🎉 Social Night At Fast Eddie’s! Games, Good Vibes & Easy Conversations
Looking to meet new people in a relaxed, low-pressure setting? Come hang out with a friendly, welcoming group for a fun night of games, drinks, and genuine conversations. We’ll be meeting behind the main bar near the ping pong table at Fast Eddie’s. This isn’t a loud, overwhelming party—it’s a laid-back social where it’s easy to talk, laugh, and actually connect. Whether you come solo or bring friends, you’ll be welcomed and introduced to others throughout the night. 🎯 What to expect: • Casual games like pool, ping pong, darts, cornhole, axe throwing and more • A mix of regulars and new faces • A hosted experience (We’ll help introduce people so no one feels left out) • A friendly, respectful group focused on making new friends 💡 First time coming? Totally normal—many people show up solo. We’ll make sure you meet a few people right away so you’re not standing around wondering what to do. 👯‍♀️ Bringing friends is always a great idea, and helps keep the group fun and social. ⏰ We usually get a good mix of people arriving within the first hour, so coming early helps you settle in and meet others easily. ⸻ ⚠️ Housekeeping: Please be respectful of everyone attending. This is a social event so good vibes only. Standard disclaimer: The host of this event and meetup are not liable for any injuries, loss of funds, or any type of unfortunate event that happens to any attendees/participants of the meetup.

Are you looking to make new climbing friends and meet belay partners? Hello and welcome! This is one of our weekly climbing events\. We will pair you with experienced climbers and they can belay you. We can also teach you the basics of belaying if you would like to attempt to get certified (to be able to belay others). **Note that Mesa Rim only allows assisted-brake belay devices such as Gri Gris. If you have an ATC, you can borrow an ABD at the front desk.** \-\-\- **Please also read the below carefully:** FIRST TIME AT MESA RIM? * You should plan to arrive 15 minutes early so you can fill waivers and rent gear if needed, and also get top-rope certified. If you are new and think you will be late, please let the organizer know. WAITLISTED? While we don't turn anyone away, as a matter of courtesy you should message one of the organizers to make sure they can accommodate you. KEEP YOUR RSVP UPDATED! Our events have limited spots, so if you RSVP and then find out you cannot make it, change your RSVP to no. Serial offenders of this policy may be removed from the group entirely.

The Secret Meetup
The Secret Meetup
Join us for The Secret Meetup, a semi-monthly board game night at The Secret Lantern Books & Games in Cedar Park! It’s called The Secret Meetup, so you probably shouldn’t tell anyone 🤫 (…but you should absolutely tell people though).

We’re a safe, friendly, inclusive, and diverse group. New players are always welcome — we’re happy to teach games and help you find a table.

🕕 Games start at 6:00 pm and go until 10:00 pm.

📅 First meetup: Monday, March 9. This is a pilot, so potentially every other Monday after that!

📍The Secret Lantern Books and Games in Cedar Park. Housed in a former bank, this shop is now the very definition of “cozy.” Think comfy upholstered furniture, warm lighting, and tucked-away corners, perfect for settling into a long game. And yes — there’s a Vault Room, complete with massive steel door and spinning wheel handle, now reborn as one of the coolest places around to plot your next heist— err, move.

⏰ Good to know:
• You’re welcome to arrive earlier to hang out or play, but games will definitely start at 6:00 pm.
• The store opens at 10:00 am — if you want to make a whole game day of it, leave a comment!
• Coffee drinks and light food are available for purchase at the store — please support our host venue.

🎲 What to bring:
• Your favorite board games (optional)
• Or just bring yourself — there’s always room to join in

Whether you’re brand new to board games or a seasoned player, come roll some dice, learn something new, and enjoy a great Monday night with awesome people.
Coffee and Craft
Coffee and Craft
Join us for Monday morning coffee, crafting and conversation! Bring what ever portable project you are working on. If you are new to the craft there are usually folks to help you learn. There are a variety of coffee and tea items and a tiny selection of pastry items. Pineview Coffee Company is a small yet spacious coffee shop on the 1st floor inside the Aspen Lake Amenity building. There is only a small sign by the door that has the name of the coffee shop so it can be a little challenging to find. Hope to see you there! PS unofficially part of this group meets here every Monday so come what ever week you can.

Bring a whiteboard or a laptop or a piece of paper. We will be solving 1 easy and 1 medium problem on LeetCode. We have no rules for being late or leaving early, you can be late and start from the second problem or do the first one and leave. The main idea is to work together on it, share thoughts and discuss a solution. For those who don't like the time pressure during the session, I will be posting problems in the comments for the session 1 day in advance.
The 13th Annual Keep Austin Agile Conference
The 13th Annual Keep Austin Agile Conference
**The world keeps changing. Fast. The question is whether your approach is.** KAA 2026 is where Agile practitioners, leaders, and builders come to work through what's actually hard right now: delivering real value, building trust across teams, and figuring out where AI fits without losing the human system underneath it. This isn't a theory conference. The speakers are doing the work. Our keynote, **Kevin Koym**, has helped over 6,500 entrepreneurs across 42 countries build something real. He founded Tech Ranch Austin. He's seen what stalls people and what moves them. If you're building something, leading something, or still figuring out what comes next, his talk is worth your whole morning. The rest of the lineup covers leadership, product, teams, and technology. Talks and workshops. Practitioners and executives. A room full of people who take this seriously. **If that sounds like your kind of day, purchase tickets here:** [https://www.agileaustin.org/kaa-2026-ticket-info](https://www.agileaustin.org/kaa-2026-ticket-info) Want to see who's speaking first? Meet other Algorithmic Traders, Day Traders, Option Traders and Investors
Meet other Algorithmic Traders, Day Traders, Option Traders and Investors
Note this is for informational and educational purposes. Not financial or tax advice **see detailed disclaimer below**. We will discuss trading and investing strategies, as well as the skills needed to start. It is a **casual meetup to meet people who are interested in trading or building a career around it, especially algorithmically. No "financial gurus" are welcome.** Join us for a meetup where we share trading ideas, and connect with others who share a common interest in investing. Algorithmic trading is commonly used by large institutional investors and market makers, but it is also accessible to retail traders. It offers several advantages over manual or discretionary approaches—particularly in minimizing psychological errors that often impact human traders. Some of the topics we usually discuss: \- Reasons for investing \- Limitations of being a retail trader \- Practical tools: brokers\, APIs\, data sources\, real\-time implementation \- Brainstorming ideas: strategies that may be working today **Note this even is not sponsored or endorsed by any business where we are meeting. We are just using their space for casual meetup event.** **Please no promotion of MLM, pyramid schemes, self promotion to paid services, affiliate promotion, paid subscriptions or similar stuff.** **Useful Links** * Notion page of [Algo Trading Resources](https://systemetic.notion.site/Algorithmic-Trading-Resources-fe400c5258e440fd8a4d63770d08bc13) * [Telegram Channel Invite](https://t.me/+sRLNt-7THMsxMGFh) * ===================================================================== **Disclaimer:** This meetup is for educational and informational purposes only and should not be construed as professional financial advice. Thursday Night Write-In
Thursday Night Write-In
**Goal**: Connect with fellow writers looking for social and moral support--and to get at least 1+ hours of solid writing done. **Structure**: 1. We begin with 15-20 minutes of discussion: about writing, what we're working on, who we are. This is just about connecting with each other as people and creators. 2. We finish with 1+ hours of quiet writing time: head's down, at our own pace. Just like if we're at home, only in a public space and with company! **Vibe**: This is a no pressure, no judgement writing group. Unlike many writing groups, there won't be sharing, reading, or critiquing (you are welcome to meet up separately for that purpose). We talk, then we write! **Projects**: Any project (novels, articles, poems, scripts--whatever) at any stage. Many of us cycle through projects, so there's a little bit of everything, every time. Come when you can, stay as long as you want. This is for you, just among friends. :)

This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. Contra dance with Big Scioty April 11 - Clinton Heights Lutheran church
Contra dance with Big Scioty April 11 - Clinton Heights Lutheran church
**Caller: Kim Thompson** **Band: Full Moon Country Dance Orchestra** **Clinton Heights Lutheran Church** **15 Clinton Heights Ave, Columbus, OH 43202** WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner. Cost is $10.00 adults, $5.00 ages 12-26. Under 12 free. Free parking in church lot. For more information contact me or check out our website: [www.bigscioty.com](http://www.bigscioty.com/) Please bring your own refillable water bottle.

This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise. We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration. Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team. **YouTube Link** TBD
