Singles Crazy Golf in London Bridge | Ages 25 to 38
BOOK YOUR TICKET đđź [HERE](https://itsadate.club/event/crazy-golf-in-london-bridge-13/).
Itâs a Date is putting the fun back to dating events with *Plonk, London Bridge*! If making new connections on a crazy golf course sounds like your cup of tee, this event will be a hole lot of fun!
Weâll gather a group of golf-loving guys and girls for a round of introductions on this creative, London-themed course.
Our host will welcome you at 19:30 and introduce you to the other guests. Youâll then have the chance to grab a drink from the bar before we get started (we highly recommend the G & Tees!). Once ready, youâll be teamed up in mixed groups of six as you hit the course for the first few holes.
Midway through, our host will mix up the teams to make sure you get to show off your stylish swing to as many fellow guests as possible.
After completing the 9-hole course, weâll gather in the arcade for some nostalgic games like pinball or Pac-Man. For those handy with a cue, we can pair you up for doubles in a round of pool. Itâs all about fun icebreakers in a retro-themed bar to keep the conversations and good times flowing.
When the evening concludes, post-event matching will be available on your Itâs a Date dashboardâso you can keep your winning streak going, both in love and on the crazy golf course.
If you have any questions about the event or how it works, feel free to contact James at 07517 065 492 or james@itsadate.club.

March Meeting 1 - The First Bad Man (Miranda July)
In our weekday meeting for March, we will discuss *The First Bad Man* by Miranda July. The debut novel from the filmmaker, artist, and bestselling author is 'dazzling and unforgettable.' Published in 2015, it followed her award-winning collection of short stories, *No One Belongs Here More Than You* (2007), and CamĂŠra d'Or winning feature-length debut, *Me and You and Everyone We Know* (2005).
''The first novel by the filmmaker and artist Miranda July is like one of those strange mythological creatures that are part one thing, part another - a griffin or a chimera, perhaps, or a sphinx . . . An immensely moving portrait of motherhood and what it means to take care of a child . . . July writes of Cheryl's discovery of maternal love with heartfelt emotion and power"
-Michiko Kakutani, *New York Times*
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/21412400-the-first-bad-man
Our meeting will occur at Brasserie Blanc - Threadneedle St. So join us for some tasty French fair in the heart of the City as we delve into this fascinating read!
N.B. We will be charging an event fee of ÂŁ3, non-refundable, to discourage no-shows and contribute to the running costs of the group. Please only sign up if you intend to come along as space is limited to make for an effective discussion!

Adventures in Ecological Horticulture
with Rebecca McMackin
Wednesday, March 18
1:00pm - 2:30pm
Gone are the days when a garden could be ornamental alone. We now recognize the impact that our land care practices have on the ecosystems around us, and can see the importance of encouraging biodiversity. Thankfully, we do not need to sacrifice beauty when we invite butterflies and songbirds into our gardens.
Rebecca McMackin has cultivated gorgeous landscapes in the toughest environments possible: urban parks, school playgrounds, and the sidewalks of New York City. She will take lessons from her work at Brooklyn Bridge Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and decades of research to share how those of us who are fortunate enough to care for land, can do it beautifully and ecologically.
Rebecca McMackin is an ecologically obsessed horticulturist and garden designer. She writes, lectures, and teaches on ecological landscape management and pollination ecology, as well as designs the rare public garden.
She is currently Lead Horticulturist for the American Horticultural Society, an Associate with the Harvard Divinity Schoolâs Thinking with Plants and Fungi Initiative, and Consulting Arboretum Curator for Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, NY.
Rebecca spent a decade as Director of Horticulture of Brooklyn Bridge Park, where she managed 85 acres of diverse parkland organically. Their research into cultivating urban biodiversity and ethical management strategies has influenced thousands of people and entire urban parks systems to adopt similar approaches.
She has been published by and featured in the New York Times, Gardens Illustrated, on NPR and PBS. Her garden for the Brooklyn Museum recently won the PPAâs Award of Excellence and her TED Talk has been viewed over a million times. She holds M.Sc. from Columbia University and University of Victoria in landscape design and biology and recently completed the Loeb Fellowship at the
Harvard Graduate School of Design.
This program is presented in partnership with Rooted in Bexley and generously funded by the Bexley Community Foundation and Bexley Community Author Series Fund.
Shut Up & Write!ÂŽ Easton Town Center
We'll meet at The Capital One CafĂŠ, 167 Easton Town Center, Space A-103. This is in the main mall where the Microsoft store used to be, on your left if you're standing at the bottom of the AMC Theater escalator.
Join us on Sunday for an hour of uninterrupted wordmaking!
⢠What we'll do
Join us for an hour of writing! Weâve discovered that itâs strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if itâs true for you at noon on Sundays.
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
SCHEDULE:
12:00 - quick intros.
12:10 - timer starts: write for 1 hour.
1:10 - chat / take off / keep writing.
OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens at 1-1:30ish. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.
BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.
Happy writing and I look forward to seeing you!
⢠What to bring
Whatever you need to be able to write!
Bring earbuds/earplugs if you want to block noise or the occasional conversation by other patrons. Electrical outlets are limited, so charge your devices before whenever possible.
See you at The CafĂŠ on Sunday!
