Franklin Method and Myofascial Training
Franklin Method and Myofascial Training
Be-weekly lessons with experienced practitioner Ingrid Wenger. We want to consciously experience movement together and give our bodies the attention they need. Everyone participates according to their abilities – together, yet each at their own pace. We work with balls, bands, music, but above all with our imagination and lots of fun. The training is based on the Franklin Method and Karin Gurtner's Slings Myofascial Training. The goal is to increase your physical well-being and open up a new connection to your body. It's wonderful to discover that you already possess many tools within yourself to enhance your quality of life. Simple and without much effort. ️ **This Meeting’s Theme: “Heritage”** Our heritage is the rich tapestry of traditions, stories, and cultures that make us who we are ‍♀️‍♂️. In public speaking, we honor this legacy every time we share a personal story or a lesson learned from our past. It’s the "why" behind our voice ! So, come ready to explore your roots, celebrate our shared Toastmasters traditions, and weave your unique story into the legacy of our club! \*\*\* You can **pay directly via Meetup**! For this meeting, we’re collecting **CHF 37**, which also includes a delicious dinner prepared by the restaurant. That’s dinner *and* personal growth in one go—what a deal! ️✨ Per default, you're in for the vegetarian option. If you want meat, let us know via PM before Sunday! \*\*\* \*\* Practice public speaking, sharpen your communication, and grow your leadership skills\*\* Ever wanted to feel more confident speaking in front of others? With over **16,600 clubs worldwide**, Toastmasters helps people reach their full potential as confident speakers and inspiring leaders. \*\*\* \*\* Welcome to Zuriberg Toastmasters Club\*\* We usually meet on the **2nd, 3rd, and 4th Tuesday** of each month in the beautiful **Zunftsaal** at *Restaurant Weisser Wind* in Zurich. (We’ll always notify you if there's a change in venue.) \*\*\* **️ What to expect at a meeting** Each meeting is hosted by the **Toastmaster of the evening**, who welcomes guests and introduces the *Word of the Day*. CHF 6. **How many people attend?** Usually between **20–30 people**, a mix of members and guests. Come for the skills, stay for the stories!

Korfball is a dynamic, no contact, mixed gender team sport. It pulls together aspects of netball, handball and basketball to form an unique and inclusive game. We will do some exercises, practice, play some games and have fun! :) Everyone is welcome to training, no experience required. Don't be misled by the low sign ups, our regulars don't use meet-up. We are usually 6-10 people.

WSH3 St Saddam's Anniversary H3
WSH3 St Saddam's Anniversary H3
This will be a special event as it's Saddams 40th hash anniversary! Meeting point will be at the lockers at the Winterthur train station and the on after tbd. Hare: Saddam. The trail has something for everyone - long for runners, with big short cuts for walkers. No desert, unfortunately, but there will be some other difficult terrain. You will be rewarded by a drink stop ;-). Background. The person now known as Saddam started hashing in Baghdad Iraq in March 86. At the time Iraq was a dictatorship at war, so there were occasional disturbances from stone-throwing locals, armed police and Iranian missiles. Hopefully none of these turn up in Winterthur. Hopefully no flesh eating camel spiders either. The biggest danger is likely to be visiting Zürich hashers. Hash cash: CHF 5

40th years of torturing hashers: Saddam 40th Year Hashiversary Code share hash with WSH3's event. Meet at Winterthur Bahnhof, leave clothes in a locker. On after at the Scotsman pub Hare: Saddam. The trail has something for everyone - long for runners, with big short cuts for walkers. No desert, unfortunately, but there will be some other difficult terrain. Background. The person now known as Saddam started hashing in Baghdad, Iraq in March 86. At the time Iraq was a dictatorship at war, so there were occasional disturbances from stone-throwing locals, armed police and Iranian Scud missiles. Hopefully none of these turn up in Winterthur. Hopefully no flesh eating camel spiders either. WHEN? Meet at 1:45pm to start at 2:00pm. There will be a charge of CHF5.00 for participating. /\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*\*/ Here's what you need to know about the Hash: **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • Physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the 'Beer Stop' at the end of the 'trail' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running) and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The 'Hare', which changes each event, cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • After Trail, we group for \~30-45 minutes for drinks, snacks and some fun. This 'Circle' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). **Why bother leaving your warm sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (Hashs) in most major cities. Its humour and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.* We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups. Hare (someone to set the route) is Ice Footsie. Come join us! By popular demand, bag drop and on after will be BIERlab - sometimes the hash can be a bit predictable... **When:** We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm. There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards. **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km.
