Prix libre. Suggéré : 10€.

Lost of merchandise used to be transported on Canal de l'Ourcq and that's how several industrial buildings were created nearby. Our walk, next to and close by the canal, will let us discover some of these buildings that used to be used by industrial companies and now host art exhibitions.
Lots of things to see and places with a rich past, so lots of reasons to come.
We'll start in front of the Pantin RER station and we'll end not far from the Raymond Queneau metro station (L5).
It should take us 3 hours. Pay as you feel. I suggest 10€.
Life Drawing Session 445 (female) GUY MÔQUET - Long pose
Join us for a long pose workshop with a female model, led by figurative artist John Kelly. The session consists of 45 minutes of drawing or painting, followed by a 15-minute break, and then another 45 minutes with the same pose. John will be present throughout the entire session to offer individual guidance on the principles of drawing and painting from life. If you prefer a more self-directed approach, you are welcome to work independently at any time.
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and more experienced artists. It offers a supportive environment to develop your artistic style while exploring different aspects of academic drawing or painting, experimenting with new techniques, or refining compositional ideas. It's designed to guide your exploration of the human form through an anatomical lens while capturing the model's emotional presence.
As always, posing for you are professional fine art models affiliated with the Beaux-Arts de Paris and other Parisian life drawing ateliers. Please bring your preferred art materials.
All media are allowed, including pastels, ink, watercolor, or paint. If you need additional advice on materials, such as oil paints or watercolor paper, please don’t hesitate to contact John directly at jfkellydesign@gmail.com or send us a message. This session doesn't provide a basic drawing materials set. Once again, please remember to bring your own art supplies.
**About John Kelly**
Born in Paris and raised in New York, John studied at the School of Visual Arts before pursuing a career as an art director and oil painter. He employs traditional oil painting methods while also painting *alla prima*. Influenced by Balthus, Degas, and traditional Japanese prints, his figurative work explores the psychology of the model and the viewer’s gaze. For more details, visit John’s website: johnkellyart.com.
We kindly ask everyone to RSVP to secure their spot. If you haven't booked, we reserve the right to deny participation if the session is full. Hello,
I want to share the passion I have for watercolor with people who want an initiation of this fantastic and peaceful art.
The purpose is to learn the basic technical skill but the main part is to find its own style of pouring the colour into a nice time around cakes and coffees (or tea).
The session costs 22€.
I can invite you in my personal workshop in Vincennes (métro 1 or rer A) for 2h of creativity. All watercolor supplies is provided, just bring your smile :)

\- Richard fera une présentation de J\.W\. von Goethedonner du contexte à nos échanges ainsi que le focus sur l'oeuvre soit "Faust" ;
PS : la cotisation est toujours de 2 euros par personne et par an (frais d'organisation Meetup);

This month we will be discussing **Frank Santoro**, an American cartoonist, painter, and comics critic known for his expressive lines, experimental page layouts, and vibrant use of color. His graphic novels—including *Storeyville*, *Pompeii*, and *Pittsburgh*—blend personal storytelling with innovative visual structure, often exploring memory, place, and relationships. In addition to his comics, Santoro has been an influential voice in comics education and criticism, co-founding the magazine *ComicsComics* and creating the **Santoro Correspondence Course for Comic Book Makers**, which has helped train and inspire a new generation of cartoonists.
Afterwards, we will have time to work on our individual art projects, hang out, and if anyone is interested in feedback on their work, there will be time for that as well.

Click the little TICKETS box then click BUY TICKETS. 3. If you are a Drexel Member, you can log in here to receive the Member/Group rate, which is the same. If you are not a Drexel member, click “No” and the $40 Rate will pop up. But, don’t fret. It’s a little hard to find but there’s a “Promotion Code” section on the screen. Select the appropriate number of tickets in the Discount Rate section and click “Add.” Next “Proceed to Checkout” then “Checkout” and enter your credit card info. There’s a $1.50 online service fee but it’ll save you a trip to the Drexel. (If you don’t already have one, you will need to sign in or create an account first.) DRESS: Dressing up for the occasion art of part of the fun! Dress up as much as you like – there will be everything from casual to formal at the event! Or you can go in character as one of this year’s nominated films!
ARRIVAL: Doors open for CMG at 5:30pm so that’s when we’ll plan to meet! That’ll give us plenty of time to fill out our Oscar Ballots, pick up some free popcorn, candy, and something to drink, mix, mingle, take some photos, pick up your Newfangled Kitchen Meal Deal, grab a seat in our CMG Reserved Section, then settle in to enjoy the Academy Awards on the Big Screen!
PICTURES: We’ll take pics throughout the evening and the Drexel Paparazzi will be on hand as well. We’ll also take a big group photo around 6:40 near the entrance before the show begins. If you happen to take some good shots yourself, be sure to upload them on the Oscar Party Meetup event!
RESERVED SEATING: As you enter the theater, the roped off section to the right marked “Reserved” is reserved for you, your guest(s) and the Columbus Movie Group!
VEGAN MEALS: As previously mentioned, the food vendor does NOT have a vegan option at this year’s Oscar Party. However, we DO have a solution! I have reached out to several individuals who are affected. If you are a vegan, plan to attend the Oscar Party and did not receive an e-mail from me, please reach out via private message post a note below. I’ll provide details off-line.
And while there won’t be a vegan meal option this year, I think we do have a workable solution. And, all other plans are usiness-as-usual: popcorn, sodas, candy, on-site paparazzi, decorations, bar drinks (including your first drink on the house), the Drexel’s Annual Oscar ballot contest, along with the Big Show on the Big Screen and a fun group of Movie Group friends to watch ‘em with!
