This is not a fitness class but a mind-body practice led by a qualified somatic therapist. Bioenergetic exercises were invented in the 1950s by a psychiatrist and therapist, Alexander Lowen, who was influenced by classical psychoanalysis but felt something was missing - the body. It reacts to stress and trauma by getting tense, even painful. We feel stiff and disconnected from our feelings, even numb. Somatic exercises are simple and designed to help you understand and regulate your feelings. As a result, you can manage stress, anxiety, or depressive mood better. Join me for the next workshop of bioenergetic exercises in Zurich! We meet in a cozy studio near Triemli station. Space is limited to 7 participants. You get 1 hour of theory, plus 2 hours of gentle exercises and group discussion. Think of it as building your own mental resilience workshop to use in moments of sadness, overwhelm, or stress. Welcome to the Competitive Play Session. This session takes place every Saturday from 10:45 to 12:15 at the Yonex Badminton Hall Hardbrücke. The number of players on the waitlist one week in advance determines the number of courts booked. If you are on the waitlist but can no longer attend, please remove yourself as early as possible. Players are accepted into the session based on skill suitability. This session is for experienced players looking for quality games. Play is focused on doubles with a competitive mindset and consistent rallies. You should be comfortable smashing, return smashes and keeping up a moderate tempo throughout the session. New players and those who are new to badminton are welcome to join the PM Session (Open Level Play). Payment can be made via TWINT after the session.

We are recruiting new group leaders for virtual men's groups! Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country. Read below to learn about our groups and click the links at the bottom to apply. ### **What is an Outdoor Empowerment Group?** Our Outdoor Movement & Community Empowerment Groups are simple, guided experiences designed to help people reconnect with nature, themselves, and others. We combine some form of movement (hike, walk, run, bike, yoga, workout) and meaningful conversation within a simple community circle to create a space where individuals can support each other while prioritizing mental and physical well-being.
