There Must Be a Lilac: EventStorming with Alberto Brandolini
He's back! The inventor of EventStorming is once again joining the Berlin Collaborative Modeling Meetup for an evening of massive learning, massive laughter, and no doubt a massive number of sticky notes.
Here is the agenda:
**Collaborative Reverse Roadmapping**
We'll put future events on a timeline to build the future we want to happen and make it tactically sound. We'll leverage ideas from
* EventStorming (surprise!)
* Futurespective
* Traditional planning
And we'll explore a tool that will enable strategic planning and overcome deadlocks.
This is a rare opportunity to spend time with a true thought leader in the DDD community and the person who contributed to the world the whole premise of our meetup. He's full of insights and stories, wit and wisdom, and we are lucky to have him drop by to share them with us. Don't miss this one!
**Please do not RSVP if you do not intend to come. For this event only, we have to limit attendance.**
As always, everyone is welcome. You don't need to be a software engineer to participate. In fact, it would be great to have more people who aren't software engineers. We're here to solve problems cross-functionally, not get into implementation details. As long as you care passionately about getting things right, then you belong here!
This is a hands-on workshop. Be prepared to participate fully and add to the energy of the room. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Und ganz nebenbei triffst du auf tolle, redefreudige Menschen mit ähnlichen Zielen.
📍 **Wo und wann?**

Oracular Collage Exhibition – Opening Night
The exhibition **Oracular Collage** is a magical invitation: each viewer is invited to access messages for their own life through the artworks. Life is symbolic, and when we are fully present, these messages emerge like letters from the Universe. With studies based on Tarot archetypes, magic, and symbolism, the art reveals itself as a living oracle, unfolding through the senses of those who contemplate it. In this exhibition, the artist revisits feelings and symbols, and presents a series of collages and mixed mídia artwork created in Brazil and Germany over a period of ten years.
**Vanessa D. Neuber** is a Brazilian artist and curator based in Berlin. With a background in design, art history, and analytical psychology, with an emphasis on mythology, storytelling, and arts, she explores artistic creation as a path to self-knowledge, building bridges between words and images, the visible and the hidden, the dreamlike and the everyday. Her artistic research dialogues with philosophy, quantum physics, symbolism, mindfulness, migration, and feminism. Fascinated by mystery and unanswered questions, she seeks to destabilize certainties and imagine new worlds, inviting the public to experience art as living matter: vital, necessary, and transformative.

***Get ready to explore the beauty of nature on a quick sketch walk - no art skills needed, just your creativity and love for the outdoors!***
**To join this trip, you need to purchase your ticket from link below 👇🏽:**
[https://quick-sketch-grunewaldsee-15mar2026.eventbrite.de](https://quick-sketch-grunewaldsee-15mar2026.eventbrite.de)
### **WHY GO?**
* Join us, the afternoon of Sunday, the 15th of March the König-Louise-Straße Bus Stop near the Waldbaude Snack Bar (Clayallee 91, 14195 Berlin). We’ll be meeting up with fellow ***Sketchers & Artists*** to practice our ***quick sketching skills while enjoying nature,*** we’ll be walking a short ***2-3 kilometers*** into Grunewald, and along the Grunewaldsee. Nature is slowly waking up from its winter slumber, with moss, ivy and pine being the primary shades of green you’ll see. We’re taking this opportunity to do a series of ***quick sketches focused on shading***. You can draw what you choose, or even bring a camera to do some photography as well. As the trees are mostly still without their leaves, ***we’ll be focusing on details like moss covered logs, small wooden bridges, a sandbar along the lake and reeds growing at the lake shore***. You will also have the opportunity to sketch a scene of the ***Jagdschloos Grunewald***, seen best from across the lake due to ongoing construction.
* If this is your first time sketching or 100th time sketching, you can find subjects that are right for you. ***You don’t need to be a professional at all!*** You should just want to practice your sketching skills while meeting new people, and hopefully sketching a bit better than you did the day before.
* If this is your first time to Grunewaldsee, please be aware many locals have their dogs off leash in the area.
* We will be stopping to do multiple 15 min sketches with the goal of improving our quick sketching skills. ***Quick sketching is a foundational sketching skill*** that seeks to simplify a scene while communicating the necessary details for a viewer to see and feel a scene or detail. This weekend, we’ll be focusing especially on the art of shading, and how it can be used to add a little extra pop to our sketches. These are sketching skills that can be applied across artistic mediums.
* Bring your preferred drawing medium for short ***quick sketches***, and meet up with fellow nature sketchers. There are benches in the area, but you may wish to bring a small chair or cushion to make things more comfortable.
* The drawings are purely for fun, and to get to know other artists and hobbyists in the area!
* (This meet-up does *not* include entry to the Jagdschloos Grunewald)
* Join us at 13:00 at the König-Louise-Straße Bus Stop (115, X10, N10, X83) near the Waldbaude Snack Bar (Clayallee 91, 14195 Berlin) with our host - Elizabeth, we’ll get to know one another and then set out as a group to sketch along the Grunewaldsee, it’s an out-and-back route along a lake with several opportunities for sketching, conversation and relaxing. We will sketch from 13:00-16:00 and then return to our meeting spot.

We meet and sketch each other in Berlin. This is just an art gym that we also exercise our social skills. Afterwards usually we go for lunch as a group.
**How Does It Work?**
This event is simple, we meet and sketch each other doing portraits. Most of the participants use pencils or watercolors. Main aim is to socialize while we draw. There will be plenty of time to talk and get to know each other. We have to mention that this event is suitable for all levels. Many have started to draw in our event actually.
**Structure**
A. Warmup Phase: We pose to each other for 1 minute.
B. Main Phase: We pose to each other for 10 minutes.

**Who We Are**
Creative Sessions is an art events group located in Berlin.
**Is it Free?**

The event is provided for free but many people help this be a regular thing. We also need people to volunteer and help for minor tasks like the serving of the drinks or cleaning up. Just send us a message.
