German Sprachcafé at Denizen! B1 to C1
**Hi everyone!**
We’ll now be meeting twice a week at Denizen House (Köpenicker Str. 40, 10179 Berlin), on **Mondays and Wednesdays**!
* **Mondays:** levels A1 to B1
* **Wednesdays:** levels B1 to C1
We work with dedicated materials tailored to each level, so everyone will have a place to practice and improve.
**Event schedule**
* **18:00 – 18:30** Arrival and registration
* **18:30 – 19:50** Sprachcafé
* **19:50 – 20:00** End and clean up
Please be aware that the moderated event starts at **18:30**. Before this time, we are busy setting up the space. Registrations usually take place around **18:15 / 18:20**. Participants are kindly asked **not to arrive too far in advance** at the house.
If someone arrives much earlier, Denizen may ask them to pay either for a drink (consumption) or for a **day pass**, as the space is a co-working environment during the day. **Please remember, our event is only happening from 18:00 to 20:00**
**How the Sprachcafé works**
We use different materials to help participants gain confidence in German. Together with whiteboards and our volunteers, the Sprachcafé is based on **interactive conversations** in small groups.
**Participation fee**
The Sprachcafé has a **participation fee of 5 €**, which helps cover organizational costs and **includes one soft drink for free**.
Tickets can be purchased directly on the day of the event, card and cash payments are accepted.
As the Sprachcafé has become very popular, we now need to **limit the number of participants**. Please understand this measure; it ensures that everyone has a comfortable space to practice.
We kindly ask you to be **rücksichtsvoll** and only RSVP “Yes” if you are certain you can attend.
If your plans change at the last minute, please update your RSVP so someone on the waiting list can take your spot.
Getting your ticket early can help secure your place.
**Please note**
Our event will begin **promptly** at the scheduled start time.
If you arrive late, we cannot guarantee your participation, even if you have a ticket or have RSVP’d. We encourage all guests to arrive on time to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
**About Denizen**
Denizen is a new-style co-working space focused on being an integral part of local communities. Located on the ground floor of the historic Eiswerk on Köpenicker Straße in Kreuzberg, Denizen House is a communal place providing work, refreshment, and recreational facilities throughout the day. Think of it as a living room for the neighborhood.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to let me know. If you’d like to contribute to this night, send me a message!

Handarbeitsgruppe/ Crochet&Knitting Group
Hallo,
Hello,
Welcome to the crochet/knitting group at Psychosoziale Initiative Moabit! We meet up every Wednesday from 2 to 4pm and all work on our creative projects. Throughout the crafting you have the space to talk and expand your community in Berlin. Everyone is welcome (even if you've never done crocheting/knitting before!!). We also have some knitting needles and yarn for you to use :)
Bring-a-Friend & Find-a-Friend" Night
**Berlin can be a tough nut to crack.**
Sometimes you have your "one person" and you’re stuck in a bubble; other times, you’re the new kid on the block looking for your crew.
This night is designed to break those bubbles and bridge the gap.
"Bringing a friend? **Amazing.** Coming solo? **Also great.** \> Whether you’re rolling with your crew or flying solo\, you’re in the right place\.
Our mission is to help you meet like-minded people and turn 'strangers' into 'Berlin besties.'

Beer 'n Mic: English stand-up at the Scottish pub!
**Neukölln's cult Scottish pub + Berlin's funniest international comedians! Every Wednesday at 8 PM!**
Missed this show?! After a month's hiatus, BEER 'N MIC is back at a new, even more spacious venue!!!
It's a match! Fresh craft beer and English comedy in one of Neukölln's coolest and most established pubs, Das Gift. Every Wednesday, come to see 8 performers from different countries, in a curated Open Mic show: some are industry veterans, some have only just begun their journey in comedy. But as we know in Germany, beer makes everyone equal. Drink, laugh, love, and well... get home safe. It's still a Wednesday, even in Neukölln.

Let's Meet Up and Practice Languages
(Inside event) Are you learning a language but can't find people to practice with? Do you enjoy helping people speak your native language? If so, meet with us to make friends and have some good conversations.
We begin by sharing the languages we speak fluently and the ones we are learning. Then we split into groups and speak! You can switch groups as often as you'd like. The goal is to speak about interesting, thought-provoking topics - not just the typical introductions we usually make.
At our last meetups we spoke: German, Ukranian, English, French, Hebrew, Russian, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Hindi, Chinese, Greek, Japanese, Turkish, Polish, Swedish, Arabic, Norwegian, Icelandic, and Dutch. Can you help us make this list bigger? We hope to see you there and welcome ANY and ALL languages. (However, we cannot guarantee we will have a speaking partner for all languages).
Looking forward to see you all! 😁

🍺 New in Town: Neukölln Social & Drinks
Moving to Berlin is an adventure, but let’s be real—the "Berlin Schnauze" (the city's famous bluntness) can be a bit intimidating, and finding your people takes time.
Whether you arrived last week or last year, if you’re looking to break out of the "expat bubble" or just find some friendly faces in your neighborhood, this is for you.
We’re gathering at **Ä Stube**, a cozy, alternative gem in the heart of Neukölln. Think dim lights, great music, and a relaxed atmosphere where you don't have to shout to be heard.
We can't wait to welcome you to the neighborhood. 🥨✨
