Yet when left unchecked, they can hijack our nervous system, cloud communication, and strain our relationships.** **This two-part experiential workshop series offers a grounded, science based path to meeting anger with awareness; and transforming it into clarity, empathy, and compassion.** **Blending neuroscience, mindfulness practices, embodied movement, and mindful communication tools, we explore how anger affects the body and brain; and how it can become a powerful gateway to self understanding and deeper connection with others.** **Through guided meditation, reflective journaling, gentle movement, visualisation, pair and group exercises, you’ll learn how to rechannel stress, regulate your nervous system, and engage with conflict in a more conscious and compassionate way.** **Part 1: Rechanneling Stress and Understanding Our Needs** **We all experience anger and frustration, when we feel disrespected, unheard, or blocked from reaching our goals. These emotions can feel overwhelming and have a strong impact on our nervous system and well-being. We explore how emotional hijacking and chronic stress work in the brain and body, and how our internal narratives and unmet needs fuel reactive patterns.
