Saturday Morning Coffee - 10:00 @MIR Concept Coffee Store
Saturday Morning Coffee - 10:00 @MIR Concept Coffee Store
Hi everyone, This coffee morning event is @MIR Concept Coffee Store! Saturday, 21 March 2026, from 10:00 - 13:00. MIR opened its doors about 4 years ago, right off Place Jourdan. Doriana, the owner, is a super nice host, and is excited to have our group as her café. The café is very beautiful and has great coffee, and many yummy food options. Their Instagram channel: https://www.instagram.com/mirconceptstore/ **The address is:** MIR Concept Coffee Store Rue Gray 4A 1040 Etterbeek *** 1. The **prime time** of the event is **10:30 - 12:30**. That's when most people will be there. 2. When you enter the gallery, it's either on the right-hand side or left-hand side of its hallway, depending which entrance you take. 3. If you intend **to join past 12:00** (high noon), then there is no need to register. Just come and join! 4. **DON'T forget to cancel** if you can't join! 5. **Please, be respectful towards each other during the event. (And after ;))** **As always, feel free to follow us on INSTAGRAM!** [https://instagram.com/weekendmorningcoffee?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA==](https://instagram.com/weekendmorningcoffee?igshid=OGQ5ZDc2ODk2ZA==) **THE STRUCTURE of THE EVENT:** * I will post the event on Saturday/Sunday evening for the following Saturday. * I send out a reminder to everyone on Friday. * There is sometimes a waiting list. * In case RSVP is closed (once there are 10-15 people on the waiting list), I might reopen it on Friday, depending on the number of cancellations in the meantime. * **For everyone on the waiting,** please check your status and messages on Friday evening the latest. I message everyone on the waiting list on Friday. * **Please, move to "not going" AS SOON AS you know that you can't come anymore, that includes everyone who is on the waiting list.** **IMPORTANT:** * **Please, be respectful towards each other during the event. (And after ;))** * When you register yourself, be careful not to register accidentally a +1 guest (unless you bring a guest). It happens very often. * If you have any questions then, message me. *** **A MESSAGE FOR NEWCOMERS:** *In the three years of hosting this coffee group, I have met many people who struggle with anxieties when coming to an event for the first time. Sometimes, it took them more than one attempt before being able to join.* *Occasionally, people reach out to me before the event, and I have always been grateful for that as it offers the opportunity to communicate with each other and to find the best and most gentle way for that person to join the group.* *I would like to encourage everyone who struggles with this to contact me before. It would really be too bad if you can't join us, as it mostly gets better the second or third time you come.* *In addition to that, if you arrive and notice any signs of nervousness or fear, you can always let me know right then.* **THANK YOU AND SEE YOU ALL ON Saturday!**

Ostende - Blankenberge (23 km)
Ostende - Blankenberge (23 km)
The forecast promises a sunny weekend, so let's do the first costal hike for the year! We will start in Ostende by crossing over to the other side of the harbour by ferry, and will follow the coast all the way to Blankenberge. For a bit of change of scenery, we will move further inlands to walk a bit through dunes and forest, mostly following the coastal GR. Arriving in Blankenberge we have all possibilities for a final drink and/or an ice cream. As the number of participants is limited, it is important that you manage your registration responsibly: only sign up if you really intend to come and cancel as soon as you know you can’t (this also goes for people on the waiting list!). We will try to keep close to an average speed of about 4.5 km/h. We will walk mainly on unpaved roads. I’ve not tested this track beforehand, so it’s possible that there are some mistakes in the planning (i.e. it may become longer ;-). ●●You can find the gpx track here: wikiloc: https://www.wikiloc.com/hiking-trails/von-ostende-nach-blankenberge-254912684 komoot: https://www.komoot.com/de-de/tour/2833885300?share_token=a8gh7IeEm29M43zZyAt3U9VjPK48uhe3cG6xBeeUgeFlD8XPi8&ref=wtd ●●Meeting point: We meet at 08h40 in Gare Central train station in front of Starbucks. Our train (IC 530 to Ostende) leaves from platform 2 at 09.56 and arrives in Ostende at 10.15. ●● Train tickets: BXL-Oostende 14.90€or 9€ with train+, Blankenberge- BXL 14.40€ or 8.60€ with train+ ●● Trains back to Brussels: Trains back from Blankenberge every hour at XX.56. ●● Specifics: Distance: 23 km Elevation gain: up a dune or two Net walking time: \~ 5,5 h Weather forecast: sunny! In the unlikely case of too bad weather, we may cancel a hike, even few hours before the event. If this must happen, we will of course update the Meetup website and send out an email to those registered. So it is important to have access to either the Meetup.com website and/or your emails. ●● What to bring: * Comfortable hiking clothes &shoes * water + food for the breaks * Compeed for blisters * some small money for drinks ●● Basic rules: Please RSVP only if you really intend to come. And if your plans change, update your RSVP asap, even hours before the walk. This is basic courtesy towards others. Repeated late cancellations are not well considered (at all). No-shows are even worse. Do not show up for a hike unless you are on the “going” list. ●● Acknowledgement of member responsibility and release of liability: You are responsible for yourself and should be fit enough if you want to take part. As the participation in the events is strictly voluntary and you freely choose to join, it is the responsibility of individuals participating to ensure that they are fit enough and have adequate coverage to protect themselves. By signing up for this event, you agree to release the organisers from any responsibility and liability.

That they’re “for later.”That you can’t touch them. That real estate and retirement money don’t mix. They’re wrong. This meetup is about how investors use **Self-Directed IRAs and Solo 401(k)s** to put retirement capital to work…**buying real estate, funding deals, and even raising private money** (the right way). ### **Featured Guest Speaker: Amanda Holbrook** We’re excited to welcome **Amanda Holbrook of Specialized Trust Company** to break this down clearly and practically…so you understand what’s allowed, how it works, and what to avoid. ### **What You’ll Learn** Amanda will walk through: **Flip inside a Self-Directed IRA or Solo-401(k)** * How to structure the deal correctly * How expenses must be handled * When UBIT may apply **Wholesale within a retirement account** * How assignments work * What type of income it creates **Use OPM (Other People’s Money) to scale** * How investors raise private money from Self-Directed IRAs * How to structure notes properly * How to fund deals inside **and** outside your own retirement account ### **The Core Idea** There is a lot of capital sitting in retirement accounts. This session shows you how real estate investors unlock it **without guessing, winging it, or accidentally creating a compliance mess.** ### **Who This Event Is For** * Investors flipping or wholesaling who want to understand self-directed rules * Anyone raising private money (or wanting more capital sources) * People with retirement funds who want them working harder than stocks/mutual funds ### **Event Details** **Location:** Ohio Brewing Company – 421 E 2nd Ave, Columbus, OH 43201 **Date & Time:** Thursday, March 26th, 6–8 PM *(Doors open at 5:30)* **Cost:** Free *(Seats are limited — RSVP required)* **Food:** Free food included **FREE meetup.
