Our quiz night will consist of 4 rounds of trivia on a wide variety of topics, movies and TV, pop culture, geography, fashion, and anything strange and peculiar that comes through the mind of your host, with the final round being a music round! The Dissident Salon is a weekly poetry and performance series created as an extension of the DISSIDENT Club’s mission to provide a home for dissenting voices, hosted by Alissa Leeds. Rooted in the tradition of the literary salon, it treats writing and performance as public acts that question power and challenge the systems that shape our lives. Each week features a curated performer, followed by open mic sessions open to all. Work may be presented in English, French, or other languages. Multilingual expression is central to the space and reflects the realities of exile, displacement, and exchange that define the DISSIDENT Club. The Salon is an ongoing forum for people who speak publicly and think critically through art. Si c'est votre toute première partie, je recommanderais tout de même de venir d'abord à une de nos sessions pour joueur(se)s débutant(e)s: nous y expliquons les règles en détails. **Soirée enquête, bluff et intrigues aux Caves Alliées.** Venez (re)découvrir cette petite pépite du jeu d'intrigue qu'est Blood on the Clocktower, à mi-chemin entre un loup-garou et une murder mystery: incarnez le temps d'un soir un des habitants du village de Ravenswood Bluff, et enquêtez, bluffez, collaborez avec les autres joueurs pour faire la lumière sur la malédiction qui ronge le village de l'intérieur. Ou jouez pour le camp du mal, et avancez dans l'ombre pour semer le doute et la discorde parmi vos concitoyens. * Soirée Trouble Brewing. Une valeur sûre qui convient aux joueur(se)s débutant(e)s comme expérimenté(e)s! * Nous serons accueillis au bar "les Caves Alliées" (taverne médiévale à Paris 6ème), qui nous met à disposition un espace de jeu. * Participation gratuite, par contre nous serons dans un bar, donc pensez à consommer (Ils ont un large choix de bières, des softs, boissons médiévales, et planches pour grignoter).

Une soirée jeux de société pour rencontrer de nouvelles personnes ! Venez seul(e), en binôme, ou même à trois ou quatre si vous êtes prêt(e)s à accueillir d'autres personnes à votre table. Prix d'entrée du café-jeux à 10 €, dont une boisson comprise et des jeux à volonté. La boisson peut être prise à emporter si vous faites le Ramadan! Pas besoin d'arriver pile à 18h30 pour ceux qui veulent venir en cours de soirée, mais nous ne pouvons garantir les places que jusqu'à 20h, ensuite ça dépendra de l'affluence :)

L'association des "Joueurs Anonymes" organise un afterwork ludique au Bouillon Belge. Des bénévoles de l'association accueillent les joueurs et joueuses pour leur parler de ses bienfaits et ses sorties. L'association ne demande aucune participation financière, mais nous acceptons les dons :) Plusieurs choses à savoir : _ Venir avec le sourire et la bonne humeur, c'est fin de journée ; _ Des animateurs sont présents pour vous faire découvrir des jeux et vous en expliquer les règles ; _ Possibilité de ramener ses propres jeux si on peut les expliquer ; Je suis parfois joueurs, parfois bénévole. Si vous ne me trouvez pas, n'hésitez pas à demander aux bénévoles présents.

Comme tous les mois, le Ludollectif » une ou deux sessions de grands jeux stratégiques. Si vous aimez les jeux long, cérébraux, les jeux qui vous racontent une histoire, qui vous emmènent dans un univers riche et profond, alors ces après-midi sont faits pour vous. Si vous voulez vous lancer dans l’aventure, nous vous conseillons néanmoins d’arriver à l’heure pour profiter pleinement de votre dimanche ! Des habitués ne s'inscrivent pas à chaque fois. N'hésitez pas à venir, il y a toujours au moins une dizaine de joueurs. Amis automobilistes, attention ! Le dimanche, le marché finit vers 14h30-15h. Il est assez compliqué de se garer à proximité. Les soirées commence vers 20h00 jusqu'à 02h. Elles accueillent des amateurs comme des passionnés, adultes de tous ages. Nous proposons des jeux de société contemporains. Ce ne sont généralement pas les gros standards que l'on trouve dans la grande distribution, mais des jeux d'auteur, qui se distinguent par une plus grande recherche d'originalité, de thème ou de mécanisme. Il y en a pour tous les goûts, quelle que soit votre expérience des jeux de société. Notre principal objectif, se faire plaisir en se réunissant autour d'un jeu. La première venue est bien entendue gratuite, ensuite la participation ponctuelle à une soirée est de 2€, la cotisation annuelle est de 30€.

This month, we are in-person at GameArena!!! Come to play and showcase your games. We're back in the upper levels of the catwalk mezzanine area. It'll be packed with lots of camaraderie playing your game(s) and other's games on the 2nd floor as well as the 1st floor in the gaming room below the mezzanine. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.

Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
