Zurich's funniest, coolest pub quiz is back ! Zurich Together.... We know you can drink. We know you can party. But how smart are you ? This is a unique Pub Quiz for people who don't like Pub Quizzes ! The questions are \*fun\*, and I really try to make sure all teams have the same chance of winning. Have a look at the Meetup images to see some of the previous questions I've set. These are not your boring typical "How many bones are there in the human body?" questions ! Lady Hamiltons has air conditioning, unlimited Chicken Wings for 20 CHF and a Happy Hour on drinks (5.50 CHF for a 5 dl beer !!) until 7.30pm. We usual get loads of newcomers, lots of cool people, and when you arrive, I make sure everyone gets added to a team, so it's really easy way to meet others in our group. Most of our members come along alone, and I'll make sure you are added to one of the quiz teams. It's fun, free to join, you'll meet cool people, and you'll get to debate about whether Moscow really is a city in Europe, and try to remember Nicholas Cage movie names from the 1980s. What's not to like ? The quiz starts at 7.30pm, but I recommend getting there around 7pm, so you can meet the others, find a team, and make the most out of the Happy Hour prices! There are voucher prizes for the three best teams, which can be spent at Lady Hamiltons. 1st prize: 150 CHF voucher 2nd prize: 100 CHF voucher 3rd prize: 50 CHF voucher Maximum participants per team: 6. Fabian will guide us through the development of this book, discussing research challenges and design decisions encountered in visualizing Switzerland's mountain landscapes. In einer coolen Gruppe immer wieder neue Trails entdecken und die jeweils spektakuläre Aussicht auf die Leuchtstadt Luzern aus den unterschiedlichsten Perspektiven geniessen. In 90-120 Minuten versuchen wir mit einem Maximum an Fun die jeweiligen 500 – 1’000 Höhenmeter zu bewältigen. Das gemeinsame Erlebnis steht ganz klar im Vordergrund. Just when you thought you could stash the thermal leggings and show some skin - surprise! Winter took one look at your pasty knees and decided to cum again... This week’s trail promises the full Game of Thrones experience: cold winds, possible snow, and the vague sense that nobody will survive past the beer stop. Hares have bravely marked a scenic route through what used to be “springtime” but now promises to be full of that white sticky stuff we all love. Expect shiggy, frozen fingers, and the chance to reflect on your life choices while wondering if hot mulled wine counts as a balanced electrolyte replacement. Circle will be in the Platz next to Wipkingen Bahnhof and on-after will be Gelateria di Berna. **Where**: Wipkingen Bahnhof Mobility car **When:** We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm. There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards. **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards. **Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.* We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups.
