Relatively Speaking by Alan Ayckbourn.
Relatively Speaking by Alan Ayckbourn.
“Relatively Speaking established Ayckbourn as a writer of ingenious farcical comedy, with an ear for dialogue, a penchant for complex situations, misunderstandings and intriguing plots. Expect a masterful yarn of mistaken identity leading to comic chaos. The dialogue crackles and sparkles providing us with prolonged moments of pure joy and sublime hilarity”. Please join us for an entertaining evening. We will meet in the bar area upstairs at around 7.15pm. I have booked J3 - tickets £17 - and recommend booking soon if you’re interested as not too many seats left. Hope to see you there.

Clifftop Club: The 18-Mile Challenge: Folkstone - Deal 💪
We are taking on 18 miles along one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the UK. Think sea air, big open views, quiet chats as we walk, and that steady rhythm you only get on a long hike. That feeling when your legs are tired, but your head feels clear. **The plan:** Distance: 18.5 miles Difficulty: Hard Time: 8–9 hrs Train tickets: purchase off-peak return to Eastbourne with national rail card. OR wecq get a group ticketket on a day. Sea views + cliffs + iconic Kent coastline We will start in Deal and follow the coast towards the cliffs, moving at a steady, social pace. There will be time to pause, take it in, and enjoy it — no rush, no pressure, just a shared challenge. By the end, you’ll have walked 18 miles, met some great people, and probably feel a little different than when you started (in a good way). **Bring:** * Comfortable walking shoes / boots * Water and snacks * Weather-appropriate clothing **⚠️ Important: Refund Policy & Weather Notice** This hike runs rain or shine. Wine Not? (Women Only)
Wine Not? (Women Only)
Wine Not? is a women-only gathering before the Balancers Saturday social. Most attendees come solo, so it’s an easy and welcoming place to meet people and settle in before the night gets busier. London can make meeting new people feel awkward, especially if you're coming alone. This early social creates a comfortable environment where you can chat, laugh, and get to know a few friendly faces first. Expect a relaxed atmosphere, a few light games, and plenty of time to connect naturally. At **7.30 pm the main Balancers social begins**, and the room fills as over **150 people usually join the night**. Wine Not? naturally flows into the rest of the evening, so you’re welcome to stay and enjoy the full experience. Coming solo is completely normal. Our hosts will be there to help everyone feel comfortable, included, and connected from the start. **Check out our past events here:** **[https://www.instagram.com/_balancers/](https://www.instagram.com/_balancers/)** **Want to stay in the loop?
