How safe is AI Code - Live DEX audit
How safe is AI Code - Live DEX audit
Now, Artificial Intelligence (AI) can write your code at incredible speeds! But how safe is it? New tools make it easy for non-technical people to write code and build projects. “Vibe Coding” lets you describe anything you want to build and the AI assistant takes care of the rest. In this meetup, we’ll put some AI-generated code to the test and perform a live audit of the code of a smart contract that works as a decentralized exchange (DEX). Duncan from 0x presents the code produced by an AI and gives an overview of good design features to be aware of. Next are Sam and Paddy that have prepared some audits to test it and will also conduct a live demonstration on how to test code with a quick AI model. Join the discussion and we’ll figure out the future together ;) The speakers: Duncan is lead smart contract developer at 0x/Matcha, a leading DEX aggregator and swap dApp. 0x lets builders embed crypto trading in any app. Give your users the same deep liquidity & optimal trade execution trusted by Coinbase, Phantom, & more. Samnuel is a software engineer and Co-Founder of SoDNAscan, a health-tech SaaS turning genetic and wearable data into AI-generated personalized health books, with 4+ years of experience in full-stack development and AI integration. Paddy is co-founder of P2 Studios, a Malta-based AI development studio. As a jack of all trades in software, he first started off in game development 7 years ago. He then branched off to fields like frontend, backend, smart contracts and AI and now builds privacy-first software across agentic AI, speech-to-text, and more.

Drink with AI
Drink with AI
🍷 Drink with AI: Exploring Computer Vision & Wine Grab your laptop and a glass! Join us for a hands-on GDG event where we explore the practical side of computer vision. Can an AI learn to visually distinguish between different bottles and varieties of local Maltese wine? In this interactive session, we'll guide you through the process of training custom machine learning models to recognize, classify, and demonstrate computer vision techniques using a selection of fantastic wines provided by Tal-Massar Winery. Whether you are an AI enthusiast, a wine lover, or a beginner curious about machine learning, this event is the perfect blend of tech and culture. You'll get to see exactly how image classification works in real-time, and enjoy some great local wine while doing it! 📅 Event Details Date: March 28th Time: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM Location: Faculty of ICT - Common Room (-1, B) Please bring your laptop! This is a fully interactive, hands-on workshop. We'll be using accessible, browser-based tools, so you won't need to install any heavy software beforehand, but you will need your own device to build, train, and test your computer vision models alongside us. Spaces are limited, so be sure to RSVP early. We can't wait to build with AI (and grab a drink) with you! How LLMs Like ChatGPT Actually Work and How to Build With Them
How LLMs Like ChatGPT Actually Work and How to Build With Them
**First meetup of the Columbus AI Engineering group.** We’ll kick things off with a practical, beginner-friendly discussion on: **How LLMs like ChatGPT actually work — and how to build real applications with them.** We’ll cover: * what’s actually happening under the hood (at a high level) * why LLMs behave the way they do (hallucinations, prompt sensitivity, etc.) * how people are building real systems with them today * where things break in practice This will be a **short, informal talk (\~15–20 min)** followed by open discussion and Q&A. Whether you’re an engineer, builder, or just curious about how modern AI systems work, you’re welcome to join. No slides, no fluff — just real conversation about real systems. We’ll hang out afterward and get to know each other.
