As the other days of the long weekend look somewhat rainy, here another suggestion for the sunny Friday - a hike starting and ending in the picturesque town of Dinant. We will get a warm-up climb out of town along the quarry of Leffe, until the path levels out and takes us on a big loop on top of the plateau, with mostly open landscape, fields, meadows and apparently even some wineyards. Expect wide views, some small forests and a few pretty villages along the way. Finally we will steeply descend back into Dinant, where we can find treats for all tastes before heading home. The number of participants is limited to 20, so please manage your registration responsibly: only sign up if you really intend to come and cancel as soon as you know you can’t (this also goes for people on the waiting list!). We will try to keep close to an average moving speed of 5km/h. We will walk both on paved and unpaved roads.
