Many flights arrive there, and it is a good town to stay in and explore before or after the trip. The park is a protected marine and terrestrial area off the northeastern coast of Sardinia, Italy. The surrounding area is also notable for sea caves, cliffs, and protected marine environments. There are a few ferries a day, going across the strait; it takes about an hour.
