Lousy & Lazy SC - Mixed Friendly Football
Lousy & Lazy SC - Mixed Friendly Football
Do you like to play football - but relaxed and not with competitive or aggressive players? Are you a bit lazy, a bit old, a bit unfit or not so talented? Are you tired of insecure bros who only want to show off their skills? **Then [Lousy & Lazy Football](https://www.instagram.com/landlsc/) is the right thing for you!** We are a group of friendly people who just want to have a relaxed kick. All genders, ages (+18) and nationalities welcome. **Feel free to join the waitlist even if it seems long - sometimes we make the event larger and play on two pitches (24 players, four teams) or even three pitches (36 players, six teams), depending on demand.** Note: **We do not allow high-studded football boots during our sessions.** To avoid injuries, we only play with "Multinocken" (multistuds) or shorter. Please have a look here: [link](https://www.11teamsports.com/de-de/fussballschuhe/multinocken/). Rules for lazy & lousy football 1. **Don’t be competitive** 2. **No hard tackling/sliding challenges** 3. **Support new players by giving them the time and space to play the ball** 4. **Don’t dribble past multiple players (trying to take on a player is fine but at no point should you be trying to dribble past multiple players).** 5. **Don’t close down the defenders too quickly. Give the team a chance to play the ball out.** 6. **Rotate the goalkeeper** 7. **Be a teamplayer** Waiting list: This meetup is for members of the Lousy & Lazy Sport Club. If you want to try out our lousy & lazy sport events, you can do a trial run (Probetraining).
Session 19: Hope
Session 19: Hope
Hi! Welcome to Thought Experiments in Pubs - Berlin edition, where you get to have deep conversations with people you've never met. The topic will be Hope. I'll post some questions that will guide us through the topic as a comment on the day. **Location:** [Atopia Kaffeehaus, Prenzlauer Allee 187, 10405 Berlin](https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ukuup9CTrmedrB6f9) *Please consider that the locations we visit do not charge us for our booking, so in return, please make sure to show your appreciation by buying drinks or snacks. - If you're signed up but can't make the event, please cancel so someone else can take your spot *Make sure you check the right address, there is a sister pub nearby and it's not that one ☝️ **The idea:** A chance to meet and talk at a 'deeper' level, and skip the 'small talk'. **How will it work?** We will have a set of 'Thought Experiments', short, philosophical scenarios and questions, which will be discussed in groups. The conversation will flow freely, there are no strict rules, simply share and discuss your perspectives on the given topic. The thought experiments will be posted here ahead of the event. **Who should come?** Everyone! We believe that the more perspectives, the richer the conversation. This group is not about being experts in philosophy, it is about *doing* philosophy. That is, bringing our various life experiences and lenses on the world to group discussions about the human experience, the nature of reality... etc. **Do I need to bring anything?** No! Just an open, inquisitive mind. We will do 3 rounds of discussions. After the event, I would love to hear your feedback on the session. The thought experiments we will discuss are around the theme of the day. Prompts will be posted here on the day of the event. See you soon! \- Dirk *Thought Experiments in Pubs Berlin is inspired by [Thought Experiments in Pubs London](https://www.meetup.com/thought-experiments-in-pubs/), which originated in 2023 as a social experiment to get people together to connect at a deeper level. Business Netzwerken Berlin in Moabit am 5. Mai um 8:45 Uhr
!!! Please note that this meetup will be held entirely in German only !!!

Is there no alternative to capitalism?
Is there no alternative to capitalism?
**Please note that we invite people through different channels, so there are more attendees than you can see here :)** What do we think about capitalism in 2026? Do we see it as the only system that has ever worked — or as the root cause of all our problems? And let’s dare to think beyond the current system: What might a good and realistic system look like in the future? Would it be capitalism with some adjustments or a totally different system? In this discussion, we’ll quickly look at some of the most prominent perspectives on capitalism — and then discuss what realistic and desirable alternatives might look like. This event is part of the series The Discussion Experiment in which we try out new methods for more focused and meaningful discussions. This time we’re guests at the Schöneberg Central Library. Find out more in the FAQ below and join us! **This is a free event.** +++++++++ **FAQ** ***What can I expect from this event?*** Each event is an experiment, so it’s hard to predict exactly how it will unfold or feel. We aim to create a relaxed and thought-provoking atmosphere in which we explore various aspects and perspectives of the topic together. At the start of the discussion, we’ll introduce some special rules designed to make the conversation slower, but also more focused and clear. ***Who is this event for?*** This event is for anyone who is interested in the topic and/or the concept. We want to create a space where people of all ages, identities and backgrounds feel welcome. You don’t need to prepare anything, have strong opinions, or be extroverted to participate. ***Do I need to actively participate, or can I just listen?*** It’s completely fine to just listen. You can decide for yourself at any time how active you want to be, and apart from a brief round of introductions, you won’t be asked to say anything. There may however be small group phases — short sections where all participants discuss in groups of 2–3 people. You’re not required to take part in these and can use the time for a break instead. ***How long does the event last?*** The event lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours. ***Is the venue wheelchair accessible?*** Yes. This event takes place at the Schöneberg Central Library, which is wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately this isn’t always the case, as we host events at various locations. We therefore recommend always checking the FAQs before attending. ***What is the "Discussion Experiment"?*** The Discussion Experiment is an ongoing event series in which we continuously test methods that enable meaningful and inspiring group conversations. Among other things, we experiment with techniques that slow down discussions, promote clarity and help participants feel better heard. This event is one of four discussions we’re hosting at the Schöneberg Central Library. All events are free and open to everyone — we warmly invite you to join us. You can find more information on our homepage.

Mindful Photography Walk – A Gentle Pause in Nature
Mindful Photography Walk – A Gentle Pause in Nature
Join me for a small, mindful photography walk in nature. (**NOTE Time is 9:00 AM EST(Meetup is having technical Issue))** This is a slow, intentional gathering — not focused on fitness or perfect photography — but on simply pausing, observing, and being present. We’ll walk at a gentle pace, with moments of quiet, and a few light prompts to help you notice details you might normally miss. 📷 You don’t need any photography experience — a phone camera is enough. This is also not a business networking event. It’s a calm space to connect with nature and, if it feels natural, with like-minded people. 🌿 What to expect: • A slow-paced, relaxed walk • Moments of silence and observation • Simple reflection prompts 📍 Location: [ Red Trabue Nature Preserve] ⏱ Duration: \~60 minutes This is a small, initial gathering as I begin creating this space through WellGratiVibes — a blend of mindfulness, nature, and quiet connection. If this resonates with you, you’re welcome to join.

If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.
