Food Tasting

***High Bank Distillery tours*** walk you through our story, our process, and a tasting of our spirits (and maybe a few in the works). We end in the Barrel Room for a wonderful tasting of their best sellers! **The tours *cost $10/person* and we ask that you *arrive 10 minutes prior* to the start of the tour.** **4:30pm TOUR** **5:30pm DRINKS & DINNER**: We'll try a drink made with your favorite spirit you tasted on tour. We'll grab a bite to eat there, too. **PARKING**: Street parking and Ohio Power Tool parking lot nearby. **[High Bank Distillery](https://www.highbankco.com/)** is your destination for great food, cold drinks, and fun times in Columbus, OH. We pride ourselves in the quality and flavors of our spirits, distilled and prepared in house, and perfect for any occasion. **$1 Slices of Pizza!!!** #5xNWPizzaCrawl is back!! Start at Barrell & Tap where Brenz pizza will serve slices at the bar and you can grab the voting link from our booth. Then take a walk to Fibonaccis, Halwanis, Deweys, and finally Jets to choose your favorite! (the walk is about a 10 block square) Join us for this great community event and check back for more information on our route. (Grandview area)

It's "***Tropical Night!***" Dig out your old *Hawaiian Shirts* and *Grass Skirts* as wecgather to drink wine this Friday. Hilliard Wine Club will sip the evening away while sporting the fashions of tourists throughout the Tropics. Glasses are provided. Bring a snack to share. Bring a bottle to share (no formal wine tasting this week). See all the details below for this Hilliard Wine Club Wine event. In Person. In Real Life. Actual Wine from glass bottles with corks and everything. **Wine**: It's Freestyle night, that means bring a bottle of wine to share. Door charge is $10 (cash or Venmo only please). **Parking**: There are several public parking lots near the Alive614 hall. Please be careful to NOT park in private parking lots. They do tow. Check Google maps to scope out your space. Anyone who is early could easily find a parking space on the street nearby. **Glasses**: …will be provided. Please note that after the wine tasting, the EMPTY glasses need to be returned to the boxes at the service table. Please do not make me hunt down your empty glass. Please be gentle, our glasses are fragile. Uh, they are made of glass! **Food**: You are welcome to bring a snack to share. It is not required. Most people do though. If no one brings anything, there will be nothing. **Code of Conduct**: Though mostly understood, it’s still worth mentioning. We don’t have rules per se, but we highly discourage the following topics of discussion because they are likely to incite anti-social responses - Sex, Politics, Religion. Please don’t mistake this as an attempt to limit your free speech rights but rather a guide to a place and time for appropriate discussions. **After the lights go out**: After the last sip of wine, when we clean up and turn the lights out, if you still haven’t had enough of us, it is typical for a group to get together and go to a local eatery for food and/or drinks or coffee. **Nurses**: Finally, it's Nurses' Appreciation Week and in honor of all of our fine members in the Nursing/Medical professions it is Nurses' Night at the Hilliard Wine Club. Everyone loves Nurses so please come if you are one and join us in celebrating them if you're not one. (Please keep your medical questions to a minimum. You may not get the best health advice after a couple glasses of wine.) **On Freestyle night** \- just bring a bottle to share\. There is NO formal wine tasting like on other weeks\.
