Introducing The Best Group ๐ŸŽพ
Introducing The Best Group ๐ŸŽพ
What if a tennis class became the easiest way to meet new people? **The Best Group** combines structured, level-based tennis group classes with an optional social matching experience. Here's how it works: ๐ŸŽพ Join a tennis group class with players of a similar level ๐Ÿค Having joined a class, you can choose to be matched with **three other people you've never met before** for dinner. The difference? **Everyone at the table will already have completed a tennis group class with The Best Group.** Instead of meeting complete strangers with nothing in common, everyone shares the same experience, making conversations feel far more natural from the very beginning. Think of it as a Timeleft-style social experienceโ€”but with a built-in shared connection before you ever sit down for dinner. **Join the waitlist for early access:** [https://thebestgroup.base44.app/](https://thebestgroup.base44.app/)

Our Fourty-First Walk!
Our Fourty-First Walk!
Hello everyone! Place to Meet: Great World MRT Passenger Service Control Centre Time: 5pm 1\. Dinner at Great World MRT 2\. Walk along River Valley Rd/Kim Seng Rd/Outram Rd/Cantonment Rd/Anson Rd/Robinson Rd/Marina Boulevard/Raffles Ave/Nicoll Highway/Crawford Street/Sims Ave before ending at Aljunied MRT\. The route may be modified during the walk to better suit the groupโ€™s pace and fitness levels. The organizers will make adjustments as needed to ensure the walk remains enjoyable and manageable for all participants. Do drop me a message via whatsapp or via meetup if you will be late. You may consider the following: 1\. Comfortable Clothing โ€ข Moisture-wicking fabrics: Avoid cotton, as it traps moisture and causes chafing. Instead, choose clothing made from materials like polyester, nylon, or merino wool, which keep you dry.โ€ฉโ€ฉ โ€ข Comfortable socks: Opt for moisture-wicking socks with cushioning to reduce the risk of blisters. 2\. Proper Footwearโ€ฉโ€ฉ โ€ข Well-fitting shoes: Ensure your shoes are properly broken in and provide enough support, especially if you're walking long distances. Sturdy hiking or walking shoes with good arch support are ideal.โ€ฉโ€ฉ โ€ข Blister prevention: Consider blister-resistant socks or pack blister pads to address any discomfort before it becomes a problem. 3\. Hydrationโ€ฉโ€ฉ โ€ข Water bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the walk to maintain energy levels and prevent dehydration. 4\. Snacksโ€ฉโ€ฉ โ€ข Energy bars or trail mix: Portable, nutrient-packed snacks high in carbohydrates and proteinโ€”perfect for refueling during breaks.โ€ฉโ€ฉ โ€ข Nuts or dried fruit: Easy to carry and great for providing long-lasting energy. 5\. If you feel unwell at any point, please inform the organizer and discontinue participation. Walking involves inherent risks, including the potential for personal injury. Shut Up & Write!ยฎ East Side Columbus
Join us for an hour of writing! Weโ€™ve discovered that itโ€™s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if itโ€™s true for you at 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 11 at Streetlight Guild. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. **BEING LATE IS OKAY:** just show up and get settled! If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. Happy writing & I look forward to seeing you at Streetlight Guild! **WHAT SHOULD I BRING?** Whatever you need to be able to write! This helps me know how many to expect, and if we'll need additional space! * **COVID:** While masks are not required, please be mindful of the other writers around you and their comfort levels. * **WIFI/OUTLETS:** Outlets are limited, so please ensure your devices are charged when you come! But Streetlight Guild does have free WiFi! Yay! * **PARKING:** There is free public parking at Streetlight Guild.
