Blooms & Socials: Floral Arranging for Beginners
Blooms & Socials: Floral Arranging for Beginners
Come for the flowers. Stay for the people. **Blooms & Socials** is the very first gathering of **Her Flowers Collective** — a new community in Singapore for anyone who loves flowers, creativity, and good company. This isn't a formal class. It's a relaxed, hands-on afternoon where you'll arrange beautiful blooms, swap stories, and leave with more than just a bouquet — you'll leave with people you actually want to see again. **What to expect:** 🌿 A warm, unhurried space where no one feels out of place 🌼 Hands-on floral arranging — no experience needed, we guide you through everything 💬 Genuine conversation — we design the afternoon so you actually get to know the people next to you 📸 A group moment to remember — and something beautiful to take home **Details:** * 📍 JustCo, Level 4 — 176 Orchard Road, The Centrepoint, Singapore 238843 * 🗓 Saturday, 20 June · 2:15 PM – 4:15 PM * 👥 Intentionally small — 5 spots only * 🎟 $15 commitment fee *(fully redeemable , see below)* **🎁 Get your $15 back — here's how** Your $15 commitment fee is fully redeemable. Join us for all three free community activities happening the same week and we'll return your fee in full at the workshop: * 🌿 **Nature walk** — a slow, sensory stroll to notice what's blooming around us * 🎯 **Onboarding goal-setting** — set one simple intention for your floral journey * ☕ **Tea & flowers gathering** — an intimate catch-up over tea and fresh stems Show up to all three and Saturday's workshop is on us. Think of the $15 as a placeholder , your presence is what we're really after. (Honestly, this is worth a lot more than $15 , we're keeping it this way because it's our first and we want the right people in the room, not the most people.) *(Flower varieties may vary by season and availability)* Whether you're coming solo or with a friend ,you'll fit right in. The only thing we ask is that you show up as yourself. *See what's coming next at* **herflowers.sg/community🌺** ####

Just a small group of flower lovers, a pot of tea, and a few fresh stems on the table. **Steep & Bloom** is the most relaxed event in the Her Flowers Collective week : a free, drop-in gathering where members come together, share what they've been noticing or creating, and simply enjoy each other's company before the weekend. [CHALLENGE WALK] TWO
[CHALLENGE WALK] TWO
Hello everyone! This is a challenge walk where it is more than our usual walks of 15km and only open to people that has joined us at least thrice! The plan will only be revealed in the whatsapp group chat! The route may be modified during the walk to better suit the group’s pace and fitness levels. The organizers will make adjustments as needed to ensure the walk remains enjoyable and manageable for all participants. Do drop me a message via whatsapp or via meetup if you will be late. You may consider the following: 1\. Comfortable Clothing • Moisture-wicking fabrics: Avoid cotton, as it traps moisture and causes chafing. Instead, choose clothing made from materials like polyester, nylon, or merino wool, which keep you dry. • Comfortable socks: Opt for moisture-wicking socks with cushioning to reduce the risk of blisters. 2\. Proper Footwear • Well-fitting shoes: Ensure your shoes are properly broken in and provide enough support, especially if you're walking long distances. Sturdy hiking or walking shoes with good arch support are ideal. • Blister prevention: Consider blister-resistant socks or pack blister pads to address any discomfort before it becomes a problem. 3\. Hydration • Water bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the walk to maintain energy levels and prevent dehydration. 4\. Snacks • Energy bars or trail mix: Portable, nutrient-packed snacks high in carbohydrates and protein—perfect for refueling during breaks. • Nuts or dried fruit: Easy to carry and great for providing long-lasting energy. 5\. Umbrella • Umbrella: Bring one in case of rain to stay dry and comfortable. 6\. Optional Gear • Tissues or wet wipes: Handy for personal hygiene or cleaning your hands after eating or drinking. 7\. Small Backpack or Waist Pack • Use a small, comfortable bag to carry your essentials. Ensure it fits snugly and doesn’t rub or chafe over time. Disclaimer:
By participating in this walk, you acknowledge and accept that you are responsible for your own physical well-being. Please exercise caution while walking, and listen to your body. If you feel unwell at any point, please inform the organizer and discontinue participation. Walking involves inherent risks, including the potential for personal injury. By joining the walk, you accept these risks and agree that the event organizer(s) are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, or incidents that may occur during or as a result of your participation in the walk.
