Creative afternoon – Basic knitting and earring making 🧶 📌 Rathmines Library (upstairs) Saturday, 13 June 2026 🕰️ 11AM-3PM In this double trouble workshop you can choose their own creative endeavour: We will bring supplies and inspiration to make earrings with some lovely beads. On a different table, one of our facilitators will provide a basic introduction to knitting. You're also most welcome to bring along your existing project (creative or not) to work on in our excellent company😉 The atmosphere is very relaxed and chatty. We will provide tea and coffee as well as some home-made snacks. This is a joint effort, so feel free to bring along some materials or baked goods you think others would also enjoy 🌸 Note: if you are unable to stay for the entire event, you can leave at any point :)

However, if you bring your camera we can test it for compatibility with the studio lights.* Bondage elements can add an extra layer of emotion and artistry to your images. Sample images on the internet are however dominated by BDSM style shots that are often sexualized and emphasize the model being in distress. In this demonstration Rachel and I show ways to use bondage elements in an artistic way. We explore the types of accessories that work best in artistic images and the best way to photograph them. Our model is Rachel Adams, an internationally known fetish model with many years of experience in this genre.

We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome!
