## 2-days avalanche safety course, advanced. ## **Guided by a certified mountainguide.** **Program** \- day 1: on a short tour we will recapitulate the theories about snow, avalanches, safety measures and how to behave accordingly to the conditions. In the evening we will exercise our skills with the avalanche transceiver and learn how to plan a tour. \- day 2: You will guide a part of the tour that we planed the day before. Decision making, risk-management, orientation and how to behave accordingly will be the aim of today. **Level:** You already have experiences in ski-touring and you are a good skier. You know the basics of snow/avalanche theories and you know how to use your safety equipment. Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive. We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards. The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet at the Mythenquai Badi entrance no matter the weather. Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy. The event is Free. IMPORTANT: Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event. Before attempting cold water exposure, individuals with health conditions (e.g., heart problems or hypertension) should seek advice from a healthcare professional. Safely acclimating the body to cold temperatures requires preparation and gradual exposure.
