Blood on the Clocktower at Manifesto! (beginner/intermediate)
Hi folks, this is the meetup group for the weekly Sunday Blood on the Clocktower games in the Soot bar in Manifesto at Potsdamer Platz. We run beginner-friendly and intermediate-level games throughout the afternoon and evening. **Friendly newcomers of all skill levels are welcome, no experience required!**
Our group aims to provide a fun and welcoming space to experience this thrilling game of social deception. **We focus on promoting a positive and fun group atmosphere, where players donât take themselves or the game too seriously, whether theyâre heroically winning or spectacularly losing.** Our players follow the code of conduct for the Berlin Board Gamers group and are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration â âkilling with grace, and dying with dignityâ.
We are usually able to offer two simultaneous games on Sundays. If you are marked as "attending" in Meetup and are in your seat at 15:00, your place is guaranteed for as long as you want to stay. All other seats are first come, first served. We always run at least one beginner-friendly game of the basic version of Clocktower ("Trouble Brewing") throughout the afternoon and evening. We also usually have enough players for a second intermediate-level game. If you are already very familiar with Clocktower, consider also joining our Tuesday meetup for advanced players, when we play with complex custom scripts and characters.
Blood on the Clocktower is a deep, mechanical game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception⊠think Werewolf on steroids. Each player receives a unique secret role and plays either for the good team â the uninformed majority, gathering info and working with others to solve the puzzle â or the evil team, the informed minority, scheming to eliminate good players and protect their demon from execution. In our beginner games no prior experience is expected and we will gladly explain the game rules to any newcomers.
We play in English so players should be able to understand and express themselves in English: an exception is possible for one pair of players willing to play together (as a âRevolutionaryâ pair) where one player can interpret into and out of English. Please let us know in advance if this is the case.
We are very grateful to the wonderful folks at Manifesto for hosting our meetup! **Please support the venue during your visit by buying drinks and/or food.**
Improv Games in Tiergarten (outdoors & in English)
We improvise all the time!
âIt's coming up with a story to tell someone. Making up an excuse when you are late to work. Having to do a presentation when you have lost all your notes. Improvising is also coming up with a joke or a pickup line on a date.
âImprovising can be challenging, but it can also be fun. It involves spontaneity and creativity. Whether or not you think you are good at improvising doesn't matter. You may surprise yourself. So join us for an afternoon of improv games where we certainly will have fun!
â---
âThe event will start at 14:00 and last up to 2 hours, with a 10-minute break in between.
You'll find us in Tiergarten at the following spot: [https://maps.app.goo.gl/dzXw9NXMLAjBqBUE9](https://maps.app.goo.gl/dzXw9NXMLAjBqBUE9)
The communication before, during, and after the event will happen in our Telegram group: [https://t.me/czc_berlin](https://t.me/czc_berlin). As soon as we are at the location, we'll post a selfie there and guide you if necessary.

đ Summer on a Pankow Terrace: All-You-Can-Eat BĂĄnh XĂšo
**Welcome to homecooked stories by Trang**
In Vietnam, BĂĄnh XĂšo isnât something I would order as a carefully plated dish in a restaurant.
Itâs what happens when friends gather around a street vendor late at night.
Someone orders a stack of crispy pancakes for the table. Everyone wraps pieces in lettuce and herbs, dips them into fish sauce, and keeps ordering more until the whole group is full.
This summer, I want to recreate a little bit of that feeling in Berlin.
Join me on my terrace in Pankow for an all-you-can-eat BĂĄnh XĂšo feast. Iâll be making fresh BĂĄnh XĂšo throughout the afternoon, served with herbs, lettuce, and dipping sauce.
And because itâs summer, weâll finish with a homemade Vietnamese banana coconut ice cream.
Whether you come alone or bring a friend, expect a relaxed Sunday afternoon of good food and conversation with new people.
Whatâs included:
âą Unlimited homemade BĂĄnh XĂšo
âą Fresh herbs, lettuce, and dipping sauce
âą Homemade Vietnamese banana coconut ice cream
âą Tea, coffee & water included
Feel free to bring your own (non-)alcoholic drinks.
No vegan or vegetarian option will be available for this dinner.

đŹSouth African Sardine Run - 1 WEEK INSIDE A NATURE DOCUMENTARY đ
**1 week of an exclusive, small-group ocean expedition for freedivers, photographers, and wildlife enthusiasts! If you love the ocean, this trip is for you.**
Each year, the waters off South Africaâs Wild Coast transform into one of the planetâs most dramatic natural events. Billions of sardines migrate along the Wild Coast, making it one of the largest animal migrations on the planet. It attracts a diverse range of predators, from dolphins and sharks to whales and seabirds - all converging in a feeding spectacle few ever witness up close.
The Sardine Run remains one of the most spectacular events on earth. Each day, ocean conditions, currents, and predator behavior determine what youâll encounter. Youâll spend your days following the pulse of the sea - sometimes waiting, sometimes immersed in pure chaos and raw nature beauty.
We partner with a trusted local dive operator with extensive experience running ocean expeditions along the Wild Coast. Their skilled skippers, dive crews, and wildlife spotters bring a deep understanding of the areaâs conditions and marine life, ensuring safety, precision, and ethical wildlife encounters.

CMG Gives Back: Serve Dinner at FAITH MISSION GRANT KITCHEN!
Join us as we get together to get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event! We have a great little community of Movie Group friends so rather than see a movie this time, weâll help âCreate a better worldâ by helping serve those in need. NOTE: Weâre switching it up this time and going with a DINNER shift on Mon, 7/6. Here are complete details and our plan for this event:
FAITH MISSION â GRANT KITCHEN: The Faith Mission kitchen and dining room serves residents 3 meals a day, every day of the year. For this event, our group will help prepare food, serve meals, assist residents in the dining room, wash dishes, and clean surfaces.
PLAN: We will be preparing / serving / cleaning for DINNER from 4:30 to 6:30pm and have space for a total of 7 volunteers. Please arrive at 4:20pm and wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
LOCATION: Faith Mission â Grant Kitchen is located at 245 N. Grant Ave. Enter the kitchen at Dock 1 (in the back of the building), indicated in the attached map. On-site parking in the adjacent lot and street parking are available in the surrounding area. Below are some links / attachments with additional info/details:
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing all of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain youâll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please try to update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. With few exceptions, no shows or cancelations within 1 week of the event will not be eligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve. Our Partner Agency for this event is Lutheran Social Services! A huge THANK YOU to those volunteering at this (or any of our previous or future) CMG Gives Back events!
Look forward to seeing you there, Dan

(Note: RSVPing here on meetup does NOT reserve your seat. To do that, youâll need to register at our website, [HERE](https://www.coreerocks.com/Events.aspx?ID=Picnic-with-a-Purpose-Real-Estate-Networking-That-Actually-Pays-Off-14-7-7-2026).)
Real estate is a proven wealth-builderâit has been for generations.
But itâs not a solo sport.
You need PEOPLEâwho can advise you, partner with you, bring you deals, and buy deals from you.
Weâre all about bringing you the best, most active, most got-your-back people in Central Ohio, which is why our July meeting is all about real conversations with real investors at our annual Picnic with a Purpose.
This is where:
* Deals get discussed
* Partnerships get formed
* Funding relationships start
* Problems get solved faster
Bring your family. Build your network. Strengthen the relationships that actually move your business forward.
Members and first-time guests are free. Returning guests are $35.
Location is a local park and will be shared after registration.
Space is limited, so youâll want to secure your spot now.
