*DWeb Camp 2026: Root Systems is a five-day gathering in nature for builders and dreamers dedicated to building a decentralized web (DWeb). A web that is private, resilient, and beyond the control of a few central powers. Like forests, decentralized systems derive strength from what lies beneath the surface: dense networks of roots, sharing resources without hierarchy, and coordination that persists even when individual nodes disappear.*
*DWeb Camp: Root Systems invites participants to build technologies that–like living ecosystems–adapt, regenerate, and endure.*
*The event will be held at Alte Hölle, just one hour southwest of Berlin. The venue sits on the grounds of a forest hotel dating back to the 1800s. Once a Stasi recreation site, Alte Hölle is now owned and inhabited by a collectivist community of friends who are turning this space into a sustainable venue for group events of technologists, hackers, artists, and activists. Set on 100,000 square meters of lush meadows and ancient forests, Alte Hölle is both a community and location with values that resonate deeply with DWeb, a place we are excited to nourish and leave richer than when we arrive.*

## **Welcome to KREATIV UNTAPPED #1 Storytelling Untapped w/ Ben Sauer**
## **A hands-on session. No slides. Just your stories.**
We couldn't be more excited to tap into this with you at **[Thoughtworks Berlin](https://www.thoughtworks.com/en-de/about-us/locations/berlin)**.
\*\*\*
**KREATIV UNTAPPED** is a creative playground born in Berlin – and we're kicking off with the discipline that sits at the heart of every other one: **storytelling.**
Because here's what AI can't replace: the human desire to create. Creativity is what makes us uniquely human — it's a muscle, and like any muscle, it needs training. Most of us have stopped.
**KREATIV UNTAPPED** is where we change that — through hands-on sessions with working practitioners across visual arts, tactile crafts, narrative & sound, and spatial & performative disciplines.
**This evening** is about words, voice, and presence. In a world full of decks, dashboards and screens, we've forgotten how to just… tell a story. This evening is a practice in putting the slides away and using the oldest tools we have — your voice, your hands, your story.
**Expect a short provocation from [Ben](https://bensauer.net/), a hands-on session with a sketching element to flex that creative muscle, a round of group sharing, and time to actually meet the people in the room.**
**Who's this for?** Anyone with a story to tell — and the willingness to tell it without a slide deck.
No job title. No prior experience. Just the willingness to tap in.
Creativity untapped. Connection for real.

Deep Work, Real Impact - Reclaiming Focus in a World of Endless Tasks
✨ Women in Agile Berlin Event ✨
Deep Work, Real Impact – Reclaiming Focus in a World of Endless Tasks
Somewhere, not that far away, a talented woman is not struggling because she lacks skill, ambition, or drive…
…but because her day is filled with everything except the work that truly matters.
Admin. Coordination. Emotional labor.
The invisible glue that keeps everything running, but slowly pulls focus away from real impact.
Have you ever ended a full day and wondered:
👉 What did I actually move forward today?
👉 Why does being “busy” not feel meaningful?
👉 When was the last time I worked with real, uninterrupted focus?
The idea that some people are “natural multitaskers” sounds like praise, but in reality, it often hides a system that rewards constant availability over meaningful contribution.
At our next Women in Agile Berlin event, Saskia Ruschke will explore why deep, focused work is one of the most powerful, and most underprotected, resources we have.
✨ Together, we will explore:
• Why constant task switching drains more than just time
• How invisible work quietly takes over our days
• What it really takes to protect focus in modern work environments
• Practical ways to create space for deep work again
👉 What would change if your focus was truly protected?
👉 What kind of impact could you create then?
Join us for an evening of reflection, practical tools, and honest conversation.

**Learning about boundaries and communication**.
If you have not yet attended a workshop on Consent in the Village, now is the time! This workshop is highly recommended for anyone wishing to visit our project on a regular basis, or to attend one of our workshops. This experience will not only help you navigate within the we.are.village community, but it will also equip you to carry these values into your life.
Being aware of your boundaries and expressing your consent or non-consent are essential skills in life, but we don’t often get a chance to actually practice consent skills in the same way we practice other skills, like singing, playing sports or learning a language.
Consent is about much more than a simple yes or no. When we deconstruct consent, we discover how to communicate our true desires and stop choosing the things we actually don’t want. Through discussion, movement and partner games, we will build tools to express and negotiate physical desires and set boundaries through the use of practical exercises. This workshop is inclusive and welcoming to individuals of all body sizes, genders, and background.
This is a non-sexual workshop, and great, low pressure situation in which to practice communication and touching. It’s as much about how to truly say yes and mean it as it is about saying no!
If you have not yet attended a workshop on Consent in the Village, now is the time! This experience will not only help you navigate within the we are village community, but it will also equip you to carry these values into your life. Together, we aim to nurture a consent-centered community with shared values, emphasizing individual responsibility in upholding these principles. Our ultimate goal is to foster healthy relationships and create an inclusive community for a better, more connected future.

Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games!
The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Not only is it a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and make friendships that'll last a lifetime!
Ask yourself if you want to join the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**, and say "Yes, And" that you'll have fun!

Engaging in men’s work is the new way to forge friendships while being open-minded to personal growth. Many men experience healthier relationships, personally and professionally, by engaging in this work.
Open Men’s Group is a container for men to share vulnerably without receiving judgment or feedback.
We believe that emotionally mature, powerful, compassionate, and purpose-driven men will help heal some of society’s deepest wounds. We support the powerful brilliance of men and we are willing to look at, and take full responsibility for, the pain we are also capable of creating – and suffering. We care deeply about men, our families, communities, and the planet.
