We’ll be working together **to remove invasive and non-indigenous plants** that threaten the native ecosystem. These species spread aggressively and outcompete the plants that local wildlife depends on. This time, we will focus on removing the **Butterfly Bush (Buddleja**). Although it provides nectar for adult butterflies, it is not a host plant for most native caterpillars. When invasive plants replace native vegetation, butterfly diversity declines and disrupt local ecosystems. Once we reach the ridge, we make a detour to a lookout point from which we can see Lake Zug. We then hike along the well-maintained path along the ridge for some time until we reach Albishorn.
