Dog Pawrents Meetup for Christmas & Festive Photo Taking
Dog Pawrents Meetup for Christmas & Festive Photo Taking
**Hello dog parents and dog lovers!** Christmas is just around the corner, and if you’re looking for a cozy meetup for you and your furry friend, come join us on the 21st for a relaxed doggie gathering with a small photo‑shoot setup! I noticed there isn’t a dog‑related group here on Meetup, so I thought… why not start one myself? There’s no fee — I simply want to bring together people who share a love for dogs. For everyone’s safety, I’ll just need you to fill out a quick form beforehand. \>\>\> https://moaform\.com/q/EYHMmG <<< We’ll be meeting in Sheung Wan. Let me know if you’d like to join — would love to see you and your pup there! \*\*The photos will not be handled by a professional photographer but I'll try to get the decoration and props. Let's meet up and have some Christmas photo fun!
Hooked
Hooked
**Hooked, disoriented, lost…** It’s a common sight to see people everywhere around us glued to their smartphone screens, and in this outing we would capture people using their cell phones in the streets. The idea is to capture the hooked humanity in various contexts, situations and relations by applying photographic techniques. Please have a look at some of the pictures on the theme in this event's album below. **Meeting Time and Place:** **3.30pm** at the **Wan Chai MTR Station**, **Exit A3** (street level, Johnston Road). We would meet **3.30pm at the Wan Chai MTR Station Exit A3 (street level, Johnston Road)**, then walk around Wan Chai neighbourhood taking pictures and re-group **5pm** at **Eric Kayser Cafe, 248 Queen’s Rd E, Wan Chai** (opposite Hopewell Centre) for photo sharing/discussion over a drink. **IMPORTANT:** Please sign up only if you are coming, those not showing up 2x in a row would be taken off the group list while active members would be given a preference over long inactive members, the last minute habitual dropouts and no-shows. **FINALLY:** For every image you post, please comment on at least one other image, no matter if you think you are qualified to comment or not. You can always give some constructive comments with regard to Colour, Tone, Light, Action, Pattern, Balance, Composition, Visual and Emotional appeal of the image/s. This group is about sharing and learning from each other.”

Decagone at One-Shot Saturday (tabletop RPGs)
Decagone at One-Shot Saturday (tabletop RPGs)
**Decagone** Upon arriving for their first day on the job in a deep ocean research facility, it becomes apparent that the crew are caught in a uniquely horrifying situation. They’ve become trapped inside a time-loop, along with a number of rather peculiar and dangerous experiments. Every ten minutes, the crew finds themselves back in the elevator they arrived in. Unable to escape, and no time to call for help, how long until they've looped one too many times for their mind to handle? A Mothership adventure. **The Eternal Grind Cafe** Your hubris has angered the gods, and to teach you a lesson in humility, you have been sent to hell! Hell turns out to be a minimum wage job in a tip-based industry. In your own universe you might have been a hero, a demigod, or a villain, but here you are but a lowly barista of the Eternal Grind Café– and the breakfast rush is coming. **Discworld - A Rite Before Hogswatch** It’s the night before Hogswatch and someone’s decided that Mr Alfred Hinsley, owner of the Ankh Morpork Metalworking Factory, needs to be taught a lesson about humility, family, and kindness this winter holiday. Usually, this is a job goes to the big leagues ghosts, the ones that haunt opera houses and ancient moors — unfortunately, due to a clerical error they’ve been double-booked to haunt some *other* rich guy. The job now falls to you, the troupe of Treacle Mine Road Community Theatre — you’re not ghosts, and you're not that into morality plays, and honestly you don’t even know this bloke very well, but a gig’s a gig and you’ve done enough Hogswatch Panto to know how this goes. WHAT IS ONE-SHOT SATURDAY? It's a weekly meet-up in Sheung Wan/Central, focusing on indie games and single-session games (one-shots). 而家所有游戏係英文嘅但如果你要嚟玩中文游戏,我哋會無任歡迎。只要湊啱玩家就行! You can drop in and play at any One-Shot Saturday – you do not need to have played in a previous session or commit to playing again. Whether you've played an RPG before or not, you're welcome to join us. Please arrive on time as once the games begin it becomes difficult to properly introduce latecomers. Join the conversation, make plans, suggest games to play, etc. — Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/oneshotsaturdays/ *** WHAT IS A TABLETOP RPG? It's a game in which you never know where the next stop will be, because it’s all down to the decisions you and your fellow players make. Usually one person is the Game Master (or "GM"). Everyone else will be players, taking the role of the characters in the game. The players get to say what their characters say, think, and do. The GM describes everything else in the world. Then... we play to find out what happens. The game is a conversation: I say something, then you reply, maybe someone else chimes in. We talk about what's happening to the characters we imagine and the world around them. We also talk about the rules, which help us decide what happens next if the next step is in doubt. The rules differ from game to game: some use dice to shape the story, others use cards or something else. It's always a conversation, though.
