My approach is allowing one-on-one time with the model in a small group with a laissez-faire style, not intruding on the creative process or micromanaging. I want to be helpful without choking your creativity. People with different experience levels mix in the group, so I will ask how I can help, where you are at in your photography and if there is anything you wish to improve or if there is anything you like to try. Perhaps you just want to get your camera out, get confidence, practice and shoot, and that's fine too! If you want to test or learn something, I will help you; if you need advice, I will help you too, and if you just want to shoot and have a good time, that's great too! There are some stylish props, in particular chairs and a sofa on concrete floors. You are welcome to bring your own lights and props if you wish. We will assist each other, making it a great day to try and test. Suitable for beginners and experienced photographers. Shoot for practice, fun or your portfolio. Any advice or help that you need please just ask on the day. We will shoot in a small group of approx 4 in turns and helping each other. Film cameras and video recording are welcome. The stated number of attendeed is a target rarely missed, most often could be lower if bookings are low or in rare occassions higher due to the different booking platforms not synchonising, arrangements will be made if it is deemend by the organiser to significantly impact the smooth running of the workshop. **Usage**: as the photographer you have the copyright, models sign a model release form that allows the photographers in the workshop to use the photos for personal, portfolio, social media, art, competitions, magazines... **Not allowed usage** : stock photography, associated with third party brands, demeaning and deep fake including adult content. You can take a screen shot of the release free of charge on the day of the shoot, if you need a copy afterwards there is a £10 admin fee. Occasionally you might be recorded in behind the scenes videos, like the instagram stories that we post or the like with an effort to preserve your privacy but if you mind it just make it known by sending me a direct message and you wont appear in any recording.

Join us on an amazing day to photograph **the world's most iconic prehistoric monument, Stonehenge**, at golden hour & sunset! We'll spend several hours on site, making the most of what nature has to offer as the light changes. We'll be shooting from the north and east aspects of Stonehenge, which is the most attractive side and also perfect in winter as the sun sets in a south-westerly direction, thus giving us our best chances of colour in the sky! **Please note:** **Entry into Stonehenge itself isn't included** (as not all participants wish to go in for closer shots). For those wishing to, the entry price is currently around £25, and you can book online through English Heritage (our ETA at Stonehenge is 1:30 PM). Message me if you require more details. Situated on the Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, the early henge was built around 5,000 years ago & the unique stone circle was erected in the late Neolithic period, \~ 2,500 BC, with final modifications estimated to have been made around 1,500 BC. Stonehenge consists of an outer circle of 30 standing stones called "sarsens", which surround five huge stone arches in a horseshoe shape. There were also two circles made of smaller "bluestones" – one inside the outer circle & one inside the horseshoe – as well as four "station stones" positioned outside the central monument. Don't have a telephoto lens & want to take some close-up pics like the sample shots? We've got you covered, as we'll have multiple camera setups and lenses available to borrow if requested (please let me know when booking). Accessible-format life drawing and portrait session with a range of poses from 2 minute tutor-led warm up exercises to 15 mins in the first half of the class with general tips and tuition. In the second half, a long portrait pose of 35-40 mins with a demo/draw-along led by tutor Rod who will show and talk through the process of drawing a portrait in front of the class. There is the option of doing a life drawing or a portrait as the model will be fully nude throughout. One-to-feedback given where required. Material and half-time tea provided.

**On Sunday 1st February, we’re really excited to be heading back to the Tate Modern for our latest fast-paced, Photo Scavenger Hunt.** Yep we'll be returning to London's most famous modern art Gallery for one of our most unique afternoons of social fun. If you've not been to one of these before, our photo hunts are a unique mix of a fast-paced **Scavenger Hunt** and **Where’s Wally?,** set in one of the world’s most famous galleries. We’ve curated a fresh selection of intriguing background characters, unusual objects and eye-catching snippets in the paintings across the gallery. And your team’s mission is to **locate as many of them as you can** within the allotted time. To help you find them, you’ll be armed with clues and photo hints, but they are designed to be easy to miss - so you’ll need to keep your wits about you and your eyes peeled. And that’s not all - there’ll also be extra creative challenges along the way, giving your team the chance to bag valuable bonus points. The team with the most points by the end of the night will be crowned the winners, with **some great prizes up for grabs.** And once the hunt wraps up, we’ll head back to the pub to grab a drink, crown the winners and hand out the prizes. We'll also then be keeping the fun going, by getting out our huge collection of board games for you to enjoy with your new friends!
