Monty Python’s Life of Brian (Život Briana) on Monday 27.4 at 19.30 at Kino Mat
Hi everyone!
Please join us on **Monday, April 27th**, for a screening of **Monty Python’s [Life of Brian (Život Briana)](https://www.mat.cz/kino/cz/kino-mat?movie-id=8267_zivot-briana)** at [Kino Mat](https://www.mat.cz/kino/). The film begins at **20:00**.
You’ll find me (wearing a bright pink/flowery scarf) at the Kino Mat café from **19:30**.
The 1979 satirical comedy is written by, and stars, the British comedy troupe Monty Python. The movie tells the story of ‘Brian, an ordinary Judean who goes on to live an extraordinary life, becoming entangled in a plot to overthrow the Roman empire and being mistaken for the Messiah, among other unlikely events’ ([here](https://www.criterion.com/films/606-monty-python-s-life-of-brian?srsltid=AfmBOorsHywaaXfIhiiQi7OaXhEsab4awuyJNfDK7w6GOHRhMJh9sNYf)).
Come enjoy this screening and stay for a drink and a chat about the film afterward!
If you’d like to join us, please **purchase your own ticket [here](https://www.mat.cz/kino/cz/kino-mat?movie-id=8267_zivot-briana)**. I will be sitting in row 4, seat 5.
Kind request: if you register to attend but are unable to join, please change your RSVP accordingly.
Hope to see you there!
English Conversation (Bohnice, Praha 8)
Hi all! My name is Cara, and I am a native English speaker from America living in Prague. This a meet up for t**hose learning English as a second language** and want the **opportunity to practice**. It will be a fun and relaxed setting where we will play games to **promote English conversations** or have some kind of activity. This club will meet **every other (two Mondays each month) Monday evening.** The goal is for each person to walk away having learned new English words and have more confidence when speaking in English.
Please, bring some money if you want to purchase a coffee from Evento.
**This event is sponsored by a church.** The church that sponsors this English meet up is **Církev bratrská, Bohnice** [https://www.cbbohnice.cz](https://www.cbbohnice.cz/) . We want to live lives that are reflective of Jesus. Like Jesus we want to help others in meeting a practical need, in this case that would be speaking in English. At the end of the English club, we will extend an invite to anyone who is interested in exploring faith, wants to know more about Jesus, or wants to meet up to read from the Bible. However, we will never trick you into attending and will always be honest about the content of our meetings. *You do not have to attend religious events to be a part of English Club.*
Czech Co-Learning Session 🇨🇿
Learning Czech can be hard and demotivating, especially when studying alone.
**This meetup is a shared study session where we come together to stay focused, motivated, and make progress — each in our own way.**
This is a co-learning / co-studying session, not a class. There is no teacher, no lesson, and no study material provided.
Everyone comes with their own resources and studies independently, in a shared environment.
🧠 **How it works**
• We all bring our own material:
• textbooks
• homework from a Czech course
• Duolingo or other apps
• reading practice
• vocabulary review, etc.
• We mainly work individually
• We are free to:
• ask questions
• help each other
• share tips and resources
• No teacher, no formal structure, no pressure
👥 **Who is it for?**
• Czech learners of all levels
• Non-Czech speakers (expats, internationals)
• Czech native speakers are welcome if they want to help, but this is not a language exchange
⏱ **Practical info**
• Location: Cafedu
12, Škrétova 490, 120 00 Praha 2
(Metro A and C, Muzeum station)
• Duration: 2 hours, or less or more, as you want
• Day & time: Monday, 18:00
• Group size: small group for now
• Free event — please support the café by ordering a drink ☕
If you’re learning Czech and lack motivation when studying alone, come join us — let’s find it together 🙂

For any questions, please contact us at info@freewalkingtourprague.eu. Unfortunately, the meetup application does not always send us phone notifications.
Reminder - only people who booked on our [official free walking tour website](https://freewalkingtourprague.eu/en/schedule) can join the tour and if the tour shows fully booked on the website it means there are no free spots. The meetup list doesn't count in this case.

* Jak správně stavět a formulovat instrukce pro agenty.
* Nastavení a orchestraci agentů v rámci Playwright, TypeScript a Node.js.
* Připojení MCP (Model Context Protocol) pro integraci s prohlížečem a GitHubem.
* **Hlavní cíl:** Zkusíme otestovat běžící aplikaci čistě jen pomocí AI agentů!
Meetup bude probíhat formou praktického workshopu.
Pokud si budete chtít vše vyzkoušet s námi přímo na vašem počítači, nainstalujte si prosím:
* [Node.js,](https://nodejs.org/en)
* Playwright (TypeScript) dle oficiální dokumentace
* a připravte si aktivní GitHub účet (ideálně s přístupem ke GitHub Copilot).

COUNT RMH Housewarmer Volunteering (Ronald McDonald House)
Some trained COUNT volunteers work together once a month at RMH (http://www.rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer.php) as Housewarmers (usually on the 1st Sunday from 1 – 5 PM). Some schedule other shifts at their convenience. You may try this out with less fuss by following a "Fast track" or go through the normal process.
Fast track
• Arrange a time to shadow a COUNT volunteer. Call Dave Nohle at 614-268-9558 (cell).
• Show up and try it out.
• Complete application, etc. later.
Normal process
• Complete an online application (http://rmhc-centralohio.org/volunteer/).
• Attend orientation in advance.
• At orientation you will complete forms agreeing to keep family/patient info private and allowing a background check and tour the facility.
• Complete one training shift. Daily shifts are: morning 9 AM - 1 PM, afternoon 1 - 5 PM and evening 5 - 9 PM.
• Schedule shifts online using the on the RMH scheduling system (http://www.volgistics.com/ex/portal.dll/?FROM=32895).
The Ronald McDonald House (RMH) provides housing and meals for families with sick children. The Columbus RMH is the largest in the world with 137 rooms. COUNT has been volunteering there since May 2014.
Housewarmers work with RMH guests to provide a home-like environment - greet, assist with family needs, answer phones, give tours, assist with checkin/checkout, prepare guest rooms after checkout, clean facility, laundry, restock supplies and staff the front desk. RMH Housewarmers volunteer at least one four-hour shift a month. All Housewarmers must complete an application and agree to a background check before they can be full fledged volunteers.
