HERMETIC ORDER of the RED DRAGON
Ritual starts at 7pm - please arrive between 6.30pm & 7pm.
**ONLY INITIATED MEMBERS MAY ATTEND**. Click here for details on how to become a member **[https://esotericbookshop.org/hermetic-order-of-the-red-dragon/](https://esotericbookshop.org/hermetic-order-of-the-red-dragon/)**
The whole point of **HORD** is to become ***enlightened*** and to do this by rending apart the ***Veil of Illusion*** leaving the way clear to achieving the ***Knowledge and Conversation of your Holy Guardian Angel***. This is done by 'Solve et Coagula' in Alchemical terms. You undergo a series of challenges that essentially help you pull yourself apart, realise which parts of yourself you have created as an ***'illusion'***, and change that âillusionâ so that you can reassemble yourself in a better and more perfect way. ***HORD doesnât do it. You do it***. But you have the rest of the group to support and back you up as we all go through the process together.
Rending the Veil is a âprofoundâ experience. We donât let go of our illusions easily. The whole process consists of finding your âillusionsâ and seeing them for what they are â unreal. There is a simple test to check if youâve found an illusion. **Emotion**. ***If something makes you laugh, cry, get pissed off â congratulations; youâve found one***.
Enlightened Buddhists, when they find another illusion, roll around laughing for hours and hours and hours. In fact, people like the ***Dalai Lama*** spend most of the day rolling around in laughter â the more enlightened you are â the more illusions you find.
⌠the unenlightened just get pissed off.
The Hermetic Order of the Red Dragon (HORD) is a ceremonial magic group that evolved from the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (GD). For more information:

The event will conclude at 8:45PM.

**PROGRAM**

* Explore the art of deep listening â how to distinguish between the noise of the world and the still, small voice within
* **Share stories, laughter and insights:** the hunches we followed, the signs we almost missed, and the unexpected sparks that changed everything
* **Create casual and fun art** that captures a moment of personal inspiration â a flash of insight rendered in colour, word or form
* Develop practical ways to **cultivate receptivity** in our daily work lives â slowing down enough to hear what the universe might be trying to tell us
Come ready to reflect, share and listen â to each other, and perhaps to something a little beyond. **Leave with fresh eyes for the guidance already surrounding you, and the courage to act on it.**

Sunday Meditation | Community Building | Connection | Meet New People
**Who We are..... đ¤**
Our journey to bring people together began in January of 2022. The group was started with a simple intention to gather and meet some likeminded people - connecting through the powerful act of meditation and sharing our genuine selves while sitting in a circle that represents equality, harmony and wholeness( *we believe everyone in the circle is a teacher and a student at the same time)*.
And over the last 4 years of consistently coming together, we have fostered a beautiful, loving, dependable community where members from all walks of life have experienced a sacred space to sit in silence together and meditate, share their authentic selves, give presence to others and forge meaningful and long lasting connections.
The Meditations are guided by Sana(co-founder and host), who is a Trained and certified meditation teacher by the Meditation Association of Australia, and has been guiding meditations for 3+ years in corporate and community settings.
⨠**Do you wish to....**
* Experience a simple yet powerful meditation and breathing practice to find calm, relaxation and clarity
* Connect with like-minded people in your local community and foster meaningful connections
* Meet others who are passionate about growing, uplifting themselves, and supporting others
* Share insights from your personal journey (or simply listen and learn)
Or maybe you just want to...
âŽď¸ **Spend your Sunday evening in a peaceful, zen space and meet new people? Bring a friend (or two!) and letâs connect.**
**Whatâs on the eveningâs flow?**
* **Open meet & greet** â connect and settle in
* **5 min guided meditation** to land into the space and connect within
* **Sharing circle** (totally optional!) â share your thoughts or simply listen
* **20-30 min guided meditation** â for relaxation and deeper connection
**Where?**
đ **250 George St, Fitzroy VIC 3065**
Enter through the church gates. Youâll see a small garden on the left and stairs on the right leading up to the **Dance of Life Yoga Studio (first door on your right upstairs).**
**What to bring?**
* **Donation:** A contribution of **$15 or more is recommended**.
Your donations directly help us cover venue, meetup membership and other costs, provide valuable resources, and keep this meditation community alive and growing.
* **Warm jumper/jacket** (just in case!)
* **Water**
* **Any books/resources/inspiration youâd love to share**
**Important Notes:**
* Spaces are **limited**, so if you canât make it, please update your RSVP to âNot goingâ or send us a quick message.
* **No-show policy:** To keep it fair for everyone, repeat no-shows without notice may not be able to RSVP in the future.
* Attendees under 18 must have a guardian present.
**Everyone is welcome!**

The event runs for about **2.5 hours**, but youâre free to come and go as you need.
Good Vibes and Cocktail Bar đ¤Šđ¸ Thursday Social! âŠâĄ

đ **Location:** Level 1, 7-9 Waratah Place, Melbourne Vic 3000

Presenting - How to Think on your Feet
Smashing! Try something new Thursday
Interactive reality workshop - Tonight learn how to respond to questioning, by thinking on you feet
Serious about improving your leadership - **Why mess, come to the best**
Why is Smashing different to other speaking clubs?
Just two member's thoughts, "The fun/laughs factor is definitely a point of difference. We keep it moving with high standards so itâs a nice balance. Too strict makes it tense and boring, too loose and we can lose the energy/commercial feel. SmashSpeak's vibe's in the sweet spot."
"At other clubs I used to listen to long speeches and lectures, here we get so many chances to talk every meeting, that we have to improve"
**Free parking** close: O'Connell and Cobden streets
**IMPORTANT: Be on time, as doors close when the show starts**
âProudly Australian" â Free-flowing teamwork, greater good focus, sharing the stage, etc
Multicultural Hub, 506 Elizabeth St (Opposite Queen Vic Market)
Level 1, PURPLE Room (End of corridor)

Imagine a future intentionally shaped by kindness: come build it together with us on
**Saturday, July 18th at the Junto Hotel in downtown Columbus!**
The function of our conference is to help people develop the skills to build kind community and provide opportunities to increase in-person connection and support in each otherâs lives.
**This conference is for any of us who are:**
¡ Feeling isolated and lacking community in our current society
¡ Wanting to make a difference in our own lives and the lives of each other
¡ Anyone who is just wishing to create something better!
**We will build more kind community by:**
¡ Developing formats for building community-based infrastructure where existing systems are failing that anybody can use
¡ Providing the tools that help people connect in-person and practicing using those tools together
¡ Implementing Universal Design so that no one gets left behind
**Opportunities and practical tools we are offering:**
¡ Lunch!
¡ Community-Building Toolkits for people to take home
¡ A chance to build lasting friendships and supportive connections
¡ Opportunities to share referrals, strategies, resources, and the kind of connected support networks many people receive through family, but that those without community and family are often lacking
¡ Ongoing community dinners, free workshops, and other events where people can connect
**Participants also have the opportunity to receive CE credits from the Ohio CSWMFT Board.**
We are just getting started! This is one of many upcoming events where we can continue making kind community together. **Who else should be here?**
Share this opportunity with anyone else who you think might want to build kind community! For more information and to register visit [www.kindhelp.org](http://www.kindhelp.org/).
