This will be a scuba dive in a large swimming pool 5m deep at one end. Cost is about 55 euros. Scuba dive equipment will be included and supplied. You will be shown how to use scuba diving equipment by a dive instructor. If you do well in the pool, you can go to the next step and take up an open water PADI dive course qualification. With this qualification it will allow you to do open water scuba diving world wide. Dublin open water boat dives and weekend Atlantic sea boat dives trips and or Fjord boat scuba dives trips will be also avaliable to you around Ireland and World Wide once you are a PADI Open Water qualified scuba diver. People use Sea swimming for its healing properties,it washes viruses, bacteria and cleanse your skin amongst other things due to the sea salt content. Since the pandemic there has been a large increase in people going swimming. Scuba diving also refreshes your mind like hiking to start a new fresh day and a new work week. ## Details ### **The Vibe** Ditch the WFH screen and reclaim your Tuesday evening. We’re meeting in Hudson Road Park to work on the "Big Moves"—Muscle Ups, Handstands, Front Levers, and Planche. This isn't a gym class; it’s a **community workshop**. I’m an amateur enthusiast, not an expert, and I’m looking for a "tribe" to train with. We’ll use resistance bands and gymnastic rings (I’ll bring a few sets) to break down the physics of these moves and help each other progress. ### **The Vision: Tuesday "Anti-Gravity"** Whether you’re just starting your first push-up or you’re working on a full Planche, all levels are welcome. We focus on: * **Pull/Push Mechanics:** Building the "Engine" for Muscle Ups. * **Core & Tension:** Static holds for Levers and Planche. * **Balance:** Overcoming the fear of being upside down (Handstands). ### **The Plan** * **When:** Every **Tuesday at 7 PM**. (Great way to kill the post-work slump). * **Where:** **Hudson Road Park, Dun Laoghaire/Sandycove**. * **The Flow:** 45-60 mins of training/play. * **The Post-Game:** We’ll head for a quick bite or a "Recovery Tea/Coffee" at a nearby spot in Glasthule or Sandycove afterward. ### **The Safety Logic (The Small Print)** *I am **not** a PT or a certified coach. I am just a guy who loves the sport and wants to share tips. By joining, you are responsible for your own safety and injury prevention. The goal of this group is simple: to support and encourage each other to write more (myself included). I love writing short stories, but too often life gets in the way and I find excuses not to do it. This monthly group gathers together on the last Tuesday of every month in the lovely *Third Space* cafe in Smithfield to share and get feedback on our work. We’ll each get the chance to share an extract from a piece we’ve written, read it aloud and get feedback (in a nice quiet creative space). Any form of writing is great – whether screenwriting, poetry, flash fiction or something else. We pride ourselves in promoting a really friendly, safe space to share freely, but if you’d prefer to listen for the first while, that’s cool too. We will start the session with some light stretching exercises to warm us up, and help to prepare us for the run. The pace of the run will be steady, depending on who is running with us on the day. Days when we have a large group we may break into multiple groups, each operating independently at their own pace. Saturdays are good for intermediate runners, and is usually a 10km run, again at a steady pace. If you're looking to get into running, come along on Tuesday or Thursday mornings and I will coach you, at your pace, to get you up to running (jogging) to 5km without stops. The only thing I will ask, if you're a beginner, is that you're able to walk for approx 30 minutes at a relaxed pace. PLEASE NOTE: That, if you RSVP a particular event, then please ensure that you attend, as there may be other members relying on you for company on the run. IMPORTANT NOTE: Any run or activity that you participate in with the group will be at your own risk. Usually we have a post run (after our cool down) coffee in the Dash container at the Hole in the Wall pub.

Make to the most of the bright evenings and join us for a social cycle out to Howth Village. Total distance 25 km. Mostly flat with an optional climb up to the Summit. Here is our plan for the evening. 1ļøāƒ£. We leave at 6 pm from the sails sculpture on Clontarf Road. 2ļøāƒ£. Cycle out to Sutton Cross along the coastal cycle path 3ļøāƒ£. Here we turn right and cycle directly over Howth Hill 4ļøāƒ£ Short stop in the village for a coffee and a chat, then back by shorter route aiming to be back to Clontarf by 8:30 šŸŖ–PLEASE WEAR A HELMET and bring a tube in case you have a puncture WAIVER & RELEASE: We are a group composed of volunteers. Distance 68km, 1100m of climbing. # A lot of hill climbing on this route, only suitable for regular fit cyclists. Today we are going to take on a few hills for a lovely cycle up to Lough Tay ( also known as the Guinness lake) over the Sally gap. We start in Rathmines but from then on it's mostly climbing until Glencree. We stop for coffee in the Armoury Cafe which is in the old army barracks in Glencree. It's then more climbing up over Sally Gap to Logh Tay, for the perfect Instagram photo, then Back to Enniskerry and back into Dublin by Stepaside. Here is the plan for the day: 1. Leave from outside the Swan Leisure centre on Rathmines Road 2. Cycle to Glencree where we stop for coffee 3. Cycle to Lough Tay then back through Enniskerry, then Stepaside finishing the cycle at Cafe Nero, which is quite close to where we started. A lovely, but strenuous days cycling, with some fine dramatic scenery Please wear a helmet and bring a tube etc in case you get a puncture. Please note - It is every participant's responsibility to ride safely, follow the rules of the road, and come prepared with the proper equipment. Its like a combination of tag rugby and fencing and is a great way to meet new people and then hit them with a padded stick. Its light contact and the only gear you need to bring is clothing you are comfortable running around in and some water.

This Salsa Dance Party will be held in a large hall. There is Bar facilities, cheaper drinks and toilets are avaliable. Time of Dance Party from about 9.30pm/10pm. till after 1 am. Dress: Neat Dress. (Salsa Dance class lesson from 8.45pm to 9.30pm.) There may also be free Pizza at the end of the party like in previous parties. There are Salsa Social Dance Classes on Thursday evenings for those who like to learn or improve Salsa dancing. The entrance fee for the Salsa Party is 10 euros at the Door, which includes the Salsa class lesson. This is very good value. Place of large Hall is in Dublin 8. There is a large Free Car Parking at the back also. Dublin Bus 2 mins walk. There will be many other solo people attending from all around Ireland beside this meetup who already know this venue.
