Time for improv fun!
Welcome for some fun improv games together :)
About us: We are a bunch of people of all ages and backgrounds, gathering to share the common passion for improv.
Improvisation, or Improv for short, is a form of live theatre in which the story, characters and scenes are without a script and made up in the moment, completely different every time. The actors are acting, directing themselves, writing the plot and interacting with each other all at the same time without previous planning.
Improvisation can help you with your social and business skills by training your mind to think quickly and react to unexpected situations. In Improvisation, there are no lines to memorize and you play off other creatively challenged fun-loving, global-minded people who loves laughing at themselves.
Itâs a great way to socialize and make new friends. Itâs a welcoming atmosphere, we want you to join in the fun, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced improviser â come and lets enjoy together!
We usually start with some warm-ups that help us relax, listen and focus. Then we move on to doing different kinds of short scene fun games with each other, making characters, stories and our small worlds. In improv mistakes are welcome and you will have goooood times!
We charge 50 kr in advance in order to cover our expenses. Swish is king!
See you very soon ;) Please come only if you are in good health!

He later moved into leadership, focusing on technical strategy, system architecture at the organizational level, and team development.
Previously, he was a Tech Lead at Uber, where he worked on large-scale distributed systems using Go, Python, and Java."

8:30 PM: Talk 2: The Two Faces of sync.Mutex / Gaurav Gahlot, Staff Software Engineer @ IONOS Cloud
Go's sync.Mutex has two faces â one that's fast but unfair, and another that's fair but slower. Most developers never see the switch happen. In this talk, we'll explore how mutex work under the hood and how the runtime decides which face to show. Through a series of benchmarks, we'll observe mutex behavior under increasing contention and across different core counts to see both modes in action.

April meetup
Welcome to another exciting evening of NixOS!
If there are no speakers, we just hold a regular hack evening.
Room: ADA
## Details
Interested in NixOS? Maybe only its package manager Nix? Want to share how you (ab)use Nix(OS) in your own company? Join this NixOS user group meet-up!
Topic will be announced.
*Why NixOS?*
**NixOS The Purely Functional Linux Distribution**
NixOS is a Linux distribution with a unique approach to package and configuration management. Built on top of the Nix package manager ( nixos.org/nix ), it is completely declarative, makes upgrading systems reliable, and has many other advantages ( nixos.org/nixos/about.html ).
**Declarative**
NixOS has a completely declarative approach to configuration management: you write a specification of the desired configuration of your system in NixOSâs modular language, and NixOS takes care of making it happen.
**Reliable**
NixOS has atomic upgrades and rollbacks. Itâs always safe to try an upgrade or configuration change: if things go wrong, you can always roll back to the previous configuration.
Come join us for a cosy night of Nix(OS). There will be pizza, kindly sponsored by PROSA
Silvers Dinners: Share your Hobby with Lisbet and Michael
Lisbet and Michael organize a concept dinner for 8 guests at their home in Hørsholm, focusing on hobbies: what we build, make and do when we are fully in flow.
Lisbet Madsen built her career as a senior consultant and international team leader in global companies including Shell, Unilever and IBM. She worked throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia, advising management teams and leading complex transformation processes. Today she exhibits ceramics and visual arts: a continuation of her desire to create and communicate with precision.
Michael Regnarsen spent nearly two decades at IBM, specializing in systems architecture, requirements analysis, and application development. Known for his structured thinking and long-term approach, he now applies the same principles to the restoration of classic mahogany boats: a practical hobby based on patience, craftsmanship and engineering logic.

Here in Copenhagen we have started a movement of weekly dinners (on a Wednesday) hosted by the senior generation in their own homes.
Seniors with 60+ years of life experience who are community leaders, intellectuals, artists, storytellers, and want to share their experience over dinners for a small group each time.
Every Wednesday there is dinner hosted by a different Silver (senior host) who will open their front door, welcome a group of 5-8 people into their home, and share their stories, knowledge, and connections across the table over a themed evening.
Each host chooses their own theme and it is the aim to pass on their hard-earned knowledge.

Climbing @ Beta Sydhavn
**Hi everyone**
\*A few people has asked if they can join if the event is full, and of course. Just write a comment, so I have a overview.\*
Iâm David, and Iâd love to start a social bouldering club for anyone who wants to climb, hang out, and meet new people!
I will arrange a meetup climbing event every 2nd week or once a month, at different climbing gyms around the city.
The focus is on:
⢠Climbing and challenging ourselves
⢠Being social and building a fun community
⢠Training together â all levels welcome
Iâve been climbing for about 1.5 years, so Iâm still in my learning phase, but Iâm more than happy to help beginners get started and share the basics with anyone whoâs new.
We will start at **Beta Boulder at Sydhavn the 18 April @ 14.00** oâclock. If people want, we can go for a drink or a bit of food afterwards.
There will be a warm up and cool down, focusing on climbing and mobility. If you want to join in on that, otherwise drop in when ever.
If youâre interested in joining, just drop a comment.
Looking forward to climbing with you all!
**Short Overview of Boulder Gyms in Copenhagen and bouldering is:**
**Beta Boulders**
A modern and friendly gym with lots of different wall styles. Great for both beginners and experienced climbers, and thereâs a nice training area as well.
**Bison Boulders**
Located a bit outside the city, but very relaxed and welcoming. Good variety of routes and plenty of space. A calm, nice atmosphere.
**Boulders CPH**
One of the biggest and most popular bouldering gyms in Copenhagen. Many routes for all levels and a very social environment.
**What Is Bouldering?**
Bouldering is a type of climbing done at low heights â usually up to around 4â5 meters â **without ropes or harnesses**. Instead, there are thick mats on the floor for safety.
You only need climbing shoes, which you can rent, and maybe some chalk for your hands, that you can borrow from me.
Climbs are short âproblemsâ or routes that you try to solve using balance, technique, and strength. Some are easy, some are challenging, and you can always choose the level that fits you.
Bouldering is also very social â people often help each other, share tips, cheer each other on, and have fun together. Itâs perfect for meeting new people while getting a good workout.
