**\*TRIP FULL\*** Hike in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales to see the Spring Equinox sun rising and falling as we make our way around this classic walking circuit Begin the hike in the dark to ascend the first hill as the sun rises and aim to complete the circuit 12 hours later as the sun is setting \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **ITINERARY** **Friday PM** Meet at Kings Cross train station on Friday evening for a relaxing journey north in the comfort of the train (train ticket included in the cost) where you will be met at the destination train station and driven to our accommodation in The Yorkshire Dales National Park **Saturday** Day 1 will involve hiking the Yorkshire 3-Peaks: A 26-mile hike over Pen-y-ghent (736m), Wearnside (723m) and Ingleborough (694m). *Please don't worry about your own fitness or ability. We will have several leaders on hand to cater to everyones pace/ability. We will also have a base camp manager supporting the trip to assist anyone that decides to drop out at any point in the day.* We will then retire to the warmth of a local hostelry to compare photos over a soft drink, or two. **Sunday** Day 2 will involve an easy walk to stretch your legs, visiting the fascinating rock formations offered by the Limestone synonymous with the area. **Departure** \- After the short walk we will make our way back to the buses for your transfer back to the train station and a relaxing journey back to London \- arriving back in London around 9pm \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **ACCOMMODATION** We have exclusive use of a bunkhouse (6 single-sex bedrooms) **Cost: The price of this all-inclusive weekend is just £395** *To join, simply RSVP and pay the £100 deposit. I fly from Heathrow to Krakow on 20th March at 9am with BA and stay there until 23rd March - I will get a train to Warsaw and stay there until 26th and fly back from Warsaw to Heathrow at 3.30pm. I have yet to book accommodation - if you are staying in Krakow or Warsaw the same days as me then I am happy to share an Air BnB but will be sorting accommodation soon for myself if no one gets back to me. I am into walking holidays - exploring on foot and seeing what the country is about, I walk all day and go to a restaurant at night. I am not into bars or clubs but you are welcome to do that. You can join me for as little or as much as you want. You will have to sort your own flight out and can join me for all of the trip or some of the trip and will have to sort your own accommodation out if you are not going the same days as me I usually stay centrally.

Having read Andy Weir's *Project Hail Mary* back in January, we will go see the new film in imax! The screening we will go to is 18:30 on 20 March at Cineworld Leicester Square. A chance to try a flying lesson! Feel the adrenaline rush as you take the controls of a light aircraft and soar across the sky above the English countryside while learning what it’s like to actually pilot a plane with this 30 Minute Flying Lesson in a Cessna airplane. You will have a 30-minute Flying lesson with an instructor, overall your individual session will be an hour as you get prepared and chat to your pilot before. We have booked for 10 lessons on the day and may be able to take a couple more based on availability. Time slots will be give out closer to the time, but overall we plan to head down together, and can get train/taxi to the venue. **About the Lesson** You’ll receive one-to-one tuition from a Civil Aviation Authority-licensed instructor, meaning you’ll have expert guidance in getting to grips with the controls during every moment in the air. You’ll have unbeatable views across the surrounding area, but we don’t blame you if you want to stay focussed on the world ahead of your windscreen as you’re thousands of feet above the ground! What you’ll learn will depend on your chosen location, but all of your flying time will still count towards a Private Pilot’s Licence should you be a budding flying hobbyist and planning to take to the skies again. Exhilarating, awe-inspiring and breath-taking all at once, this is an experience you’ll want to try again as soon as it’s over! **On the day** Your flying lesson starts with a pre-flight briefing from your qualified instructor. This will cover safety, and an introduction to some of the controls. Once in the plane, you are given headphones so that you can hear conversations between your instructor and air traffic control. You will also be able to communicate with each other so you can be guided through your first lesson.
