Welcome to the Party of Fives Meetups! If you are a gamer who wants to go beyond the usual PARTY gaming fare at boardgame meetups and cafes, this is it! We don't usually play Cards against Humanity, Exploding Kittens and Unstable Unicorns. That's just us. Make us play if you can. We will be playing an assortment of board games ranging from light strategic kinds to heavy thematic ones. Games we usually play range from light ones like Azul, Splendor, Jamaica to medium ones like Yokohama, Endeavor and Nippon and of course heavy ones like Twilight Imperium, Gloomhaven, Tainted Grail and Kingdom Death Monster! Do not be surprised if you see us painting miniatures or are engaged in some sort of insanely time-consuming enhancements towards our game elements in our games. Everyone get their kick in different ways. :) Painting groups are also in their groups of fives ... For the game designers out there, just tell us that you are a creator when you see us and we will have our own private creative sessions mapped out in a feasible way. Most others don't care so we should not disturb the force unnecessarily. **For ages 4 and above.** Beginner classes will emphasize on fundamental skating techniques which will equip you with basic skills such as stopping, turning and speed control. Intermediate classes will tap onto the basics and expand the skills with diverse alternatives that will bring you to the next level of skating independently. Expert classes are for students with the bare minimum for outdoor skating and would like to take it to a higher level. There is no fixed number of classes for each level as we understand the learning rate of every individual varies. Through the practice of Aikido, individuals can develop character qualities and values such as self-confidence, discipline, respect, and a sense of care and concern for one another. The class also aims to help Practitioners to better manage stress, violence or even work-related issues with a calm, peaceful and a more harmonious approach/mind-set. We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able! Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for! Each meetup will explore different topics related to ASL/Deaf culture, and will feature time to practice conversation with one another. Just bring yourself and a willingness to learn!
