**BGICON is back in 2026!** BGICON is the Boardgames Ireland convention. It's a day where we book a big room and play boardgames all day. Why not join us at Board for a fun night of board games and make some new friends along the way! We ask everyone to please honour the house agreement of spending €15 in the pub (or €5 for game rental if you don't want to buy anything). The staff are always very kind to us, so we ask everyone to respect this. There is a great selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks including mocktails, teas, coffees and mushroom beer. We are a group that plays Pathfinder, a tabletop RPG. We are relaunching the games in Dublin and for that we need new players like you. We will explain the rules to you and help you create your dream character. Our free-of-charge meet-up in the Black Sheep Pub on Capel Street. This is a casual meet up for people who want to play boardgames. Lots of people bring plenty of games and rules will always be explained so don't worry if you're new to the hobby and you don't have anything to bring along or think you won't know how to play. The meet-up runs for the whole day but late comers always welcome, you just may have to wait a little for a game to open up but games will be starting and ending throughout the day. **IMPORTANT!** **The meet up is free of charge but we do ask that people support the bar by buying food and/or drink. The bar is very accommodating to us and it's important that we support them in return.
