*'Embarrassing feelings and thoughts you don't dare - or want to share with people in your life and the world around you'*
Welcome to our friendly and supportive Community.
Where do we meet and really connect with other gay men in London?
We Do in Covent Garden! We are at the City Lit College in Room 113 (First floor)
**Our discussion themes would always be advertised in advance.**
We will advertise the topic we’ll be discussing before each meeting, so that you know exactly what to expect before signing up for each particular meeting. *We offer workshops unlike most other gay/bisexual men's therapeutic discussion groups.*
**A Speaker**
We will at times provide a Speaker for our meetings kickstarting interesting and stimulating discussions. The Speaker can be an expert in their field such as for example an author, a therapist or a philosopher but we are welcoming any of our members to be a Speaker or a demonstrator of exercises such as massage, pilates or yoga. Or perhaps you would want to talk about your profession, if you feel it has relevance to our group. You would just have to contact Dan first for a discussion and planning.
**Frequency of meetings / fee**
In 2026 we’ll only have one meeting per month in person at the City Lit College in Covent Garden and one meeting online. If there is a demand for more in person meetings we’ll consider having more. **Walks / museum visits**
We will continue offering our occasional walking trips and also now include gay/bisexual themed history walks and visits to Museums.
WHAT WE ARE:
We are a group of supportive and insightful great men and we are looking forward to including you - this is what we do:
CONNECTING - It is a place where you will be able to connect with other gay and bi-sexual men and where you can exchange your life experiences with them and your everyday feelings, no matter what those feelings may be - and also a place where you will be able to just be with others who live similar lives to you.
EXPLORING SAFELY WITH SUPPORT - It is a place where you will experience support and growth and where you can feel safe enough to explore and reflect your feelings and life stories. Sharing is at the heart of the group but you share however much you are comfortable with - you're in charge.
CREATIVE STATE REGISTERED THERAPY - It is a therapeutic discussion group which at times offers workshops and borrows elements from Creative Arts Psychotherapies. The group is based on the Creative Arts Psychotherapy/Dramatherapy and counselling work I provided ongoing for the charity Positive East in London.

Circling drop in evening
Circling is a present-moment relational awareness practice. We’re bringing our attention to what’s unfolding in real time, repeatedly returning to what’s happening within ourselves, between us and in the shared space of the group.
We practice approaching our own experience and the experience of others with curiosity, becoming more aware of the subtleties of what is present. The emphasis is on staying in contact with your experience as it unfolds. The unfolding may be quiet and internal or it may lead to words – naming sensations, thoughts, emotions, impulses or perceptions. It might also include movement or other non-verbal expression. The idea is not to try to change what’s there, but to become more aware of what it is and how we are meeting it and relating to it in the moment.
Often awareness follows expression and this is okay too. We are all swimming in the ocean of the unknown. Occasionally the whale lifts its head above the surface and we catch a glimpse – a moment of seeing something about ourselves that we hadn’t noticed before.
Over time, many people find that this kind of awareness practice deepens their sense of aliveness and helps them notice patterns in how they relate to themselves and others. With ongoing practice, some people discover an increased capacity to be with themselves and others in a more conscious, grounded, flexible and responsive way – where we can experience ourselves as active participants in our lives rather than passive reactors to what is happening internally or around us.
Both those new to Circling and those with more experience are very welcome.

Any questions, please direct message me here or email:
[robyncontact365@gmail.com](http://robyncontact365@gmail.com)
We’ll start at 7pm (arrive from 6.50pm) and will finish at 9pm. There will be some optional hang out time after 9pm.
Opposite Elephant & Castle tube and Thameslink train station, and numerous bus routes.
**Facilitation and Terms of Service**
This is a facilitated group practice but not group therapy and not psychotherapy. Because of my NARM background and own personal journey, I value personal choice, agency and emergent self-awareness. Participants are encouraged to stay connected to their own pace and to keep checking in with themselves throughout the practice – noticing what feels supportive, what feels like too much, and what they may need in any moment.
There’s no expectation to be vulnerable or to share anything that feels too personal or emotional and you are always welcome to speak, remain silent, pause, step back and take a break, leave or ask for what you want, including asking for support. Participants are also invited to respect one another’s pace and boundaries.
The intention of my Circling leadership is to support myself and people in staying present with their experience while in relationship with others, and to develop greater awareness of how they are meeting that experience. Having said that, like solo meditation, it’s normal that we will all repeatedly lose presence and Circling can sometimes evoke strong emotions or reactions in people which can be difficult for them and challenging for others in the space to navigate. If you find the prospect of this potentially destabilising or overwhelming, or if you are currently experiencing significant emotional distress or instability in your life that might be exacerbated by this type of group environment, or if you are unsure you’ll be able to take care of yourself and ensure the practice works for you, then please contact me before registering so we can discuss further.
By registering you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the above.

FIRST MEETUP: London Bridge Sunset Walk + Borough Bites.. For Free...
**FIRST MEETUP: London Bridge Sunset Walk + Borough Bites**
**Hey, I'm Flinty (25). I come through London Bridge every day on my way home and honestly, I'm fed up doing the same solo walk. So I thought, why not turn it into a social?**
**This is a no-pressure first meetup to find cool people who want to explore London after work and plan cheap trips out of it. If you're new here, bored of your routine, or just want mates who actually leave the house, this is for you.**
**WHAT TO EXPECT / AGENDA**
**• 5:30pm: Meet outside London Bridge Station (Tooley Street exit, right by The Shard, next to the big 'London Bridge' sign). I will be there 10 mins early.**
**• 6:40pm: Quick intros, no awkward circle, just names and what area you are from.**
**• 6:45pm to 7:30pm: Walk along the Thames to Tower Bridge and back via Southbank. Easy pace, good for chatting.**
**• 7:30pm to 8:30pm: Stop at Borough Market for food. Grab whatever you want, no set spend.**
**• 8:30pm onwards: Optional drink at The Barrowboy and Banker pub for anyone who wants to stay. No pressure to drink.**
**We will finish by 9pm so you can still get home.**
**WHO IT'S FOR**
**20s and 30s, locals, internationals, anyone who is tired of London feeling boring. Small group, aiming for 8 to 12 max for the first one so it's not overwhelming.**
**WHAT TO BRING**
**• Comfortable shoes (we will walk about 3km)**
**• Oyster card or contactless**
**• A light jacket, it gets windy by the river**
**• About £10 to £20 for food or a drink if you want it**
**• Good vibes only**
**HOW TO FIND THE GROUP**
**This is NOT dating, NOT a party promo, NOT a networking pitch. Just people who want to make London more fun and help each other survive it. Come even if you are shy, we will look out for you.**
ADHD Picnic for Women & NB people ☀️🥂
Summer. The season when neurotypicals frolic effortlessly in parks while the rest of us spend 45 minutes deciding which bag to bring, arrive having forgotten to eat, and then can't find the group because we didn't think to ask where exactly in the park everyone would be.
Good news: neither did anyone else. We'll find each other eventually.
1PM–3PM: WOMEN ONLY
Women is an inclusive term and those who feels they fit into women, femme presenting, gender queer or NB are welcome to attend.
The first two hours are a women-only space. This means you can talk about your ADHD without anyone interjecting to say their nephew is "a bit like that."
You can also talk about literally anything else, we're not going to make you do sharing circles or fill in a worksheet about your feelings. It's a picnic. Sit on the grass. Eat something. Talk to someone or don't.
3PM ONWARDS: OPEN TO ALL
https://meetu.ps/e/Q2clW/YBzrR/i
Partners, friends, allies, and ADHDers of every variety are welcome from 3pm. The more the merrier, in a low-key way that doesn't actually require anyone to be merry if that's not where they're at.
What to expect:
Grass. Possibly some pigeons.
People who will understand if you need to leave suddenly, or sit slightly away from the group, or talk for forty minutes about one specific thing
Conversations that start mid-thought and end unresolved. This is fine. This is us.
Someone who brought too many snacks. Someone who brought no snacks and forgot they were hungry until just now.
What not to expect:
A schedule. A host who has everything under control.
Anyone arriving exactly on time (including us).
Organised activities, name badges, or any pressure whatsoever to socialise in a way that doesn't suit you.
Bring: something to sit on, something to eat and drink, sunscreen if you remember, a book you probably won't read, and whatever version of yourself turns up on the day. That one is fine.
Getting there: [Map link here.](https://maps.app.goo.gl/m47CfNPgTuKnMtFC6?g_st=ic) Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2A. It's a smallish square park. We'll be in it. We will attach a bright coloured blanket to a tree.
Look for the group that seems to be having a good time in a slightly disorganised way.
HOT Dynamic Vinyasa yoga
To book:
Dynamic and fast-paced flow of yoga. The structure is similar to that of Ashtanga Vinyasa, consisting of a warm-up (Surya Namaskar A + B), after which one continues in the standing poses, seated poses, and ending with the traditional closing series.
Sunshine & Silliness | The ADHDers Picnic | Holborn | Everyone Welcome
We are back again for another day of fun, silly laughs and making new friends!
The event is a picnic in London for ADHDers, neurodivergent people, and friendly chaotic sorts. You don't need ADHD, or a diagnosis. Cool, nice people are welcome.
We’ll be in **Lincoln's Inn Fields** from 3pm ([The women only picnic starts at 1pm)](https://meetu.ps/e/Q29Wk/YBzrR/i) and finish at... whenever. A loose ending feels on brand.
Expect:
*snacks, chats, and fresh air
- wandering conversations and abrupt topic changes
*people arriving late, leaving early, and forgetting what they were saying
- a friendly mix of regulars and new people
Bring:
*something to sit on
- food and drinks
*water
- layers / suncream / emergency crisps
Lincol's Inn Fields is central, easy to get to, and near cafés, pubs and toilets, which is all very helpful for a picnic and for being alive.
Come for twenty minutes or all day. Lurk gently. Overshare magnificently. Get distracted by a dog. Plenty of people come alone, so solo arrivals are very normal. If you are a feeling
a bit shy or awkward, please ask for
Kieran, (that's me) and we can have a chat.
A nice, low-pressure London ADHD social meetup where you overstimulated folks can touch grass for a few hours.
**Directions:**
Come into Lincoln's Inn Field, look for a tree where a bright yellow blanket will be hanging. It's not a big space, we'll be easy to find.
**A note: This is a consent-led space. Please consider not everyone wants to be asked for their phone number on meeting for the first time or to go out on a date. This is a strictly not a dating event. People come here to connect and build community. If anyone has any concerns, please speak to Kieran, (me) directly**

Men's Group meetup
**The idea for this group is to build a community where men can gather together and build connections & learn and grow from each other.**
How we start each meeting is by each of us checking in with our "roses and thorns" aka what are the good things and the bad things going on in your life recently?
Then we will go into a topic discussion.

Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
[The Board Walks](http://www.theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations.
If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!).
**HOW IT WORKS**
**Step 1: Bring a topic**
Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event.
**Step 2: Circle up & share**
We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"
**Step 4: Feel more alive**
Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times.
*For more details, read our [Orientation Guide.](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)*
**HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC**
A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about.
Recent topics include:
* "What are you passionate about right now?"
* "What makes a good friend?"
* "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?"
* "How do you want to be remembered?"
* "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?"
Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter.
**WHAT TO EXPECT**
This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.*
But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here.
**FAQ**
* Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk!
* We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space.
* We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space.
* Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know.
* Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic!
**LOGISTICS**
* If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.
* Read our [Orientation Guide](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation) for full details.
* If you enjoy the event, send **[this](http://www.theboardwalks.com/)** to a friend or sign up for our **[newsletter](https://theboardwalks.beehiiv.com/)**. We're in multiple cities with more on the way. 🤠👋
