On se rencontre chaque mercredi pour parler français. Parmi nous, il y a des gens qui ont le français comme langue maternelle, et des gens qui aiment le français et le maîtrisent plus ou moins. On aime discuter et parler de tout et de rien, et on est toujours content de recevoir des gens qui sont de passage ou des nouvelles personnes qui veulent écouter, parler, pratiquer ou poser des questions. Cette semaine, on retourne au Café Merkur, Café sympa et calme avec une cuisine de mediteranée orientale. La table est toujours gérée d'une façon très libre et relaxée, on se rencontre et on parle aux autres participants et participantes autour de nous. NOTE: Si vous comptez venir, inscrivez-vous s'il vous plaît, pour qu'on puisse prévoir assez (mais pas trop non plus) d'espace au restaurant. Comme ça, on sera à l'aise et l'endroit qui nous accueille aussi. On commence à 18h30 , mais ce n'est pas un problème de rejoindre après. **What is Innate Dance?** Innate Dance is a joyful approach to movement, which invites deeper embodiment and self-connection through butoh inspired movement, Noguchi Taiso exercises, the Seki Method, somatic attention and imagination. We shake it out, breaking up stuck energy held in the body, and explore new movement possibilities from a place of alignment and sensitivity. Thanks to our open awareness we can be surprised by lesser-known parts of ourselves and come to appreciate our innate wisdom in movement. Through exercises, explorations and improvisations we build trust in the body that knows how it would like to move and express itself, and when we follow our innate dance, it just feels good! Sometimes this learning involves physically embodying non-humans like trees, fish and wind, so we can get out of our limited-human-thinking-mind and into the bigger wisdom available through imagination and our body. At other times it's about dancing textures, sensations or taking on the energy of parts of ourselves so we can know them better. Jess has danced all her life and has been exploring butoh dance for the past eleven years alongside her psychotherapeutic practice. She is co-author of *The Seki Method - Basics* (now available to buy online via website), is a Seki Method Facilitator, and was a 2024 student at the Im_Flieger Schule researching dance and healing.

We are pleased to welcome Katrina Brock from Max Planck Society to present an R package for analyzing animal movement data. Join us to explore how R can be put to work in animal behaviour research. **Travel Paths: Bridging the usability gap in open source animal movement algorithms** The behavior ecology literature offers a rich library of approaches for finding patterns in animal movement data. While many of the biologists developing these algorithms publish their code, it is rarely optimized for reuse. Even well-designed packages with similar workflows have different interfaces that potential users need to learn one by one. By wrapping these algorithms in a standardized interface, the “Travel Paths” framework reduces researcher toil. Instead of digging through scripts and learning disparate conventions, they can run many methods with just a few functions. The framework is composed of two packages: the trackframe package provides a flexible and interoperable format for input data while the travelpaths package, taking inspiration from parsnip, offers the interface for movement models. In this talk, we’ll discuss how we designed this framework and how it can be leveraged to enable even novice R users to apply a variety of methods to their animal movement data.
