Les observer aux très hautes énergies permet d'explorer des processus physiques fondamentaux, comme les mécanismes d'accélération des particules et les processus radiatifs à l'œuvre dans les jets. 🔭 Dans ce contexte, les réseaux de télescopes au sol, capables de détecter la lumière Cherenkov produite par l'interaction des rayons gamma dans notre atmosphère, jouent un rôle clé.
