We meet on Saturdays late mornings to have a casual, meaningful conversation on topics of interest to everyone chosen on the spot by majority voting. So please feel free to propose your own topic! I have through deep learning in the field of eyesight gained knowledge about how our eyes work internally and how one can improve ones vision, through practical yet focused and specific eyesight exercises. In this event we will first go through the basics of the eyesight functions to later talk about very useful exercises which you can use to gradually improve eyesight. The event is open to everyone and not only for people with specific medical condition. Its also completely free of charge. You will take home very detailed exercises that can help you make your eyesight better, more comfortable to use and notice all the important signs of correct use of the eyes which will ensure sharp and joyfully eyesight experience. Come join us for an afternoon run/jog/walk. It will be an A to B trail and there will be a car to shuttle bags from A to B. We are not a typical running club, so please read about the concept in “about us”. How it works: we don’t know in advance where the trail will go, but we know it will be fun! A member of the club, the 'hare', sets a trail, usually marked with flour. The rest of us, the 'pack', follows the hare's 'scent', i.e., the marks. There will be a 8-10 km trail for runners with shortcuts down to 5-6 km for walkers and those who need a slower pace. We have no set pace - run/walk as slow or as fast as you'd like. After the run we enjoy some refreshments and socialize. All happens outside, so you need spare warm clothes for after the trail! Come a few minutes before the start so that you can say hi and leave your bag in a designated bag car before we set off at 14:30. Don’t worry if there are few registrations on Meetup. We have existed for 44 years, and a lot of our members (anywhere from 20 to 50 people) just show up. Four-legged friends are welcome! We never cancel. See you there!

We're a group of writers that meets up every Sunday for a productive writing session. **Here's how the meetup works:** * We gather together, grab some fika, and then we write for an hour. * After the hour is up, we spend some time chatting, sharing ideas and thoughts on writing, and discussing the challenges we've come across. Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at our Copenhagen Shut Up & Write! sessions. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, résumé, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. SCHEDULE: - 15 minutes of hellos and getting settled; maybe some quick intros. - Then, the timer starts! : writing for 1 hour. - After the hour is up... chat / take off / keep writing, if you're on a roll. OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens once the hour of writing is complete. Writing can be very solitary... connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. It's best to be on time, but BEING LATE IS ALSO OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check in with us after the session. (We’ll be the ones with the small Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. What Should I Bring? Whatever you need to be able to write!
