Have you been wanting to get better photographs of yourself but your phone is just not doing it? Then this event is for you. I’m organising this event with other photographers, and I thought I’d share it here as well so more people who want their portraits taken can join. The event will be taking place in Dublin city centre. The exact location will be announced closer to the date. All photos provided by the photographers will be free of charge

I saw somebody else do this, and thought it was a great idea A photo walk for those who want to take photographs and for those who want to get their photos taken We will grab some pics at some of Dublins spots. Great if you’re a photographer looking to get some practice in portrait photography or if you’d like to go home with some great pics of u. All photographs provided will be free. Towards the end we can all go to a pub/cafe and review the photos (optional). I have a few spots in mind and would be very happy to get more suggestions

Life Drawing Session, Saturday afternoons 12-3pm in lovely Dublin City centre studio, with huge south facing bay windows and loads of natural light. Easels, drawing boards, all art materials and tea and coffee included. Join the group for coffee, a chat and bring your project upstairs in Starbucks on Westmoreland Street from 12-2.30pm (or sometimes longer!). There is a lift for those with mobility issues but please check with staff if it's working. A relaxed belly dance-inspired movement session in Dublin city centre. This class is an accessible movement practice designed to support wellbeing, posture, and gentle full-body fitness. However, if you bring your camera we can test it for compatibility with the studio lights.* Bondage elements can add an extra layer of emotion and artistry to your images. Sample images on the internet are however dominated by BDSM style shots that are often sexualized and emphasize the model being in distress. In this demonstration Rachel and I show ways to use bondage elements in an artistic way. We explore the types of accessories that work best in artistic images and the best way to photograph them. Our model is Rachel Adams, an internationally known fetish model with many years of experience in this genre.

We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome!
