Bring any piece of music in any form. We'll deconstruct it's musical elements and share with each other what the music evokes and what insights arise. Then, consider how this musical work fits into the broader world of music and sound. After a break well do a musical exercise together and end with a short slent meditation. We will be going to the "Taste of the Junction" festival, this festival features food booths and art installations. If any one wants to stay afterwards Richard will lead an optional tour of more art murals. This is a good place to get colourful photographs. We will be joined by my other meetup group. We will be meeting INSIDE Dundas west subway station at the entrance where you pay your fare (at the McDonalds). Richard will be holding a meetup sign. Then we will take bus 40 a short distance to Pacific avenue. Please be on time as Richard doesn't wait long. We request a $2 donation which we donate to the Scott Mission for the homeless. Discover how to safely preserve food at home. Learn basic food preservation methods including pressure canning, water bath canning and drying. June 4 - Water Bath Canning July 9 - Pressure Canning August 6 - Drying Fruits and Vegetables We're excited to once again welcome Shari Gallup from The Ohio State University Extension Office to lead a series of Life Local food preservation workshops. These hands-on sessions are designed to help participants learn practical, time-tested techniques for preserving seasonal foods at home. Registration is not yet open but will be available soon.
