This is one of our most popular events, which has been going on for decades. Anyone is welcome to join us! No registration or membership is required to join us in this friendly atmosphere to meet new people and catch up with old friends - a great way to build a network within the greater community.

Please contact me if you want to join the class. Добрый день! This class is for learners with a level B1 or higher. We will learn Russian rock songs and do exercises and discussions based on them. We will use the book Russian rock and Russian Grammar. We will meet one time per week. Below is an information about the class. Cost: 2 students 35 chf per hour, 3 or more student 25 chf per hour per person. Class Length: 1 hour Class structure: • We read a text or a chapter from a book, discuss new words. We learn part of grammar and practice using it. • After that we discuss the topic and answer the text follow-up questions. • I also give homework tasks to make sentences with new words or do a grammar exercises. • If we finish the exercises earlier, we play word games or have a free chat. Description 呼七盘八 (Hū Qī Pán Bā) is a rhythmic breathwork method rooted in traditional Daoist breathing practice. The name refers to a specific inhale-exhale ratio pattern (exhale in 7 counts, circulate in 8) designed to stimulate the body's natural energy circulation and bring the nervous system into a state of deep rest and renewal. In this guided session, you will be introduced to the foundational breathing sequence, practiced lying or seated in a comfortable position. Many participants report a profound sense of calm, tingling warmth, or emotional release during and after the practice. No special equipment or prior breathing practice is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to be still. Play is focused on doubles with a competitive mindset and consistent rallies. You should be comfortable smashing, return smashes and keeping up a moderate tempo throughout the session. Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way.
