We are a group of runners who meet most weeks for a run around the beautiful Vltava River's edge. You can bring your running shoes straight from the office/home office if you don't have time to stop at home. There will be a place to put your bags in the Cafe. We will run about 9 km along the river and have a drink afterwards. Paces vary! We will meet in the square near Kavarna Liberal (Hermanova 6), near the Vltavska metro/tram stop at 6:30 on Wednesday. We will run a very scenic river section from Ledečko to the Sázava town, which is known for a monastery and the Kavalier glass-factory. *The trip is suitable for people who haven't canoed before as long as they can swim. You should also be somewhat physically coordinated and have patience to learn a new motor skill!* I'm NOT a certified instructor but I have taught countless people the basics of canoeing. DIFFICULTY: Easy to Medium (depending on the water level on the day) About 12 km / 8 miles. There are 3 weirs\* and some gentle rapids. \* A weir ('jez' in Czech) is a little dam regulating the flow of the river.
