Welcome to the Winterthur Badminton Meetup! 🏸👊😉🍻 We’re an international group created for badminton fans in and around Winterthur. Open to Expats and Swiss folks who want to train and socialise with fellow ‘badmintonists’. Or perhaps you’d like to learn the sport and meet new people? Whether doing it for fun or fitness, the idea is to enjoy and have a great (kickass) midweek. And everyone is welcome to join us for a postgame drink or two! See yah! 😊 Important: We ask everyone to respect others who wish to play. That means dropping out if you won’t make it to the game by updating your RSVP. Keep in mind: RSVPs close at 21:00 two days before the event to give others enough time to plan. Anyone on the RSVP list who did not show up at the event is considered a "no-show". No-shows will still have to pay the shared cost of the court and shuttles. We keep track of no-shows and deprioritise them in future games. Please try your best to pay on the same day by Twint or in cash. With Twint, write in the comment the date and your name for reference. Cost will be around 12-20 CHF, depending on the amount of players joining and if we have to rent 1 or 2 courts. Bouldering is like a whole body puzzle! And if you never tried we would be happy to have you join us! And the best part is...it's fun and challenging at every level. It is Rock climbing without the ropes, but with lower heights and nice \*soft mats\* to break your fall. :) At Boulderlounge Schlieren we have many routes and skilled staff. We are usually a group of 10-15. And we usually meet at 19:00 at the entrance of Boulderlouge. Some come earlier and some later, but either way write in the chat (see below) and someone will be there to find you and welcome you! Be looking for Ana or Marco. Anything before 19:00 & you will have your seat of choice. **Q : What about the late show?** Depending on the turnout a late show is also available most of the time, please check the ticket page to see if there is a late show option. Basically if you can buy tickets to the late show, it's happening, if it's not an option for a ticket it's not! In this case you will recieve an e-mail telling you so. **Q : Can I refund my ticket?** There are no refunds allowed because it becomes too much work for a simple Comedy Open Mic, so only buy your ticket if you know you're for sure going to be able to make it. **3rd Annual Great Chili Cook Off**: Calling All Cooks! This is your shot at dethroning our 2-time repeat Chili Champion and claim the 1st place Chef's Cap and Apron for yourself. Second and Third place winners will also receive a cap and apron. This is often one of our more well-attended events so please RSVP early and come hungry.
