Come pull up a chair, grab a drink, and join a friendly bunch of curious minds for some thoughtful conversation. This group is all about creating a relaxed, welcoming space where we can explore meaningful questions together. No lectures, no gatekeeping, just a chance to hear different perspectives, share your own, and maybe walk away with a few new ideas (or at least a better question than the one you started with). No philosophy background required, just an open mind and a willingness to chat (or just listen). Each session loosely centers on a topic picked by the group from suggestions we all pitch in (via a dedicated WhatsApp group). Themes can range from love and hate, to society and politics, family and friendship, harmony and conflict, and beyond. For those interested, you're welcome to join the WhatsApp group - just ask Nicolas, Det or Reinier at one of the meetings.

The writing will be done in focused time blocks, with short breaks in between — offering space for those who wish to share insights, reflections, or simply connect in conversation. Come for clarity. **28th February Nude Art Class – Drawing and/or Painting – Grand Hospice** Welcome to the sixth session of the nude drawing and painting classes, which will take place at Grand Hospice, in Brussels city centre, until June 2026! When: Saturday 28th February, **1.45 - 4.30 pm**. The class will focus on drawing and painting the human figure, using both previously seen and new live models. We will continue studying the human figure, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with multiple poses and different posing times, and objects integrated in the composition. Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting, this art class is open to all skill levels! Two tickets possible: only with **drawing material**, or **drawing + painting** material. On 26.02.2026 we visit Atelier 210 in Etterbeek for the **Science & Cocktails #44** **Lendert Gelens + Noisy Nuns (be)** The idea is to explore the more alternative art scene of Brussels. Every living cell is a bustling, self-organizing system where countless molecules cooperate without a master plan. In our lab, we explore this mystery by taking frog eggs apart and watching their molecular “soup” come alive again — forming nuclei, dividing, and even building simple cell-like structures. By combining experiments with physical modeling and computer simulations, we uncover some of the hidden rules that let life build itself and adapt to changing environments. Such work forces us to think differently about life’s origins and what it takes for matter to become living. What makes something alive? **Noisy Nuns (be)** Noisy Nuns are two women sweating behind their keyboards and drums, combining raw energy with incisive melodies. They have both cut their teeth in the Belgian rock scene, working on projects such as Moaning Cities, Von Dead, SOROR, Dario Mars... and decided, with Noisy Nuns, to create a more personal project, giving free rein to their instincts.
