Wim Hof Method
It's better when we're together. Come and experience the power of the WHM with a wonderful group of people. We breathe, we go into the cold and we teach our bodies to heat up properly. We develop resilience and the mindset to use these powerful healing tools over and over again, all year round. This gathering is fully guided by Wim Hof instructor Steve Beattie.
If you are new to this, come on down, enjoy the support and practice in a safe way with us. If you already have a WHM practice this meetup is a great way to take it to the next level, and make lots of new friends.
There will be a fire, snacks and drinks shared by other attendees. We have been doing this 6 for years!

SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE @ North York Theatre $30
Join us for **Shakespeare in Love**, a lively, romantic comedy that brings the magic of theatre and the thrill of first love to the stage. The play will be presented by Alexander Showcase Theatre, a high-quality community theatre company at the Fairview Library Theatre in North York.
**THE PLAY:** Set in Elizabethan England, the story follows a young Will Shakespeare struggling with writer’s block—until he meets the bold and passionate Viola de Lesseps, whose secret dream of acting sparks the inspiration for *Romeo and Juliet*.
Adapted from the Academy Award®-winning film, this play-with-music is packed with humour, sword fights, disguises, and a delightful play-within-a-play. With plenty of Shakespeare’s own words woven throughout, it’s a fast-paced, feel-good night at the theatre full of wit, romance and backstage drama.

Please join me and my other groups for a fun and leisure nature walk through **High Park during Cherry Blossom Season.**
We will meet at **La Diperie Cafe** where you are welcome to grab a coffee, water, pastry or ice cream if you like before we head out.
This will give us an opportunity to introduce ourselves as everyone arrives; then make our way on a friendly walk through the iconic **High Park in Toronto.**

You are warmly invited into a sacred evening of deep restoration, embodiment, and remembrance.
We begin by setting a shared **intention of gratitude**, gently opening the energetic field of the space and allowing the nervous system to soften. As the field expands, we invite more light into the body and awareness. Light carries information — and when welcomed consciously, it can support profound shifts in clarity, vitality, and inner alignment.
Through guided **breathwork and subtle energetic practices**, we activate the central channel of the body (Sushumna Nadi), drawing awareness upward toward the third eye to awaken intuition, inner vision, and higher wisdom.
We then move through a **Chakra Tune-Up**, using sound, vibration, and gentle tapping techniques to stimulate and harmonize each energy center. These simple but powerful practices help clear stagnation and restore energetic flow throughout the body.
The journey continues into **somatic and fascial awakening**, where we release stored tension through rhythmic movement, shaking, bouncing, and Qi Gong–inspired exercises. These practices hydrate the connective tissue, regulate the nervous system, and invite the body back into its natural fluidity.
From this awakened state, we slowly transition into **restorative Yin Yoga**, allowing the deeper layers of fascia and connective tissue to unwind and integrate.

Badminton Enthusiast
This group is for badminton enthusiasts who are passionate about exploring the connections between metabolism, energy, and exercise. We are welcome beginner plus, intermediate and advance level players looking to improve your skill or a seasoned player seeking to optimize your performance on the court, this group is for you! Join us for friendly games. This badminton session is a weekly event and it is followed with dinner together but it is optional.

Old Industry, New Energy & A Food Hall Finish
Some parts of Toronto have completely reinvented themselves — and walking through them feels like watching the city evolve in real time.
This is a brand new walk — the first time we’re doing it — and it’s all about exploring three very different (and very cool) pockets of the west end.
We’ll start in Liberty Village, once an industrial zone filled with factories and rail lines, now transformed into a buzzing neighbourhood of condos, creative spaces, and local energy. You can still feel the history in the brick buildings — it’s just been given a whole new life.
From there, we’ll head to Stackt Market, a unique outdoor market built from shipping containers, full of pop-up shops, art, and ever-changing vendors.
We’ll finish at The Well, one of Toronto’s newest and most talked-about developments, where we’ll settle into the food hall for a relaxed lunch together.
This is not a formal tour.
It’s a social walk — a mix of city exploration, light storytelling, and discovering places together.

We’ll meet at Wendy’s at King & Dufferin and begin our walk into Liberty Village, wandering through its streets and getting a feel for the neighbourhood.
From there, we’ll make our way over to Stackt Market to explore, browse, and take it all in.
Afterward, we’ll continue toward The Well, where we’ll wrap up the walk and grab lunch in the food hall. There are lots of options, so everyone can find something they like.
You’re welcome to stay and eat or head out whenever you like.

As long as it’s not extreme conditions, we’ll be going ahead.

Free In-Person Meeting: Healing from Trauma and Past Betrayals
This is a free, in person meeting.
Burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to “pin the blame” on someone or something. If you don’t find the RIGHT reasons, or select the correct sources of the problem, the problem can just get worse and worse.
Whether in love or personal ties, with friends or at work, our life really IS affected by the quality of our relationships. Good ones can promote pleasure and survival while less optimum ones can lead to annoyance, anger, self-doubt, stress, or even affect our health and ability to survive well.
Whether you are suffering from a divorce, or a painful break-up, don’t know who to trust (or who to CHOOSE) as a partner, friend, boss or employee - the anxiety of relationship troubles can really make a mess of things. Maybe you’ve suffered a betrayal, or are dealing with hostility or criticalness or invalidation. Dwindling relationships can involve destructive behavior, where we hurt those we love, or start succumbing to self-destructive thoughts, attitudes or behaviors that spiral out of control and affect much more than our immediate relationship.
Past losses in love or life can affect how we act or react to new people and situations and hold us back from even starting to create new, possibly great relationships! How can one get back onto a saner course of action?
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life: human relationships!

• Where do compulsive destructive behaviors come from and what can be done about them?
• How to form closer bonds & keep growing the relationships with the people you care about?
• How to enhance one’s own ability to survive and create positive healthy relationships whether in love, family & friendships or in work, business or one’s career?
Relationships can be hard and life itself IS challenging. Why not arm yourself with the knowledge and breakthroughs that have been made about the mind, mental reactions & interpersonal relationships, so that one has better awareness and control over themselves and life in general.
Learn where painful experiences are “stored” and how they can unknowingly affect us. You will also find out how one can “erase” those past painful experiences so that one is free to move forward without being tripped up by the past. 2. Non-Judgement - we respect and honor every man’s truth so that we may receive the same from others. While we may not agree on everything, we commit to respecting every man’s perspectives and engaging in honorable discussion with one another.
3. Be committed - honor your commitment to this group and to yourself. If you attend a meeting, please commit yourself fully to the meeting. Also be committed to your own journey. When we fail, we own it & clean it up.
4. Speak from the heart - this is NOT a space to “look good”, have the “right” answers, and have it all together. Relax and know you are not alone. Be exactly who you are within the safety of this space.

Mental Health, how do you understand it? How can you improve it?
How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself.
Have you ever suffered from a traumatic experience, a deep loss or been through a painful breakup? Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went?
Are your emotions out of your own control? Have you ever felt, even if you aren’t aware of it, that possibly you are getting in your own way of your happiness and success? How does this affect your self-confidence?
Find out what is at the root of all stress, anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Find out how and why you hold yourself back from achieving your goals and having the life you have dreamed of. As soon as you learn what is at the root of these unwanted conditions, you’ll see it is something you can DO something about. You will not be labeled or categorized at this MeetUp.
