard, felt, or understood that you want to share. This is a safe space to ask for advice or reflect on the stories we have shared.
You are welcome to stay for a further chat and connection.
*(Please note that the agenda is more of a guideline, not a strict rule. As each circle is different, the flow differs as well. If the froup is too big or too small, we may go to a different flow)*

Just text me, and I will come meet you.
Lesen. Schreiben. Teilen.
**Worum geht’s?**

Neurodivergent Sharing Circle: People of Color
If you are navigating life with both being a person of color and being neurodivergent—this sharing circle is for you.
**Details**
📅 Wednesday, 8th of April 2026
🕕 18:30 - 20:30
📍 Meeting Room in BIW\*oC Rising https://maps.app.goo.gl/Y6wTvMXV4rCUkgzP8
🎟️ Free but a donation for the space is highly appreciated.
**Community disclaimer:** This circle is organized entirely by neurodivergent volunteers who contribute their time, energy, and resources to create this space. They deserve patience and kindness.
**What happens here**
* We gather. We share. We listen.
* Stimming, fidgeting, moving around, stepping out for a break, is always welcome.
* For this first event, we will try to open with a round of introductions. If you feel called to, you can share three words that represent your neurodivergent and BIPOC life.
* There is no pressure to share if you can't think of any or would rather just pass.
* After we hear the words, we can see what themes emerge and let the conversation flow from there.
* The format of this event can be changed and discussed the further we go with this sharing circle.
**This space is for you if:**
* You're a person of color—Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, mixed-race, or any marginalized racial or ethnic identity.
* You're neurodivergent—diagnosed, self-identified, questioning, or just know your brain works differently: ADHD, autistic, dyslexic, AuDHD, or any other neurotype.
**Community Agreements**
* **This is a space to heal, not to harm.**
Experiencing racism is painful and real. That pain is welcome here.
However, this is not a space to express sexist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, colorist, or any other discriminatory attitudes toward any person or group—regardless of their identity.
We all carry wounds. But those wounds do not give us permission to wound others.
* **Confidentiality:** What is shared in the circle stays in the circle. This helps us build trust.
* **No Fixing:** This is a space for sharing experiences, not for giving unsolicited advice, diagnosing others, or trying to "fix" someone. We are here to witness and support, not to problem-solve.
* **Content Warnings:** If you plan to share something that involves heavy topics like trauma, self-harm, or graphic discrimination, please give a brief warning before you start (e.g., "I'd like to share something about a difficult experience..."). This allows others to gently step out or prepare themselves.
* **Respect the Space:** Please be mindful and respectful of the venue that hosts us.
**About the Space Hosting Us**

**Hinweise**
Diese Serie ist offen für alle.
Diese Gruppe besteht aus maximal 15 Teilnehmern.

Free event with **[registration](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/einsamkeitserien1/w04-2026/)**
Loneliness can arise when people have few opportunities to experience genuine connection with others. This is where the group comes in, creating spaces in which a sense of belonging can be actively experienced. By working together on personal topics, a social space of resonance emerges that replaces isolation with relationship and contact. Through the structured sharing of experiences, loneliness becomes visible, discussable, and therefore open to change.
Through facilitated interaction, shifts in perspective, small experiments in experiencing contact, and shared reflection, participants develop new forms of connectedness and strategies for social effectiveness. The group functions not only as a source of support, but also as a learning environment for shaping relationships. In this way, resilient connections are formed that extend beyond the individual meeting and help to sustainably reduce loneliness.
**General Information**
This group consists of a maximum of 15 participants.
**Language**: This series will be held in German. This series is open to everyone. Your German should be fluent enough to follow an event in German.

At Unity of Columbus, our Youth and Family Ministry nurtures the spiritual growth of children and families through love, joy, and practical spiritual teachings. Each Sunday, children explore timeless spiritual principles through stories, creative activities, music, and group sharing in a safe and welcoming environment.
Our program encourages children to discover their own inner light, express kindness, and develop a personal connection with God. Together, we celebrate diversity, cultivate understanding, and inspire each child to live with purpose and compassion. Parents and families are invited to join in this uplifting journey of learning, laughter, and spiritual connection.
Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online
