Franklin Method and Myofascial Training
Be-weekly lessons with experienced practitioner Ingrid Wenger.
We want to consciously experience movement together and give our bodies the attention they need. Everyone participates according to their abilities – together, yet each at their own pace.
We work with balls, bands, music, but above all with our imagination and lots of fun. The training is based on the Franklin Method and Karin Gurtner's Slings Myofascial Training. The goal is to increase your physical well-being and open up a new connection to your body. It's wonderful to discover that you already possess many tools within yourself to enhance your quality of life. Simple and without much effort.

Yoga for New Moms with Nadya on Tuesdays
Hello, dear Moms!
With a great pleasure I invite you to **Postnatal Yoga** classes! This is a recovery for your body, mind and soul.
With this Kundalini-inspired yoga program you can enjoy time for yourself after the birth, recharge your batteries and rebuild your pelvic floor, abdominal and back muscles. The focus of this course is specifically on the muscles that every mother needs to strengthen. The breathing exercises and meditation also help to promote healing processes and to fully settle into the motherhood.
Meditation for Men
A dedicated weekly space for men who want to ground themselves, reconnect with purpose, and strengthen their presence in order to show up in integrity in all areas of life.
**Why this matters:**
Modern life pulls men in many directions: work, family, community, and responsibilities. Meditation offers a powerful way to pause, regroup, gain clarity and clear intention with what truly matters.
**Benefits include:**
* Greater emotional balance and stress reduction
* Improved focus and clarity
* A stronger sense of inner direction and purpose
* More patience and presence with family and loved ones
* Enhanced resilience in challenging situations
* The ability to respond rather than react
* A deeper connection to self, values, and mission
**Why “questioning the mind” is essential:**
Men often carry silent expectations: to be strong, dependable, unshaken. But real strength comes from awareness, not suppression.
Meditation creates space to question the automatic patterns of the mind:
* *Is this belief truly mine?*
* *Why do I react this way?*
* *What do I actually want for my life and the people I love?*
This practice helps men break out of old conditioning, step into authenticity, and show up with integrity for themselves, their families, and their communities.
**About your facilitator:**
This space is held by Anna, healer, transformation coach, and founder of *The Powerful Self*. She has guided this work for years, blending ancient shamanic wisdom with modern spiritual psychology to support deep transformation. Anna is deeply committed to helping men live lives of long-term fulfillment, purpose, and peace. She is here to walk alongside you as you grow into your fullest, most grounded self.
**When:** Tuesdays 20:30-21:00
**Where:** Via zoom
**Contribution:** Free
**Registration is required.** Secure your spot and commit to your inner work. No prior experience needed. If you have any questions, reach out to Anna at [info@thepowerfulself.me](mailto:info@thepowerfulself.me)

Feed Peace
**About us**
Hi everyone, our names are Felix and Claudia. We are a couple who love to play acoustic guitars and sing. Our wish is to bring peace through our music and into the hearts of burdened people. Today's world is very hectic, stressful and full of worries and fears. Therefore it is good and healthy to take time off, switch off the phones, practice digital detox and to feed peace in our lives.
**About the event**
Come all you who are tired, stressed, worried, heartbroken, depressed, lonely and who carry heavy burdens and find peace through a spirit-filled musical experience. Come as you are.
We offer spiritual Christian music with two acoustic guitars and song. Afterwards we explore ways to "feed peace" in our lives over coffee and cake.
This event is open to everyone. We welcome you.

Let's talk! 🚪 April Theme: The Slammed Door
**Let's Talk! An Open Space for Parents of Teens**
**🚪 April Theme: The Slammed Door**
If you have recently stared at a closed bedroom door, wondering how your once-chatty child suddenly turned into a silent roommate (or an explosive one!), you are not alone.
Parenting teens is an adventure best traveled together.
Join us for our monthly "Let's Talk"—an informal evening designed to give you a breathing space, honest conversation, and genuine connection with other parents who get it.
**This Month's Focus: The Slammed Door**
We will dive into the withdrawal, the sudden need for intense privacy, and the delicate balance between giving your teen space and staying connected.
We will weave into the conversation some practical, Relational Leadership input on how to navigate this phase without taking it personally, and how to keep the lines of connection open even when the door is physically shut.
**What to expect:**
* **Come as you are:** It is a space to drop the mask and be real about the ups and downs of raising adolescents. All feelings and experiences are welcome here.
* **Room for free flow:** While we will anchor our evening around The Slammed Door, we are always opening the floor to whatever is alive for you right now.
* **Guided support:** We will be there to guide the conversation and offer expert input. There is zero pressure.
We are here to support you in stepping into your role as the steady leader your teen needs.
Please RSVP so we can secure the right table for our group.
👍🏼 With that said, feel free to join on short notice!
Bring your wonders, your stories, and that day's version of yourself.
Looking forward to our evening! ✨
**Where & When:**
📅 Thursday, 16.04.2026
⏰ 19:00 - 20:30

Grief Circle — Remembering Love, From Darkness to Light
Ring at A.Kapros. Doors: 15:40-16:00
**A sacred space to honor sorrow, release pain, and remember love**
At Yanantin Tribe, we open grief circles where heart, body, and spirit can meet. Inspired by ancestral traditions, we gather in community to carry what was never meant to be held alone. Here, darkness and light are both welcome — grief is not fixed or rushed, but witnessed with care.
**Tickets & Support**
This grief circle is offered freely as a community space.
If you wish to support the continuation of these circles, you can choose the Support Ticket — CHF 25 via Eventfrog.

A grief ritual is a communal gathering where sorrow is given space and form. We welcome all expressions of grief: personal loss, heartbreak, ancestral wounds, collective pain, or a quiet heaviness without a clear name. Through music, song, rhythm, movement, silence, and guided ritual, grief softens and reveals the love beneath it.
**Bring: comfortable clothes, water bottle and your own cup for tea, curiosity**
**The experience**
* Enter a safe, held circle where all emotions are welcome
* You may share, move, cry, sing, or remain silent — no pressure to speak
* Place a personal item, photo, or symbol on a shared altar (optional)
* Move through ritual practices that allow grief to be witnessed and released
* Close with grounding and gentle integration so you leave supported
**Why this circle matters**
* Release unspoken or long-held grief
* Be held without advice or fixing
* Honor both sorrow and love
* Heal personal, ancestral, and collective layers
*
**Practical info**
* Held every two weeks on Sundays
* Free to attend as a community offering
* Donations welcome to support the continuation of these circles (entirely optional)
* Bring: a token, photo, or personal item for the altar (optional)
* Wear: comfortable clothing
* Note: if you are in acute crisis or experiencing significant mental health challenges, please inform us so we can support you best
* Impressions of past events: [https://yanantintribe.com/events-gallery/](https://yanantintribe.com/events-gallery/)
**Additional support**
András offers 1:1 grief support, death & dying accompaniment, and end-of-life presence alongside this community work:
This is not therapy. It is a facilitated ritual space rooted in consent, presence, and care.
Come exactly as you are.
You do not have to carry everything alone.
**Personal Support & 1:1 Work with András**
If you’re going through a period of transition, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, or feeling stuck, I offer **free 30-min Exploration Calls** to help you gain clarity and see if deeper 1:1 work is right for you.

Raising Conscious Kids – A Unity Family Experience
At Unity of Columbus, our Youth and Family Ministry nurtures the spiritual growth of children and families through love, joy, and practical spiritual teachings. Each Sunday, children explore timeless spiritual principles through stories, creative activities, music, and group sharing in a safe and welcoming environment.
Our program encourages children to discover their own inner light, express kindness, and develop a personal connection with God. Together, we celebrate diversity, cultivate understanding, and inspire each child to live with purpose and compassion. Parents and families are invited to join in this uplifting journey of learning, laughter, and spiritual connection.

COUNT monthly event: Kitchen service at Van Buren Center's shelter
Come assist Van Buren Shelter (https://ymcacolumbus.org/locations/vanburen) staff in serving dinners and cleaning up on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Dinner for the women is 5-6 pm and for the families is 6:15-7:15 pm. There is ample free parking available in the shelter's lot. The recommended area to park is in green in the image above.
There will be a new entrance for the time being. We are asking all volunteers to enter through the Donation Dock door, the orange mark on the image above. This door is located between the Single Adults and Family Shelter. You will see 2 large garage doors with a large green trash compactor in the center. Please head to the closest garage door to the building wall, with a ramp leading up. There, you will see a door with a sign stating instructions on how to enter the building. Please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will come and escort you into the building. If a staff member takes longer than 5 minutes, please call the front desk at 614-689-2020. This is a new process for us, and we do not want to keep you waiting! We appreciate your patience as we navigate this temporary change.
The shelter needs a volunteer count the day before the event so sign-up ends Monday at 4:50 PM. Afterwards some of us go to the Omnipresent Atheists Weekly Meetup in progress to have a bit to eat or drink (http://www.meetup.com/omnipresentatheists/).
Volunteers must be 14 or older. Since we will be working around families, the YMCA does not permit volunteering by individuals with convictions for violent or sexual crimes. The YMCA reserves the right to run background checks on volunteers.
For questions, comment on this page or contact: Andrew, awhit12@yahoo.com, (614)937-5802 (cell). Please let Andrew know if you volunteer anytime other than our COUNT events so that he can count your hours toward our service record.
