Once a month, on the last thursday of the month we gather at the Kabooom Comic Shop to enjoy an evening full of new, old and classic board-, card- and dicegames. Join us for some great games and nice and friendly people. Most of the people speak english and german. Feel free to join us anytime. The entry fee is CHF 5.-, but you get a drink of your own choosing. If you plan to come, please do so before 20:00 O'clock, after that it's hard to find a space within a group. Wellplayed welcomes you for casual gaming at our shop. We have a selection of games available to play in store or feel free to bring one from your personal collection. **Note:** *The number of attendees shown here on Meetup might seem small, but don't worry! **Thursday Night Football is back!** Our decade-long tradition of playing Thursday night games continues at **Turnhalle Lind Nord** in Winterthur! Open to all skill levels, newcomers, as well as regular players. The cost will be CHF 10 per game or there is the option to pay for the whole year. The attendance is limited to 12 players, if the meetup list is full then please join the waitlist as we regularly have people dropping out the day of the event. **Parking** There is no parking at Lind Nord, however there is paid parking at Museumplatz 3 or Kreuzstrasse 13, both of which are about 2 min walking distance **No-shows** We ask everyone to respect others who wish to play, and that means dropping out if you know that you won't play. You are responsible for keeping your RSVP up-to-date, not the organisers. Our no-show rules: * -No-shows will pay the regular fee for that game (even if they already paid for the season) plus the fees for those that were on the waitlist (so x times the regular fee). This way, the people in the waitlist will play a future game for free, as a small consolation present. * -No-shows might loose their place to those in the waitlist the next time they sign up when there is a waitlist * -No-show cutoff time is 2 hours before event start, to give others enough time to plan in advance. So even if you cancel after 18:30, if someone could not play because of you, you are still considered a no-show **IMPORTANT:** If its your first time please also send me a message for more details. If I do not hear from you to confirm this, you might be taken off the confirmed list to make room for regulars & prevent no-shows. Korfball is a dynamic, no contact, mixed gender team sport. It pulls together aspects of netball, handball and basketball to form an unique and inclusive game. We will do some exercises, practice, play some games and have fun! :) Everyone is welcome to training, no experience required. Don't be misled by the low sign ups, our regulars don't use meet-up.
