We'll start with short introductions from everyone attending. The only important thing is to really like music. I am not a professional musician. „Weird“ sounds are welcome. (Like the title says this Jam Session is only for FLINTA\*. In case you are not included I also organize Jam Sessions that are for everyone and you can sign up here: [https://www.meetup.com/open-jam-session-for-everyone/](https://www.meetup.com/open-jam-session-for-everyone/))

Maestro Impro International
Maestro Impro International
Get ready for a unique theatrical experience inspired by the improvisation pioneer Keith Johnstone and licensed by the International Theatresports Institute! Maestro Impro™ is a dynamic, elimination-style improv format where a group of talented actors are guided by one or two directors who cast scenes, inspire the performers, and help shape the flow of the evening. Throughout the show, improvisers are randomly selected for scenes, and each performance is scored by the audience — not just for laughs, but for emotional depth, creativity, and connection. As rounds progress, the performers with the lowest scores are gradually eliminated… until only one remains: the Maestro of the night! Expect: ✨ Spontaneous storytelling ✨ Bold characters and surprise twists ✨ Directors skillfully guiding the vibe ✨ Audience scoring that shapes the outcome Join us for an unforgettable night of theatre that’s collaborative, playful, and completely in-the-moment. 👉 Come cheer on your favourites and help crown the next Maestro! **🦥 Effortlessness and effortless Practice 🦥** “*It is not what you do, but what you stop doing that matters. [...] In peace and silence the skin of the ‘I’ dissolves and the inner and the outer become one. The real sadhana is effortless.*” (Nisargadatta Maharaj) **One of the fundamental opposites on the spiritual path are effort and effortlessness. The more advanced the practice, the more effortlessness becomes an important quality in the practice. At the same time, most practicioners make a lot of effort on the path.** **Let's meet and share for an afternoon on the topic of effortlessness and effortless practice and it's balance with effort.** “*When you are trying too hard, your effort becomes mechanical, and that defeats mindfulness before it even gets started. [...] Drop your expectations and straining. Simply meditate with a steady and balanced effort. Enjoy your meditation and [...t]he meditation itself will take care of the future.*” (Bhante Gunaratana) 💫 **What this event offers for you:** *Guided Meditations for arriving, calming the mind and tuning into your intuition - Meeting people interested in spirituality (all levels) *Safe Space for sharing - non-hierarchical and non-judgemental - Opportunity to ask just about any question **👀 You may watch one or few of the following Videos for inspiration:** * Adyashanti on effortless effort: [https://youtu.be/0ZxRrfZTj9I?is=jTGL1qspGosYmxch](https://youtu.be/0ZxRrfZTj9I?is=jTGL1qspGosYmxch) * Angelo Dilullo on "Simply always awake": [https://youtu.be/l2LZvO9wotM?is=AGxDMQem6AL2MJAn](https://youtu.be/l2LZvO9wotM?is=AGxDMQem6AL2MJAn) * Dean Sluyter on the Guru Viking Podcast "on "Effortless Awakening": [https://youtu.be/hWn63b4f490?is=tHMv8coTga2jhci5](https://youtu.be/hWn63b4f490?is=tHMv8coTga2jhci5) * Mingyur Rinpoche on effortless meditation: [https://youtu.be/2va3j-Ub3B0?is=lE3T-MMxF8eFpQeH](https://youtu.be/2va3j-Ub3B0?is=lE3T-MMxF8eFpQeH) * Swami Sarvapriyananda on effortless meditation: [https://youtu.be/1GkNIs3H2OA?is=HVcNEgoYuasFuNHb](https://youtu.be/1GkNIs3H2OA?is=HVcNEgoYuasFuNHb) * Shinzen Young on "strong determination sitting": [https://youtu.be/xVUtUguRc5s?is=YWH_wRWTJb3Ooqc5](https://youtu.be/xVUtUguRc5s?is=YWH_wRWTJb3Ooqc5) * Sadhguru on "Meditation is effortless": [https://youtu.be/7uV-dZuxAXg?is=yiKvnjwUsUFOQ7oM](https://youtu.be/7uV-dZuxAXg?is=yiKvnjwUsUFOQ7oM) **🧘 About the Organizer** Martin is a certified Mindfulness Teacher, Systemic Coach, Yogi and Altruist by heart who teaches Meditation and Martial Arts in different formats. However, in this meetup Martin focuses on the altruistic intention to open a space for people to share while offering as much facilitation as needed in the moment. “*What is the use of truth, goodness, harmony, beauty? They are their own goal. They manifest spontaneously and effortlessly, when things are left to themselves, are not interfered with, not shunned, or wanted, or conceptualized, but just experienced in full awareness. Such awareness itself is sattva. It does not make use of things and people — it fulfils them.*” (Nisargadatta Maharaj)

The wooded peninsula invites you to hike along the shores of Zeuthener See and Krossinsee lakes. Various picnic areas invite you to rest and let your gaze wonder across the water. There are also places to swim. We meet in Alt-Schmöckwitz at the terminus of tram line 68. From there, we cross the bridge over the Dahme River and immediately reach Schmöckwitzer Werder. From here, the trail leads us south between the edge of the forest and the shore of Lake Zeuthen to the Rauchfangswerder settlement at the tip of Schmöckwitzer Werder. We will circle the tip of the peninsula, where there is also an opportunity to take a picnic break. Please bring your own food and drink as there is no opportunity to purchase anything during the hike. At the shore of Lake Krossin, we will head north again and back to Alt-Schmöckwitz where our tour ends. Here, those who wish, can conclude the tour at on of the various cafés and restaurants available. Humanist Program
Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk. Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.
