š The third eye š
**š The third eye š**
ā*Opening the third eyeā means integrating the right and the left. It means bringing together the judgement and discrimination which characterizes the left side with the openness and access to the intuitive world that characterizes the right. It means putting an end both to dry, sterile intellectualization as well as to superstition and āhunches.ā It means bringing together these two partial, inaccurate ways of knowledge into an integrated whole that is more profound and penetrating.*ā (Swami Rama)
**The third eye is a legend - from the (infamous) tales of Lobsang T. Rampa protecting the Dalai Lama by means of clairvoyance - through the mental control centre from the yogic tradition - the myth of how Shiva burned down the God of Love Kama Deva with his third eye - to the stages of awakening and the relationship between heart and mind.**
**Letās share for an afternoon about what the third eye is, and how our practice, our aspirations and experiences might relate to it.**
ā*When Ma* [the Goddess Tara] *kisses you, though, She will kiss you on your forehead at the location of your third eye, which She causes to open. This is the kiss of enlightenment, the kiss of true Motherhood, and the day Ma gives you this kiss you become filled with Her Divine Intelligence.*ā (Vimalananda)
š« **What this event offers for you:**
* Guided Meditations for arriving, calming the mind and tuning into your intuition
* Meeting people interested in spirituality (all levels)
* Safe Space for sharing - non-hierarchical and non-judgemental
* Opportunity to ask just about any question
**š You may watch one or few of the following Videos for inspiration:**

**š§ About the Organizer**
Martin is a certified Mindfulness Teacher, Systemic Coach, Yogi and Altruist by heart who teaches Meditation and Martial Arts in different formats. However, in this meetup Martin focuses on the altruistic intention to open a space for people to share while offering as much facilitation as needed in the moment.
ā*Trataka is a form of meditation in which one stares fixedly at an object. If done properly trataka can open the third eye. In Treta Yuga people use trataka to obtain prana from the sun; they eat with their eyes. They communicate with glances and make romance with significant looks. This ability exists together with telepathy, which is only possible after the third eye is opened.*ā (Vimalananda)

SU&W In-person Mitte
Come along, grab a coffee, shut up, and write! We will do at least two sessions of each 45 minutes of writing and two breaks. We will start the first writing session at 11:15.
**For space reasons, we are limited to a certain number of attendees, so please update your RSVP if you can't come**. We often have a large waiting list, and not updating your RSVP or not showing up if you do RSVP yes means that others miss out. We also ask that if you do change your RSVP, do it with reasonable notice. Thanks! We typically take over all of the cafe, but try to share tables if you can to allow space for other customers.
If you are new, come and say hello, as we know that suddenly going quiet for 45 minutes and staring at that blank page can be intimidating when it's your first time. We have a lot of long-term regulars who will be happy to help you feel welcome.
In between sessions, we have a Telegram chat: https://t.me/joinchat/ERW3pxD5kfELGeWs9SUhjw

Coffee with Jung: Tea Time for Tarot
Close your eyes. Reach out your hand. Pick four cards. Hand them to the reader. As the reader turns each card, curious symbols are revealed: The King. The Devil. The Hanged man. For each person the cards, and their combination confess a complex inner reality.
Cartomancy goes back centures in recorded history. The Carte da Trionfi date to the 1400s. The Tarocchi or Taro date to the 1500s. Yet, the true history of what is know today as Tarot, is buried in the teeth of time.
Whatever the cards are called, Jung and many of his students recognised that Tarot can bring out depths of the psyche in surprising ways. In this session, we will explore the Tarot and its relation to Jungian psychology. The session will be facilitated with the help of Jasmin Pront, a professional Tarot card reader. You can find more about Jasmin and her work at https://www.tarotbyjasmin.de/.

This 2-hour womenās circle is designed to gently soften those frozen places ā in the body, the heart, and the nervous system.

Tea ceremony & Slow Flow
Spring is arriving, and weāre welcoming it gently on March 1st with a special event at Art.OM - Tea ceremony & Slow Flow.
We begin with a 30-minute guided tasting of teas from Darjeeling region, led by Swikriti, exploring aroma, warmth, and subtle layers. While the name Darjeeling is celebrated worldwide, the farmers behind these hills are often overlooked. Small local growers continue to preserve traditional craftsmanship, and sharing their teas is a way to support them with intention and care.
From this grounded space, we move into a 1-hour slow flow yoga practice guided by Mia. The sequence links breath with gentle movement, inviting warmth, softness, and awareness. Through taste and movement, we cultivate presence - a quiet connection between body, senses, and intention.
