The weekend is supposed to be pretty...warm, so there is no better way to spend the time than in a cooler place - in the mountains where we can expect around 25°C, and finish a relaxed pace hike with cooling down - in the beautiful, clean, natural peaty water. PLEASE TAKE FOOD and MAINLY ENOUGH WATER with you for the whole day. There is nothing in the mountains! I've made the trail 14 km long so it's not too tough, we don't have to rush, and have more time to enjoy the lake. We will have to walk a few more km for the bus, but only after we have taken a dip and refreshed! The plan is to canoe some 12km/8 miles from the small town of Zbečno in the protected landscape area **Křivoklátsko**. The route is suitable for beginners. *You can join even if you haven’t canoed before as long as you can swim. You should also be somewhat physically coordinated and have patience to learn a new motor skill!* I’m **not** a certified instructor however, I have taught countless people the basics of canoeing. LOGISTICS We will meet on Saturday 20th of June at **8:30** in front of the main ticket office at the Prague Main Railway Station. We’ll be aiming to be back in Prague by **19:00**. However, we will be as fast as the slowest members of our group and an unexpected delay is possible.
