As a new yoga teacher, I’m excited to share the practice of stretching and Hatha Yoga with others, guiding you through mindful breath and purposeful movement. We’ll explore foundational poses, gentle alignment, and slow, steady stretches that honor your body's limits while inviting greater flexibility and balance. My intention is to create a supportive space where we practice together, learn from each other, and cultivate calm, focus, and presence both on and off the mat. Whether you’re new to yoga or returning after a pause, we’ll move at a comfortable pace, listen to our bodies, and celebrate small progress as we grow. Our wellness togetherness remains a priority: this year-end outing combines forest yoga, a relaxed picnic, and a gentle hike to the Peak, followed by festive photoshoots. We’ll approach the day with mindfulness for ourselves and our community. To help the photos shine, please consider the following dress suggestions: * Red Santa hat * Black leggings or sports pants * Red top (red sports bra, tank top, or T-shirt—comfortable for yoga and not too thick) If you’re planning to carry a bag, a backpack is preferred for the hike rather than a tote. Itinerary of the day: * Meet at Sai Ying Pun Station Exit C (street level) at 10:00 a.m. sharp * Short, mindful hike to Pinewood Battery for yoga and a picnic * Forest yoga for about 1 hour (target start around 11:00 a.m.) * Environment-friendly picnic * Optional hike up to the Peak and continue to High West for the view, then a scenic Lugard Road stroll * Return to Central; if energy and mood allow, optional coffee or a social gathering afterward The event is free to join. This is a free, in-person meeting on the subject of betrayals, losses and how to get over them so you can build lasting relationships. Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse. Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well. Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.
