Freies Training für alle Leistungs- und Altersklassen im Sportcenter Wittenau. Unabhängig ob über meetup Spieler angemeldet sind, vom Verein ist eigentlich immer jemand vor Ort.
Wenn du an der Anlage ankommst, frag einfach am Counter nach dem Training des 1. SCB und Sebastian, Stefan oder Korbinian. Anschließend findest du einen von uns in oder vor einem unserer Courts (2-5).
Nach dem Sport gibt es die Möglichkeit in die Sauna zu gehen und entspannt ein wohlverdientes Getränk an der Bar zu nehmen. Somit sollten alle Bedürfnisse gedeckt sein, die einen perfekten Squashabend ausmachen.

Free play for all abilities and age groups in the Wittenau sports center. Independent if someone has signed up via meetup, there is usually always some around of our squash club.
Once you arrive at the venue, just ask at the counter about the training of the 1. SCB and Sebastian, Stefan or Korbinian. You will then find one of us in or in front of one of our Courts (2-5).
After the sport, you can go to the sauna and have a cold drink at the bar. So everything should be set for a perfect squash session. We hope to see you soon on and beside the court in our beautiful venue.

Vinyasa Flow in Mitte / Wedding
These vinyasa classes are positively dynamic, soft and strong as silk, always connecting to the deep, guiding you gently to the awareness of your breath to calm the mind and release the body of unnecessary tension.
Modifications of the poses are offered to better suit each practitioner, from experienced beginners to advanced. Taping into a background of cultural diversity, dance and massage therapy, these sessions are a holistic practice with asanas, free form movement, music, voice, and silence.
Each month the classes have a specific focus (i.e. twists, balance, resilience, chakras) to effectively process and develop the connection between mind, body, and spirit.

Vinyasa Yoga ist gezeichnet durch fließende Bewegungen und Sequenzen von Asanas die bewusst in Verbindung mit der Atmung stehen. Die Mittwochabend Klassen sind sanft kräftigend, dynamisch & schweißtreibend mit dem Ziel von Regeneration & Revitalisierung. Die Praxis besteht aus Asana-Praxis, freie Bewegung, Atmungsübungen, Meditation und Entspannung. Es werden sowohl einfache als auch fortgeschrittene Varianten der Asanas angeboten, um deine Praxis an dein Level anzupassen.
Jeden Monat zielt der Kurs auf einen spezifischen Fokus hin (z.B. Rückbeugen, Gleichgewicht, Umkehrhaltungen) um körperliche Fortschritte zu erleichtern und Raum im Geist zu schöpfen.

Marianne Schmidt, born to german parents in India, raised across the globe, she calls Berlin home. She is the founder of Soul Treats and works as a certified massage therapist, yoga instructor and life coach.
Marianne has been offering yoga classes and massage therapy for over eleven years. Fascinated by human anatomy and the connection between the psyche and the physical, her education is an ongoing process. Taping into many methods of body work, she treats clients and students holistically, by aligning the physical body with the aim of restoring balance on the emotional and energetical levels.
Dancing and performing since a yoga age, her yoga classes always include elements of dance, movement research and breath work.
Breath is a her guide, "dancing from sound to silence, flowing from silence to sound."

Christmas Eve hike - 17 km from Westend to Nikolassee (5.5 km/h)
Christmas Eve will be a cold but partly sunny day. We will meet on the west side of the Pichelsberg S-Bahn station, on the platform, and start the hike from the end point (https://www.komoot.com/tour/2692511554). Please prepare for a rather speedy hike. (Bring comfortable shoes, for example.) We will have a break at Grunewaldturm, but the café/restaurant there will be closed. However, there is an outdoor seating area with benches and tables where we can hopefully sit and enjoy the food we have brought with us. Towards the end of the hike, we will leave the track to visit the Indian restaurant Rasam (Wasgenstraße), where I have made a reservation (to ensure that the restaurant is open on Christmas Eve).

The hike will take place if at least 6 people sign up. As long as there are more than 6 people, you can sign up and cancel as many times as you like. Come along, grab a coffee, shut up, and write! We will do at least two sessions of each 45 minutes of writing and two breaks. We will start the first writing session at 10:15.
For space reasons, we are limited to a certain number of attendees, so please update your RSVP if you can't come. We are typically by the large windows facing the U-Bahn entrance.
If you are new, come and say hello, as we know that suddenly going quiet for 45 minutes and staring at that blank page can be intimidating when it's your first time. We have a lot of long-term regulars who will be happy to help you feel welcome.

10K Wednesday Evening
Let's run! Our run starts at 19:00, and takes about 1 hour depending on the route and group. Please try to arrive at the start on time!
Our pace is typically 5:10 to 5:40 min/km, but there are plenty of crossings to catch up to the group.
We will go every week, also in winter! Even if nobody appears to go, there are usually a few runners there without signing up.

The routes MAY be slightly different due to construction works!
Depending on the opinion of people joining and the weather, we'll decide on the spot and do between 9K and 11K and may experiment with (other) routes/extensions :-)
We typically do some stair running at the Bundestagsbibliothek, if the route passes by there, about 2K before the finish, which is really nice to get rid of any excess energy you might have. The stair running is optional, you can take a short rest as well.
Usually there are a few fast people pulling ahead, but don't worry, you won't be left behind, and we all meet at the stairs again :)
Occasionally we may go for a drink after the run at the Castle across the street from the start/finish and claim a table in the garden if the weather is nice (late spring, summer, early autumn). If you are interested in that, bring some money. They do take cards as well.
We do NOT have a place to store your bag(s)/clothes, but some people reported success by asking in the Castle...

Moderate to high intensity football
Welcome!
This football session is for individuals who like playing on moderate to high intensity (run a lot and change position to give player with the ball option to pass). Usually play on a pretty competitive level. Our football skills are average to good.
To keep things fair and enjoyable for all, we follow a few simple rules:
* **Show up at 07:15** so that you can get checked by the organiser
* If you are not checked by the organiser then \*\*1 match penalty applies\*\*(being moved to waitlist)
* **No studs**
* If you show up with studs, then you wont be allowed to play
* No dangerous tackling
* If you get tackled, you need to call the foul
* In case of handball only people close (1-2m) can call handball
* Since we play 12v12, we have offsides (0-1m difference is still tolerated)
* No penalties for handball in penalty box(no way of proving handball and please be fair)
* In case of handball, the other teams goalkeeper gets the ball

We play in the format 8v8 for a full hour. The pitch is a modern artificial turf (outdoor) in Safe-Hub Berlin. The fee to participate is 7.49€. I have some extra pickle ball paddles and balls if you don’t have one. Definitely bring your own paddle if you have one and bring some balls if you have them.

Bowling on New Year’s Eve is **nearly impossible to book** — and we locked down 8 lanes. That alone makes this a rare one.
we are definitely not a pro bowlers (**I’m actually pretty bad** 😅), but bowling is way better when pizza and beer are involved 🍕🍺

Hike Blendon Woods Metro Park
Hi ladies. We will meet in front of the Nature Center and head to the two Observation decks. We will then hike Hickory Ridge, Ripple Rock, Overlook and Sugarbush trails to get approximately four miles total distance. We will walk approximately a 18 minute mile pace. Please wear appropriate hiking shoes.
