Whether you’re old or new to the club, we would love to have you join us! We are situated in the main bar area and have tables suitable for games taking 4-6 players. We encourage you to discuss any games you would like to play, or will be bringing in the chat. Please note we do not have a stock of games. We rely on members bringing their own games. 
Parking is available on some nearby streets. There is also some limited parking outside the venue. 
Attending members will be asked to pay £1 per Meetup (card/contactless only) to the club organisers. The fee helps pay for our Meetup subscription and venue memberships.

Welcome to the world of board gaming, if you’ve been before you know the score! If it’s your first time, please remember to read the description and rules, we don’t have many but there are some. We are a group of people who like to play (or learn) modern board games. From the highly technical to the simplest of games, from the seasoned gamer to the first timer, all are welcome. We cater for nearly all modern games as per our rules. We would be delighted if you wanted to join us, please don't fret if there is a long waitlist, this tends to disappear a day or two before the event, sometimes even on the day, so keep an eye out. Come have a drink, meet like minded friendly people and let the battles commence. If you have a game you would like to play, please mention it in the comments and see if others would like to join you. You can join one of the other games mentioned there already or even request that someone brings a game that you would really like to play. If you do bring a game, it would be great if you could teach it, but someone else might know it. If you don’t know the rules to any of the games being played, don’t worry too much, there are some great teachers here and they’ll let you know the rules to any game they’re playing. It would be best if you could be here by the start time, but if you can’t you could always let people know and they might wait for you to arrive before playing. Otherwise, you might have to wait for people to finish playing before you can join in another game. If you are new, please look for the person in the hi-vis jacket, or ask for one of the hosts, Rocky, Dori, Michele, Rafa or Rakshita and we will make sure you get into a game that suits you and your gaming level. IMPORTANT UPDATE: The event will take place in the National Theatre Welcome to London 2-player Playtests—a friendly meetup open to everyone interested in playing 2-player or solo games. You don't need to bring a game - we always love to have new playtesters! For designers: Whether your game is for TWO PLAYERS, a SOLO experience, or a larger game you’d like to test with fewer players, this event is for you. Come and play board games! We play all types of games on a Wednesday night, ranging from social deduction and lighter games to heavy euros and complex strategy titles. Beginners are very welcome, we'd love to see you! We'll always welcome you on the night and make sure we get you into a game, and we have plenty of players on hand happy to teach the rules to different games - so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with. We don't charge for attending the Meetup, but you will need to pay the Ludoquist's game session fee of £8 per person (unless you have a Gold or VIP [membership](https://www.theludoquist.com/collections/membership-2022)). Expect good rallies, steady tempo, and a chance to sharpen your skills while still keeping it social. I have a ping-pong table, and I'd like to share to play together. My table is outside, and I have proper rackets and balls. If the weather is not good, like raining or windy, the backup plan is board games, and I have a lot!

Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.
